From field in shared mailbox displays LegacyexchangeDN instead of person's email address.

We have a situation where a group of users who utilize a shared mailbox are getting a weird issue from time to time. They will take mail from their own mailbox and drag it to the shared mailbox. Sometimes the email show up fine, other times the
from field shows the GUID of the person's mailbox rather than their email address after they move it. See attached pictures. Any idea what would cause this and how I would fix it? It appears this way in everyone's Outlook and OWA.

DisplayName is an Active Directory property which represents the display name of a recipient in an appropriate format to display to the end-user. This is a Unicode property which may contain non-ASCII characters so that a user name may contain DBCS characters.
In your case, you need to create a registry entry on Outlook side.

I have this exact problem. I have 3 email addresses on my mac and I can select one, and the email still be sent through another account and I won't know it until I get a reply for that email in one of the other accounts.

The Apple ID and Password that was Originally used to Activate the iDevice is required.

How do I sort only on messages in a folder "FROM" the person + an email address

The most basic search a person needs is to get a listing of the emails FROM the named person typed in the block and then selecting one of the person's email addresses. T-Bird does not seem to have this function as I cannot find it in the help library. Does it have it? If not when will it be included? We do not need all the messages mentioning the person's name from everywhere. We only want to list the emails FROM that person in the presently selected folder. Every other email system I have used over the past 25 years has this feature and it is relly, really frustrating that T-Bird does not seem to have this. Probably best solved by adding FROM to the selections for the quick filter.

Welcome to the Apple community.
If you mean that Find My Phone is asking for a password to a different Apple ID to your current Apple ID and that ID is a previous version of your current ID, not an entirely different one.
This feature has been introduced to make stolen phones useless to those that have stolen them.
However it can also arise when the user has changed their Apple ID details with Apple and not made the same changes to their iCloud account/Find My Phone on their device before upgrading to iOS 7, or if you restore from a previous back up made before you changed your details.
The only solution is to change your Apple ID back to its previous state with Apple at My Apple ID using your current password, you don’t need access to this address if it’s previously been used with your Apple ID, once you have saved these details enter the password as requested on your device and then turn off "find my phone" and delete the account from your device. It may take a short while to remove the account.
You should then change your Apple ID back to its current state, save it once again and then log back in using your current Apple ID. Finally, turn "find my phone" back on once again.

Draft in shared mailboxes is being stored in personal mailbox

It’s by default that the draft would be saved in the default main mailbox in Outlook. If you want to save the draft in the shared mailbox, please setup the shared mailbox Exchange account in a single profile to have a try. If so, we can

Stop displaying recent contacts (cashe) in compose email address fields

In Blackberry 10, when I try to send an email to one contact (who I do 15-20 times a day) the top auto filled address is incorrect (missing the .com suffex). Say the contacts name is Ark and his email is [email protected] When I type Ark, "ark@bunnypop", shows up as the top address. The actual email address ([email protected]) shows up at the bottem of the list. There is no contact saved with "ark@bunnypop" as a contact field.
Solutiong from OS5-7 were simply removing cashed email addresses.

It is currently not possible to remove those cached email addresses, sorry.
If you select the correct one enough times, it may become the top suggested address.

Formscentral-receipt instead of my own email address?

I see that <[email protected]> turns up as the sender of the 'Thanks for filling in our form' e-mail, instead of my own e-mail address, even though I have checked my own e-mail address at FROM.
Maybe I did something wrong?

We (our email server) can't send email on behalf of someone else but only sends email from a @adobe.com email address. The 'From' field in the Email Receipts tab is to specify the reply-to address so that when your fillers do reply to the email it will be sent to you.

How can I customise Thunderbird message columns to show sender raw address (not display name) and the "Received for" email address that was used to reach me?

I find it increasingly important to be able to see a sender's actual email address rather than just display name, as they usually don't show a company name - which a domain always would. Is there a way to customise settings/write a script/tweak files to add raw email & domain name columns? When dealing with a number of people at the same company it is hard to order or glance through a list of emails to find them. I also know 2 people with the same name at different companies and it is impossible to distinguish!
Secondly, as a related column addition, since a number of email aliases reach me it would be useful to have a column to show the "Received..for" part of the message source which reveals the actual email used in the To/CC/BCC which led to me. Again can this be tweaked or scripted?
I have programming experience but have not made add-ons and would be open to a suggestion which involves creating a custom add-on if adding columns with custom values is possible that way.

Extended message headers can be searched from Edit/Find/Search Messages, or the folder context menu, by adding custom headers to the search criteria. So, you might be able to create a search on specific properties of a message.
The method of adding custom headers to searches is the same as the one described here for filters:

When I select an address for my "To Field" is encased with symbols and send rejects as invalid email address?

Something changed?? When I select an email address out of my address book, the email address in the "To Field" appear like this <[email protected]> with the < & > symbols colored red. When trying to send it replies that this is not a valid email address. Probably something dumb I did but can't seem to fix or repair.

Your email ID saved without the name, so only it showing like < >.
The color red indicates, the address not saved in the email field in your address book.
When you import your address book from gmail, if you have more than one email ID saved in a particular name, then thunderbird saves the emails in the field name of "others".

How do I change my Apple ID to use my @me email address instead of my old email address?

I recently started to use iCloud and have therfore now got an @me email address. I have managed to make it my primary email address but it won't let me make it my Apple ID even though there is an option to make your primary email address one of the same.
When I try it says "You cannot create an Apple ID using a MobileMe account. If this is your email address, it is also your Apple ID."
I can log in to Apple using my @me email address but it displays my old, not in use any more, email address and it really annoys me.
Does any one know how I can get it to use only my @me address and completely forget my old one?

There is a lot of confusion about Apple ID and I think this has come about mainly becuase Apple introduced .Me Accounts. Prior to that there was only .Mac. My iCal and Contacts were syncing fine until I visited "Manage Your Apple ID" I was prompted to change my Apple ID and Primary Email Address. After doing so I lost the syncing between devises as my iCloud on my iPhone was set to my .Me account and my MacBook Pro to .Mac.
Once you've changed your Apple ID and Primary Email Addressto .Mac you can't seemingly go back to .Me which I think is crazy. My work around has been to delete my iCloud Account on my iPhone and then set it up again using my .Mac Account. I now have to do the same on my MBP.
A word of caution before making any changes always make sure your iCal and Contacts info. are backed-up!
