From time to time Firefox will not allow me to scroll down a web page, when I scroll down it will jump right back to the top of the web page. Any ideas?

Sometimes when on firefox when I try to scroll down a web page it will immediately jump right back to the top of the web page as soon release the mouse button. When it starts happening it will do this on all open tabs on all web sites.
Just closing Firefox and reopening it does not help, only way I have found to fix this is to reset my computer.

Try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.

You can check for problems caused by a recent Flash 11.3 update and possibly downgrade to Flash 11.2 or 10.3.

I have an ipod touch and have had it for about six months. I have not had any trouble with it but now it will not let me sync- I have downloaded cds to itunes but when I sync my ipod it does not put the cds on my ipod. Firefox will not allow use of my Outlook 2003 email even when default it tries to use Windows Live.

Using Firefox 3.6.12 on Win7, Outlook 2003 email. Firefox will not use my Outlook email even when set as the default, or when "always asked" is used. Always tries to open Windows Live when "sending link", or with website hyperlinks for email.

This has all been done and the problem persists.
It tries to open Outlook first, then the message "Navigation to this webpage was cancelled" and it proceeds to open Windows Live mail.

Firefox does not allow me to reply or send e-mails when browsing , if i click on a link to apply to a job it just opens new tabs until i force a shutdown on my pc

When trying to apply to jobs or respond to adds my firefox 4.0.1 just continuously opens new tabs until i am forced to manually shut down my pc , this was true in earlier versions of firefox also. I am forced to keep internet explorer and run their browser whenever their is a chance i may need to correspond and attach a resume. If i have an actual e-mail address from the employer i can avoid starting explorer by going to my e-mail inbox , but if i am given only a link to apply to i have to shutdown firefox and run explorer.
I just don't get it , firefox is brilliant and i do not care to run explorer at all , can anyone help me ??

The Mozilla plugin for Windows Media Player will not allow me to access streaming video whereas both Internet Explorer and Google Chrome will.

The best way to stop it is to get rid of the obsolete font. Palatino 3.8 from 2006 should normally also be present as part of iLife/iWork and it works correctly.

You know that you lost the layers when you saved it as a jpeg, right? But you're saying you can't add layers to the jpeg now when it's open in the editor? Go to Image>mode and be sure it's RGB, for starters. Are all the commands in the Layer menu grayed out?

I have the exact same problem. I have not changed anything. This is probably a bug or something that has gone bad with Mac OS X (10.7.2). I have not found any solution for this on the web.
