  • Keep frozen my phone

when i used my i-phone.keep frozen my phone.re-start and re-store.still same.
    what can i do?

    Time for new phone

  • Clock is frozen and phone won't turn on

I have a BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8200 Series.
I bought it about 4 weeks ago (probably mid-May) through Amazon.com.
    TMobile is the service provider.
Last week WiFi stopped working.  I was unable to check the WiFi box on the Connections page.  I went to TMobile and they said they had seen this before on this phone.  They removed the battery, put back in the battery, and then the WiFi box could be checked.  Presumably the latest version of the software was sent to the phone at that time.
Last night, I plugged my phone in to the wall for charging.  Now (11:30am PT), I've unplugged my phone.  The front display shows the battery is fully charged, WiFi is connected, and I have messages.  The front clock display has been stuck at Wed 17th 7:50am for at least an hour.  When I open the phone, it does not power on.  I've pushed and held the RED button and the GREEN button several times.  Nothing works to turn the phone on.  It's frozen.
The online technical support has nothing to offer on the keyword "frozen" or "won't turn on."  Can anyone here offer advice?
Presumably this phone is covered under warranty.  Can I exchange it for one that actually works?!

I'm not capable of installing or deleting apps.
No clue as to the version #.  The most recent s/w was downloaded last week when I went to the TMobile store about the WiFi problem.
Do you not find it ridiculous that the phone has to be re-booted this frequently?

  • Updates will not download and have frozen my phone.

With the release of iOS 6, I was subjected to a torrent of app updates adding support for iOS6.  I had not yet (and did not plan to) performed the iOS update, but I figured I would just allow the apps to update.  There were about 20 updates, so I just reveiwed them all and hit "update all".  Upon doing so, my phone became inoperable, paralysed by the process of downloading and installing the apps, and has been frozen in this state for 24 hours.
I can activate the lock screen, but unlocking the phone occurs after about a minute delay.  Once in the phone, I am unable to open anything.  Sometimes an app will start but will always cash within seconds.  I have rebooted, only to find it in the same state.  I have attempted to sync, restore, reset... none worked.  I always get errors like, "sync failed to start", "there was an error connecting to the iphone", etc...
Because the phone continuously cycles (autonomously) through unlock, freeze, lock, lockscreen appears, unlock, freeze... it does not allow the computer to do anything,  I can not pause the downloads, I can not delete the apps, I can not do ANYTHING.  I have a $300 paperweight.
    Please help!

One approach, if you haven't tried it would be to do a restore...then when putting your stuff back on after the restore, incrementally add the apps back in....

If that doesn't work, you could try dfu mode....I haven't tried this in iOS 6, but imagine it works the same...
DFU mode[1] is a state that you can put your iPhone into where it can interface with iTunes but does not load the iPhone operating system or boot loader (this is what really differs DFU mode from recovery mode). DFU stands for Device Firmware Update.
While connected to PC, running iTunes, hold down Home and Power( button on upper right edge) button for exactly 8 seconds.
Release the power button.  Restore message will appear in iTunes.  The device will be recognized by iTunes, but no display will appear on the device itself.  The lack of a display on the device will verify that it is in dfu mode.

  • Frozen I phone 4 showing only I tunes logo

I was downloading the latest updates from I phone 4. This took 1.5 hrs. As the download was being transferred to my phone a warning appeared on the computer screen from Microsoft not to proceed as it could cause damage. I stooed the download into the phone and now it is frozen. The screen shows the I tunes logo and the USB logo. The Phone will turn off at the switch but only comes back on with the same logos. What can I do  Very urgent

    Try to Reset your device.
Press and hold both the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears (ignore the Slide to Power Off that shows up first).

  • What do I do with my frozen E63 phone?

I bought my Nokia E63 in the last three (3) months. Now I cannot even use it. All the buttons are frozen except the power button. Whenever the buttons are unfrozen, haphazardly, so many things appear on the screen. I do not know what to do now. Please assist me.

    Warm it up lol
You could try wiping it -- formatting the memory. You will lose everything on the on the phone. Remove your memory card. And hold the following simultaneously till it restarts on/off + * + 3.  (That's power, star, 3).
A more simple format is *#7370# -- but you say the buttons are frozen, so give the above method a shot. If it doesn't work, take the phone to a Nokia repair shop. Good luck
Symbian connected me to the world, to my dreams.. Thank-you Nokia

  • Frozen unusable phone

Sometime a few weeks ago my phone started to get really sluggish. As the days progressed my phone began to freeze for 10-30 minutes every few hours. I finally decided to pop the battery out and reset the phone hoping it would solve the problem. My phone took about 20 minutes to actually reboot and then froze on starting back up. When it finally loaded a screen popped up telling my memory was low and to select some apps to delete and I did so and have been doing so. My phone was fine for about 3 days. My phone has been out of use for two days now because it takes over an hour to start up and is frozen all day. It will unfreeze for less than a minute. I have tried taking the battery out and a soft reset every chance it let me and it isn't fixing the problem. I keep the phone plugged into the computer since it freezing drains the battery. I have been trying to back my phone up since it's been giving this problem but I have been unsucessful. How do I get my phone to stop freezing?
Also the message to delete apps hasn't come up since but it is freezing longer. My phone has been frozen all day today and I need to know what to do. I am missing important calls as I am always on the go...

if you have taken back up of the iphone before you attempted software update, then yuor photoes are already in itunes as back up. After getting it jailbroken, i synced my phone with itunes and got all the data, including games, data, emails and everything from itunes.
So iOS 6 has issues with software, rather i feel apple has done it with an intention so that people can replace the same handset for USD 200.
hi Apple team, please dont penalise customer for bugs in your software. There are millions you trust you as company of repute, I am unfortuanetly happy after jailbreaking iphone 3GS.

  • Frozen unresponsive phone

My iphone is frozen with the apple logo, then randomly flashes for a second before going back to the apple logo. It does not restart or reset. I have tried restoring it on itunes in recovery mode, but it just comes up with the error message "the iphone "iphone" could not be restored. An unknown error occurred (9)."
I cannot find any solutions to this error. Please help me!!!!
    Thanks,
    Jo

    Hi Jo,
Are you restoring from a backup? If so, try a restore not from a backup.
Essentially, if a restore fails to rectify the issue then a trip to your local Apple store (you should make a Genius Bar appointment) for them to further investigate.
If your iPhone is less than 12 months old they will replace it with an 'identical' refurbished model. If not, then at least they will diagnose it & you can then decide whether to pay for a replacement or go to a cheaper repair shop for a quote, then decide on the most cost effective course of action.
    Hope this helps.

    Good luck, Friend.
Recovery mode requires an internet connection.  LauraWoo uses the iPhone as the internet connection for their computer.  Therefore, the computer does not have internet access, so your recommendation is incomplete.
