From "FotoAlbum Pro" to "LightRoom 1.0"

I have reading a lot of posts here and it is very interesting.
I have something to say:-)
Im now using FotoAlbum Pro (FAP) software to manage my 15.000 images. 90% of all my images are in one directory on harddrive
I have used LightRoom (LR) Beta and preordered LR a week ago and want to transport/import/move all my images into LR database system from the FAP database system.
All my image files are with keywords all ready but in FAP I have also virtual directories (like collections in LR). I want that virtual directory structure also in LR.
An example of a current virtual directory structure in FAP is like this: Rotterdam -> Events -> Wereldhavendagen
Here is my plan;-)
1. I select all images in Wereldhavendagen virtual directory in FAP.
2. I give the selected images an unique keywordlike LRWereldhavendagen and write it in the image files itself.
3. When I have done this to all my images I will start LR and import all my 15.000 images.
4. I will make collections:
Rotterdam / Events (child of Rotterdam) / Wereldhavendagen (child of Events)
5. I select keyword LRWereldhavendagen and move all the images with this keyword to collection Wereldhavendagen
6. and so on
7. ...except my 290 panorama images of more then 10.000 pixels :-(. These images will be left in FAP software till LR will except bigger files.
I dont think there will be a more faster way to do this.
Is here someone else using FotoAlbum Pro sofware?

I have tested some options and eventually I decide to export all my pictures in FotoAlbum Pro with the option enabled that all virtual directories in FAP (like Collections in LR) will be "hard" directories and dublicate pictures in more then one (e.g. two)virtual directory will be hardcopied in both directories.<br /><br />Then I import my top directory (including all my subdirectories which FAP made by export) in LR.<br />Then I select a directory to start with in LR and select all the pictures in it and put them in a collection which I named the same as the virtual directory in FAP.<br /><br />I have now all my pictures in one hard directory and I rename my pictures always to the following configuration with the (free)program<br />LupasRename:<br /><E:DateTime:Y><E:DateTime:M><E:DateTime:D>_<E:DateTime:H><E:DateTime:MM><E:DateTime:S>_ 01 (or 02..etc if picture is made in the same second)<br /><br />I know there are a lot of FotoAlbum Pro users in the world but I feel right now I am the only one who will transport all my pictures to LR:-)
