How do I turn 2 pages into 1 front to back.

    I need to accomlish the following:
    1. I need to print a front and back page to every batch of orders that are processed.
    2. Instead of creating multiple spools i need to create just one spool for the batch?
    Does anyone know how to solve this.....am new to spools...ARGHHH

    Hi Glauco,
    Kindly set the print mode = d(duplex printing). the overflow data from 1st page will flow to next page, i.e. back page.
    Hope this info is sufficient to solve ur issue.

  • How do I print front and back with two pages per sheet? (OSX Lion)

    I can't find a simple solution to my situation...
    I'm using Max OSX Lion 10.7.3 and Adobe Reader X 10.1.2. 
    I want print two PDF pages onto one printed sheet, and I want to print front and back.  When I go to the print settings and select two pages per printed sheet, the sample window shows me what I'm looking for.  But when I tell it to print odd only or even only, it changes the print selection.  Here's what happens...
    Let's say I have a PDF document that is 20 pages long.  When I tell it to print two PDF pages per sheet, it shows me that the first pages printed will be PDF pages 1 and 2.  When I tell it that I want it to print odd pages only, it tells me that the first printed page will contain PDF pages 1 and 3.
    In other words, Adobe Reader wants to print the odd PDF pages instead of the odd pages of the printed document (PDF pages 1 and 2, then 5 and 6, then 9 and 10, so on).
    So that I'm being clear...
    This [  ] is a printed page.  The numbers inside the brackets represent the page numbers in the PDF document...
    What I want to print is this...
      FRONT   ||  BACK
    [1,2]    ||  [3,4]
    [5,6]    ||  [7,8]
    [9,10]   ||  [11,12]
    [13,14]  ||  [15,16]
      [17,18]  ||  [19,20]
    What would end up printing is this...
      FRONT   ||  BACK

    Aside from telling it exactly which PDF page numbers to print (this would be a taxing job because I'm working with a 273 page document), is there an easy and simple way to print how I'd like?

    I would suggest to use Adobe Ilustrator. Also I get an error message when I try tp access the sample document.

  • HP Laserjet 4P has a 1" toner stain that runs down the left side of page.(front and back)

    Hello all,
    This is my first post here and I hope someone can help me. 
    We have a HP Laserjet 4P that we have used for a few years and recently have had a problem of a 1" toner stain that runs down the left side of the printed page(both front and back side). I have replaced the cartride and cleaned everything I know to clean. When I remove the cartridge, there is a little pile of toner on the left side just in front of the horizontal silver bar that is behind the roller. I have cleaned it up several times. Each time I try to print, The toner stain appears on the printed page again and leaves a new pile of toner in the same place.
    Does anyone have any experience with this problem? I am not sure if it is a worn part or a maintenance issue.

  • How to create / design a 2 page brochure (front and back) in photoshop ?

    I need to design a 2 page brochure (front and back) in photoshop, how to start ?
    I need to create this brochure for high quality printing, so what things I need to make sure ?
    Also I need to know how to create it with bleed space or without bleed space ?

    There is no requiremend for bleed size etc (I just wanna know how to create copy with or without bleed at any time and where to mention the size of bleed). The format is PDF, 300dpi.
    I would appreciate if you could answer my above question so that I can start and go in a right direction.

  • Printing portrait on front page and landscape on back page

    While printing a pdf file, print is coming as portrait on front side  and in landscape on back page. However i kept only portrait in settings. 

    try a Hard Reset first(hold the two physical buttonsuntil you see an apple logo). Press and hold the sleep/wake button and home button til the Apple logo appears.Otherwise delete the app and reinstall it. btw, a hard reset will NOT delete any content

  • HP8600 Jams printing front and back when 4 or more pages

    System- Windows 8.1 PrinterHP Officejet Pro 8600 N911a.  Model N911a Product number CN578A.  Firmware version CLP1CN1322CR.  Duplexer: Installed.  ADF: Installed.
    When printing front and back multiple pages of 4 or more pages the printer jams in the flip chamber.  Both settings Printing [Front to Back] or [Back to Front] will jam.
    I believe this occurred after going to 8.1 from 8.0, however, I am not sure.

    Hello @Lameduck_9 , and welcome to the HP Forums!
    I can see from your post you are experiencing jam issues.  I would like to help!
    I would suggest Uninstalling the Printer Software.
    Once it is uninstalled, I would suggest putting your system into clean boot mode within the Microsoft configuration.  You can do so by following this document: How to perform a clean boot in Windows.
    Once the computer is in clean boot mode, I would suggest reinstalling the HP Printer Install Wizard for Windows.

  • Front and back inside covers?

