When I plug my ipod nano into the computer i cant access the songs or play them because they have faded also i cant upload other songs from my itunes library to the ipod

Burning songs from itunes Please Help !! Help help Help!!

Is there a way i can burn songs right from itunes onto a jump drive ?!

or could i compress them when i burn them onto itunes so i could fit like more then 20 songs on a disk?!

You should just be able to drag and drop the songs from iTunes to the flash drive.
Unless your songs are in a lossless format (Apple lossless, AIFF, .wav), they are already compressed. You could always convert them to a lower bit rate (downsample) but you would lose sound quality.

TS1389 Unable to play a song in iTunes? HELP!!!

I downloaded a free EP off a artists offical website. However when i used itunes to play the songs all of them worked but one. Everytime i try to play it iTunes prompts me to authorize my computer/account. So i enter my Id and password, and am told my account is already authorized. I try to play the song and the same thing happens over and over!! I already tried all of apples solutions and none of them work.!

Having a similar problem. Bought three songs off iTunes. Two play fine. One prompts error message asking me to authorize the computer to play it. Then it says it's already authorized but won't play. If I delete the song on my machine, will I be able to download it again off iTunes free of charge?

VERY unstable iPod Nano (crashes every time in iTunes) plz help!

As I wrote earlier in this thread, the iPod nano I bought for my GF (and the one before that) suffered from the 'updater bug'. At least I know now how to revive it, thanks to the great tips of a few users here, but it's a nuisance that the nano(s) tend to crash every time I want to add some music to it via iTunes. Not to say it's absurd for a mp3 player in this category to have so many bugs apparently.
I looked up the computer's system log, and it appears it registers a 'disk' warning, logged as 'event 51' every time the iPod is connected to my notebook. If it's not connected, it never gives such a warning. When you click on the warning it states: "fault discovered on appliance \Device\Harddisk1\D during a file exchange operation". [NB: my OS is in Dutch, so I translated it as best I could, it may not be the exact text it'd be in English.]
What usually happens is that the iPod 'freezes' at the moment I manually add songs to it. Subsequently I get the familiar "use iTunes to reset your iPod" message on the nano's screen, and I have to go through the whole formatting/reset procedure again, as described in the other thread I mentioned above. I had some succes adding music with the 'auto sinc' option, but nevertheless, it crashed again when I wanted to update the music on the nano, still using the 'auto sinc'.
So every which way I want to add music, the iPod crashes! Only after a full format/restore operation it sometimes accepts music, but as soon as I want to add/update the music on the iPod nano again it crashes...
As said, this behaviour is very annoying as well as time consuming, and I'm on the verge of returning the iPod to ask my money back. But as it's a gift, I'd rather see it working like it's supposed to work.

- The nano is updated to V 1.2 using updater 2006-06-28 -
- iTunes is updated to V 6.5 -
- I use a Travelmate 800 notebook with Win XP Pro [fully updated except SP2]

Showing whole song on itunes (NEED HELP)

I'm currently am looking for a very long song name on itunes, I know it has the song but I don't know if it is the correct remix or not because it is not showing the entire song. I know it has multiple remixes on itunes because it is showing exaclty like this:

The third line is where it should show the remix but it gets cut off. Is there any way I can make this show???? I need help fast. And if anyone is a vocal trance fan the song is -Thrillseekers "Waiting Here for You" [Breakfast Remix]-
(BTW I am doing all of this from my ipod because my computer is currently borken.)

firstly, be a bit patient, these are worldwide user forums, the people who have a response to your problem may well be asleep/at work/school etc. or simply just busy. a few hours is nothing to wait for a response, if you have been waiting more than a few days then that is the time to 'bump' your problem up the forums. everyone on here is very friendly and willing to help, IF they know the answer or have suggestions they will let you know.
as to your problem, i'm not totally clear on what you mean.
you have a song with (what sounds like an incredibly) long title, which only partly shows up. (do you mean in iTunes or on your iPod?) i'll assume you mean on your iPod.
there have been several 'calls' for apple to implement a 'scrolling' feature for song titles, as there have been on previous iPods, and seemingly inexplicably not put on the ipod touch.
i can see how this would be a problem for you, and until apple bring in such a feature

the only real suggestion i can make is to put all the details you want to show up into the 'lyrics' box. then when the song is playing, you can tap the screen and it will come up.

Can't install itunes plz help

I tried to upgrade itunes to 10.5.2 , but some how it didnt allow me to install ,so i remove it completly from my pc.
when i wanted to install it again it shows me this next error:

Question. Does this happen when you open apps? Or just certain apps? Go to systempreferences and open sound. look in sound effects and see if it got put there. Does anyone else have acess to your computer? I think someone would have to get into your computer to do this. I've never hear of a virus doing that. But you could go to google type in macscan and download it. open and run it to see.

Wrong Songs on iTunes need help getting the correct ones.

I just purchased the album "The Ever Popular Tortured Artist Effect" by Todd Rundgren and two of the songs are different from the title of that iTunes has in the store. They are "Drive" which is playing as "Bang the Drum All Day" and "Hidawy" which is actually "Compasion" that is from a different album from the same artist. If you preview it on the iTunes store it is this way also. How can I get this corrected and either get a credit or the correct song?

The mac version of Premiere will not export as .wmv so I chose the only setting that would allow me said custom resolution and I intended to just convert the file once it was set.
The original source was .jpeg's and a .m4v video

Recovery Mode not recognized by Itunes PLZ HELP!

My IPhone 5S is in recovery mode but will not be recognized by Itunes? Any suggestion, i cannot simply reset my phone because i put it into Recovery because it was not restoring, the bar didnt move and hasnt moved at all for the past 2:30 hours. It was not being recognised by Itunes in the first place, then on i tried to reset it to factory default which did not work and was stuck. when i try to restart it just goes back to the loading bar which does not move at all. So i put to factory default and would not be recognised by itunes again, i have tried
1) uninstalling and Reinstalling itunes and apple support
2) Yelling at it with frustration in hopes it would work (Which obviously wouldnt work)
3) Restarting the Apple mobile support in the services of the windows pc and checking for updates for the itunes application
4) Updating the drivers for the IPhone in recovery mode but would not find any drivers to update with.
PLEASE HELP if i broke this phone my parents will KILL me. But i'm sure at least one person in the community would have a solution for my problem.

First Time Having Probem With iTunes Plz Help...

When i Heard about the new itunes i went to install it right away durring installation I get an error saying that quicktime cannot be removed...So i went to add or remove programs and tried to uninstall Quicktime but it wouldnt let me...So idecided to uninstall itunes thinking it might uninstall everythin so i can reinstall it properly...once itunes was uninstalled I went to reinstall it and I get that same quicktime msg...So now I cant use iTunes at all

okay. if it's behaving oddly like that, let's try the following technique.
Download and install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. then use it to clear any existing QuickTime installation configuration information from your PC:

1. On the Start menu, click My Computer (or double-click My Computer on the Desktop).
2. In My Computer, open Local Disk.
3. Open Program Files.

5. Navigate to C:\Windows\system32\.
6. Remove the files QuickTime.qts and QuicktimeVR.qtx.
7. Restart your computer.
now that all the old QuickTime has been scraped away, does an itunes install go through properly?
