Frozen on Recovery Mo

Hey again,Within a space of 2 days I've managed to somehow mess up my Zen V Plus again .NOT MY FAULT may I add.. But anyway,At around 2AM this morning I was in the car and turned on my MP3, it came onto the menu with format all, reboot and cleanup. I rebooted at first, but the menu only reappeared.So I chose cleanup. It said "Scan Disk..." and has been this way up until now, 8 hours later. The battery is wearing out and I fear it will result in it being totally depleted, leaving me with the problem I had a couple of days ago. Please help, I'm going crazy.<3

i have the also have the same problem. it did the same thing to me when i did the 'format all', and also when i selected to 'clean up'

Frozen in Recovery M

I have a Zen microphoto MP3 and it is frozen in recovery mode. I have replaced the battery but every time the mp3 starts up it is in recovery and I cannot select any of the options.
The touch pad is frozen apart from the scroll function. Has anyone else had this problem?

I jsut had this problem today while at work. It was working fine until my player started playing other tracks in the labum playlist randomly. Then the keys stopped working/partially working. I tried shutting it off with no luck. I too kthe abttery out and rebooted it only to be stuck in recovery mode. I can select the options but I still can't get out of recovery. My Micro won't connect to the Creative programs or my Windows Media Player.

Can I back up if my iphone 4s has frozen in recovery mode?

This might be a dumb question but before I restore factory settings is there anyway i can back up my data ? At the moment my phone is frozen on the itunes screen and itunes (on my PC) is saying 'detected iphone in recovery mode. You must restore this iphone'
I stupidly have not backed up my phone since buying it in May.

Ipad frozen in Recovery/Restore

Bought my ipad 2 today....was syncing with itunes, pushed the bar to stop syncing on ipad after an hour.....then itunes said ipad in "recovery" and I had to "restore"---pushed the button and now it's frozen with a picture of an apple. Someone...PLEASE HELP!!! What can I do to get my ipad going again?

I purchased the software update 2.0, which has frozen my i pod touch in recovery mode!
I tunes will not recognize it to allow me to try to recover. I have spent seven or eight hours trying all the various recommendations (starting restarting, removing and reinstalling i tunes, holding down various combinations of buttons for various lengths of time, differing USB ports etc etc etc
My computer recognises (in device manager) an apple mobile device in recovery mode,
tried starting restarting in services.......
Getting fairly desperate!!!

My ipod touch is frozen in recovery mode

I disabled my ipod and tried to put it into recovery mode, it worked but in the middle of resetting my ipod the screen froze. I am not sure what to do to get it off of that screen.

Placing your device into recovery (DFU-Device Firmware Upgrade) mode:
Follow these steps to place your iOS device into recovery mode. If your iOS device is already in recovery mode, you can proceed immediately to step 6.
   1. Disconnect the USB cable from the iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, but leave the
       other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
   2. Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds
       until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to turn off.
              * If you cannot turn off the device using the slider, press and hold the
                Sleep/Wake and Home buttons at the same time. When the device turns off,
                release the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons.
3. While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to the
       device. The device should turn on. Note: If you see the battery charge warning,
       let the device charge for at least ten minutes to ensure that the battery has some
       charge, and then start with step 2 again.
4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen.
       When this screen appears you can release the Home button:

HT201263 iPod frozen in recovery mode after an update

During the latest OS update there was an error and the device froze in recovery mode. I tried the recovery process several times but no result. Nothing will fix it or get my iPod out of recovery mode. I tried every suggestions I could get from these posts. My device is no longer recognized by Windows or iTune.
I am out of ideas.

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iPod fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- If still not successful that indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

I attempted to upgrade 4.2 software.. message came up update couldnt be completed.. iphone now displays itunes symbol with a USB plug image. Iphone is now in recovery mode and does not resapond. Now recommends i restore, but i have no back up... please assist??

My iphone4 is frozen in recovery mode

I went to update my iphone and it said i needed to connect to itunes. I connected it and it is frozen, Itunes will connect, but will say error after an hour of loading. I tried the tiny umbrella program, but it will not download to my computer.

IPhone frozen in recovery mode and won't restore through iTunes.

I tried to download the software update ios7.0.4 through itunes, and now my phone is frozen on the blue itunes icon with the image of the plug. I've recovered it several times through itunes, which completes the restoration then tells me the iphone should restart. But when it restarts it goes back to the same blue itunes icon.I have also made sure my itunes is updated, my security is not problematic, restarted my computer several times, and restored through a different computer. All the information I can find tells me to recover through itunes. This is not working. Please help?

IPhone 5 stuck in recovery mode. Not recognized in iTunes for Windows

Hi,
My iphone 5 stuck during update to 8.2. It is now frozen in recovery mode, showing a 'connect to itunes' screen. The problem I have is that (the recently upgraded to 12.0.1) itunes is not recognizing my device. I have tried all of the suggestions here: iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch not recognized in iTunes for Windows, to no avail. I have not removed iTunes and reinstalled to test that, as I am concerned this will destroy the backups of my phone - which I will now desperately need once the phone is recovered.
Has anyone got any suggestions?

If you receive an error 3194 when attempting to restore your iPhone, I would suggest that you troubleshoot using the steps in this article -
Error 3194, Error 17, or "This device isn't eligible for the requested build"

Zen micro stuck in recovery mode

Hi
zen micro frozen in recovery mode and i downloaded new firmware on to my pc
but it wont even open im at a loss at what to do any help much appriceated

Have you tried to reset it using a pin of some sort? Or something sharp? Or try taking the battery out and put it back if it doens't have a reset button. It'll do the same thing
WHAT TO DO AFTER:
I did have a problem like this though, and it seems to be common when in Recovery Mode.
Before connecting to USB, first open the firmware update (Don't connect it before hand). When it says to connect, do so, but not before, and then select Update.

My iphone is frozen in "recovery mode" and a restore cannot be completed because of "unknown error (6)". I really need help! I just got the phone for christmas, my parents are going to kill me if it can't be fixed. I think the problem may have to do with my updated software, 1.1.3..... HELP!

well i've basically already done all of those steps, i connect the iphone, itunes says it must be restored to work properly, then in the middle of a restore is tops and a window pops up that says "an unknown error has occurred (6)" and thats where i'm stuck. also the screen thats on the iphone is the end of the USB cable that hooks into the phone with an arrow pointing to an itunes icon.

I tried to update my iphone through my itunes and recieved an error message. The phone then became frozen on the conect to itunes screen and I can not use the phone. I tried to reconect to itunes but it does not recoginze my phone it just stays frozen.

Try recovery mode as described here. You may have to try to get into recovery mode more than once to succeed.
