Frozen Ipod/ Ipod keeps rebooting at black apple logo screen (on loop)

Frozen Ipod/ Ipod keeps rebooting at black apple logo screen (on loop)
-I've already replaced my old 60 GB Ipod in exchange for an 80GB, I bring it home, sync it up with Itunes v7.02 and everything works fine for a while. Not even 24 hours later I go down into my artist/song directory to play a song, and it freezes again. I do the menu center key soft reboot a few times to bypass it and it works for awhile. I've tried looking for current updates for software on it, Restoring it, Resyncing and now It gets to the point everytime I unplug the ipod from charging I get back to the menu and try to play a song or video and it does nothing, it freezes everytime.
There has to be an explanation as to why my first one did it and why my new 80GB is doing it.
I've already ran a diagnosis on all the files in the ipod all of them come back clean.
Help me out.

My ipod is having a similar problem. The black apple logo has been the only thing I see on my ipod. I went a step farther and held the select and play/pause button to get it into disk mode. Once I am here I cannot proceed. I do not have computer that I hook it up to and have transferred the desired songs from an ex-girlfriends computer which I do not have access. What can I do once I have it in disk mode if I do not have a computer available?

Can anyone help me with this issue???

Connect your iTouch to your PC then open iTunes, if iTunes does not recognize your device, try to hold the SLEEP Button and the HOME button at the same time (iPod Reset) for a couple of seconds until the "Charging Tone sounds, now you should be seeing your device name in the iTunes " Device List". If you do, just click RESTORE and iTunes will automatically restore your iTouch to original set-up and download the iOS6 update.
    Hope this helps..

  • My iPhone is stuck on the black Apple logo screen.

    Hi,
So I just bought my friends used iPhone 2G. So in the car, on the way home, I reset everything on the phone because his all his stuff was on it. So when I got home it said it was done, and it was stuck on the black screen with the white apple logo. I shut it off thinking it would come back on and go to the slide to unlock screen. Nope. It is still stuck on the black Apple logo screen. Keep in mind, this phone has never been attached to my computer. Please help me. I'm really excited that I bought this. Now I REALLY want to use this.
    Thank you,
    DJ

Do you plan on activating the iPhone with AT&T?
If so, are you currently an AT&T subscriber?
If you plan on activating the iPhone with AT&T, you need to get a new SIM card from an AT&T corporate store.
When connecting the iPhone to iTunes for the first time with the new SIM card inserted, you should be prompted with the AT&T activation process.
If you don't plan on activating the iPhone with AT&T, did your friend include the no longer activated SIM card inserted in the iPhone - the SIM card that was used with the iPhone when it was activated with AT&T? If so, you can restore the iPhone with iTunes on your computer as a new iPhone. Activation with AT&T will not be required, but the no longer activated SIM card (the SIM card that was used with the iPhone when it was activated with AT&T) must be inserted in the iPhone to complete the restore with iTunes process.

  • My iPod is stuck on the black apple logo screen

I was using a texting app and all of a sudden, my iPod went to the apple logo screen and froze. The apple on the screen is messed up, it doestn't look right, like there was a glitch. I tried restarting it by holding the home button and the button on the top. It turns off, but when it comes back on, the apple is still messed up. I tried this multiple times, a few times there were thin pink, and sometimes blue, lines all across the screen. I also tried hooking it up to my computer, but it doesnt show up on my itunes, and the screen doesnt change. My iPod was charged and was working like normal before this happened. What should I do? Is this fixable? Is it the app's fault that this happened? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
P.S. My warrenty has run out

Typically, this happens when a Touch is "jailbroken" - but I suspect that isn't the case, here.
The you've saved all of your data on iTunes, correct? Then, you next step will be to reset the Touch (pressing the start and power buttons at same time for ten seconds or so), until your Touch resets. It will recompile your library, and can take about an hour. Make sure your Touch is fully charged, of course.
When you're up and running, you might want to nuke that texting app, too.

  • IPod Touch 4G Stuck On Apple Logo Screen

So I just recently jail broke my iPod touch 4G and was using iFile to delete some default apps and stuff that was taking up space on my device.  I only need to use the Music app, so all of the other default apps can be erased.  I must have accidentally deleted something in regards to the music app because I am not able to transfer music onto the device using iTunes.  I turned my iPod off then and turned it back on and this is where the major problem came in.  It's stuck on the Apple Logo screen and will not boot back up or anything.  I have tried putting it in DFU mode and doing every kind of reset or restore and none of that has worked.  Now it doesn't even show up in iTunes.  Unfortunately I don't remember every thing I deleted when using iFile, so I cannot provide much information regarding that.  My iPod has worked perfectly fine until I jail broke it, which I probably shouldn't have even done but none the less if someone has any possible genius solution to my problem, I would appreciate you leaving a comment.  Thanks.

    - If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
    - Try another cable

  • My Ipod is stuck on the Apple Logo Screen

For some reason, every time I update my Ipod touch it has restarting issues. I got it late December early January, so it's still new. The first time I updated it, it told me I needed to connect to Itunes and that it was in recovery mode and long story short I had to sync it from a computer that was not my own and it took two days for me to get it back up and running. This time, it's stuck on the apple logo screen. I tried turning it off by holding the lock and home button, but it just turned right back on. So then I was hoping that I could plug it into the computer and start it on recovery mode, but it doesn't even show up as being plugged into my computer. So now i'm lost at what to do.

  • My New iPod gets stuck on the Apple logo screen.

I got a new ipod but there is one problem with it. For hours at a time it gets stuck on the apple logo screen. In this state it does not connect to my computer. I cannot get it to play music because everytime I manage to get it started up the apple logo screen pops up and shuts it down again.
Also, on the occasions where my computer DOES recognize my iPod, my iPod says it has about 1 GB of "other files" and about 1 gb of "audio files". I understand the audio but I don't remember putting anything onto my iPod that wasn't audio. What are the "other files" and how do I remove them?

Other can be Album Artwork, Notes, Contacts, Firmware etc. or files that are on there if you are using the iPod as a removable storage device. If you feel that Other is being incorrectly reported then try restoring your iPod. Restoring will erase the iPod's hard drive, reload the software and put it back to default settings. Once the restore is complete follow the on screen instructions and it should connect to iTunes and give you a prompt to automatically update your library onto the fresh installation. If you want to update manually or using selected playlists choose no and it will default to manual mode and you can choose whatever setting you like: Restoring iPod to factory settings with iTunes 7

This error is often related to USB timing. Try changing USB ports, using a different dock connector to USB cable, and other available USB troubleshooting steps (troubleshooting USB connections. If you are using a dock, bypass it and connect directly to the white Apple USB dock connector cable. If the issue persists on a known-good computer, the device may need service.
If the issue is not resolved by USB isolation troubleshooting, and another computer is not available, try these steps to resolve the issue:
Connect the device to iTunes, confirm that the device is in Recovery Mode. If it's not in Recovery Mode, put it into Recovery Mode.
Restore and wait for the error.
    When prompted, click OK.
Close and reopen iTunes while the device remains connected.
The device should now be recognized in Recovery Mode again.
