Frustrated trying to print from Canon Pixma 9500

Does anyone have any tips for printing from Canon Pixma 9500?
I profiled the screen, printer and paper using colormunki.
Trying to print from photoshop. Frustrated that the printer interface isn't as described in many online forums (for example, it seems impossible to turn off colour management).
Getting strange blue borders around everything when using the paper profiles via colormunki.
Does anyone have any good tips?

I used colormunki to calibrate my screen, printer and to make a paper profile.
Read one site that suggested the strange blue borders are related to V4 vs V2 paper profiles...whatever that means. Apparently it is an issue printing from photoshop.

I got a PIXMA MG5320 (because my PIXMA MG6120 would not print from my phone or iPad). But now I am reading the fine print and am concerned by the warnings that it will not work with my MacBook Pro OS X 10.7.5
I have read that Canon has 'solutions' that can be downloaded, but I still have concerns that the printer's wireless functions will not work properly.
I do NOT want a printer that does not work properly with my laptop. Is there a different Canon (photo) printer that DOES work with a OS X 10.7.5 or higher operating system?

The MG5320 is compatible with OS 10.7.5. You will have the same printing and scanning options on this OS that you would on any other OS that the printer is compatible with.

Printing with canon pixma 9500 II

I have just installed a Pixma Pro 9500II printer to work with Aperture 3 - particularly in monochrome.
I can print, but I am not sure if I am using the menus correctly. I am printing on Ilford papers - and think I have installed, and am using the profile OK - but the printer only seems tp be consuming the grey ink, lraving the two blacks untouched.
My question is whether anyone knows on any good online user groups - or even bertter, good books on this subject.
Grateful for any help from the community.

It may be that your inks are old or gummed up. Open the top so you have access to the ink carraige. Unclip the reluctant inks and look at the window on one side. Full tanks will look full, partial ones will look as though the silver, horizontal bar (with a circle showing ink) has receded. You might replace that cartrige.
If gummed up, you need to remove all the ink cartiriges. Then on the right hand side of the carriage is a lever, pull it up from the front (gently). Jiggle it several times to clear any stuff. Replace the lever. Replace the inks. Print an ink test on scrap paper by pushing the second button two times. Or through the computer run a test page. Each ink prints out a rectangle of its color ... easy to tell if any are gummed up. Actually, you might want to do this first to see if gumming is the problem....
Now, for you a question: any idea why I cannot set the margins I want in Aperture 3 and not have the 9500 over ride them.

Have you ruled out an issue with the driver for the printer? It is possible that the material on the installation disk was developed prior to PSEv.12. I understand that everything is new, but who knows what the date of production is. You can check on Canon's web site for driver update.

I primarily print photos from Photoshop CS5. The term Page Set-up has gone missing in the file pull down menu. Can't make any choices There are no page sizes, paper types, appearsto be locked on a 13x19 size paper format. Either being too large or too small.
Saw a 2008 locked issue about this however none of the help fit my situation, options discussed are not available to me.
Preview has no "Page Setup" - or does it?
Does the constant struggle with computer compatability weirdness issues ever end or is it a enslavement scheme?

Hey,
if you know the name(s) of the root folder(s) you want to access (eg. by making a note on the Windows side) then you can make them appear by just doing Shift-Command-G in Finder ("Go to Folder…"), and entering the full path to the required folders. You can then navigate all the contents as normal.

Error message when trying to print from the Preview

When I'm trying to print from the preview menu I have an error message and it won't print. Anything to do with recent upgrade to OS Lion?

Hp officejet pro8500 a910 shoots out blank paper when trying to print from windows 10 installed firefox. Printer works fine from chrome and ie.

I am beta testing windows 10. I use both a hp laptop (dv77128nr) and a desktop (home made). I use a hp officejet pro8500 a910 printer.
When using firefox I get only blank pages while trying to print from within the browser. Only using firefox. Chrome works fine. IE works fine. If I boot to windows 7, firefox works fine. Can you help or should I report this to Microsoft?

Firefox isn't officially supported on Windows 10. For that matter, Windows 10 isn't officially supported either. This is most likely a problem between Firefox, Windows 10, and your printer's driver. Try updating your printer's driver and see if that helps. Otherwise, it might be a good idea to post this on Microsoft's forums as well.

First, try double-clicking your Home button. A row of recent Apps will line up along the bottom of the screen. Scroll across and look for the Print Center icon. If it is there, you should be able to delete any print job that might be hanging it up.
If you can access the internet, then you should have a good connection to a printer that is using the same WiFi. If you do not have your normal connection to the internet, then I suggest you unplug your WiFi router for a few seconds. Then reset the iPad's network at Settings-General-Reset-Reset Network Settings. You will need to reconnect the iPad to WiFi.

Unfortunately, the Kodak 5250 is not an AirPrint compatible printer.
Try installing an App like Print Central on the iPod to see if that might allow printing.

It is Oracle Application Server 9.0.4 on Redhat Linux when I'am directly sending the output to the printer.

Installed a Windows 8.1 update yesterday; now computer freezes when trying to print from Adobe Reader XI. Still can print a word document from MS Word.

Was already running latest version 11.0.10. Tried the re-load fix; tried uninstalling and installing a new one from the web. Problem still exists -- cannot print any document from Adobe Reader XI. Computer freezes when the print file is being prepared at 0%.