    I just submitted my first book to be printed. I am concerned that the pages will not come out correctly, in as far as odd-even. In the iphoto book, the system automatically puts an inside cover at the beginning and at the end allowing those pages to print double sided for the front and back cover. However, when the pdf file is generated and viewed, no blank pages are created for this purpose. When the book gets printed, does the Apple printer allow for this? Will my odd pages start as odd or come out even as they did in the pdf file?

    As I recall (all of my books were given away as gifts so I don't have them handy for reference) the odd pages did come out on the right with the even on the left as they should be.

  • Can you customize and add logo's to a back page or cover?

    I was hoping I could further customize a book by adding my logo and contact information to the back page or front cover (corner) of an iphoto book - any suggestions? Is it possible?

    You can do this in Aperture by saving your logo as a jpeg, and then importing the jpeg to your book...you then just place it in a box as you would a regular image.
    I'm not sure if the process is the same for iPhoto, but you could try.

  • Creating a web based book publication with front and back covers

    I have created a book in Indesign which is 12 pages inclusive of front and back covers, the problem I'm having is that when I convert the file into an SWF file the front cover has an extra page to the left of it and the back cover has an extra page to the right of it (these pages are not in my Indesign layots) I don't want these pages as I want the document to look like a book when I send it out.  I'm assuming I haven't set the document up correctly?  I have been on a number of tutorials but none of them seem to go into this.  Some pointers would be really helpful.

    You can do this in Elements. It will require planning for the layout, viz. height, and width of front & back covers, and space allocation in between for the spine area. Be sure that your printer can handle the document size.Once you have figured this out, you need to open a new, blank file of appropriate size and resolution.
    There is available a grid which I find very helpful  to facilitate alignment.
    Each of your pictures, and the blank file (#1 above), should have a resolution of 240--300px/in for good result with printing.
    The text can be produced with the type tool - optionally horizontal or vertical.
    The pictures and text will each be on their own layers, and the move tool can be used to position these components

  • Unable to see back page in print preview

    Hi Experts,
    My requirement is to print terms and conditions on the back side of the page.
    So i have created two pages 1.First and 2.Back. On pages window , in standard attributes,I declared 'First' in Page and 'Back' in Next page.And print mode i had set to 'D'-Duplex.While seeingthe print preview of the invoice i am giving the logical destination as 'LOCL'.
    I think this is the standard procedure we follow to print anything on the back side of the page.But i am not getting the back page in the print preview.
    Could anyone help me out if there is anything else that i have to do to solve this issue.

    I have worked in this scenario,,
    In print preview you are unavble to see back page, in print preview it seems as front page onlu, if you give print, in print out your able to see back page.

  • PDF files, front and back.

    In Adobe Illustrator CS2, is there a way to create a PDF file that is set up to print on the front and back of a page? I have my document currently set-up as an Illustrator file with multiple-page tiles.

    Your printer must be capable of printing on both sides, and every printer can have a different location where you change that setting.
    For example here is where you find them for the printer I am on, incase this helps. Click and hold mousedown on copies and pages, choose fiery features.
    Change 2-sided Printing to any setting but Off.

  • How do I bring form fields to the front or back?

    I have a document with many form fields/push-buttons in order to create pup-up effects in an info graphic.
    So I use fields to create a mouse-over hot spot, and others that pop up. Now, of course, the hot spot must be in front (or on top), otherwise it gets distracted in it's mouse-over function by the popped-up object (image) that lays over it. (The result would look like a flashing effect, as you roll over the hot spot.)
    Now how do I arrange the fields?? Ich can arrange images and texts to come to the front or hide behind other objects. But in the form field editing mode there is no such option. Also it doesn't work to just cut and paste them, they re-appear in their former position, often behind the other fields.

    The tab order effectively sets the z-order, but if a field is not read-only it will be set to the front if it receives the focus.

    Assuming you are asking about printing either from Adobe Reader or Acrobat, it certainly is possible. And such printing has been possible for many, many years.
    Simply select the fit or shrink oversize pages option (or some similar wording for earlier versions of these products) and set the printer to print on both sides of paper (or duplex from printer setup from earlier versions of these products).
    However, if you really mean that you want to print an 11x17 page on 8.5x11 paper such that one half appears on the front and the other half appears on the back of the 8.5x11 paper, that is not directly possible with the current versions of Reader or Acrobat. In Acrobat (not Reader), you would need to duplicate the single 11x17 page and then crop each of the pages to 8.5x11 with one half of the original page on the first 8.5x11 page and the other half on the second 8.5x11 page. Save as a new document and then print normally with the duplex option to 8.5x11 paper.
