Frustrating speed..can someone look at my stats?

Hi Ok i recently had alot of problems with the connection speed on my broadband (homehub3), so i called bt up and suggested the engineer should check the problem. He found a line problem and so he fixed it. But yet i am still finding it slow even though it has improved abit than the last time, but serioulsy it is soo frustrating that i can not even watch a video on youtube coz it doesnt load......which then it goes blury and then the sound of the video suddenly disappears. And im not sure why? He did say that i have to wait 10 day training period, but i am an impatient person...and also he said th average speed that im suppose to get is 16-19mbps.
And can someone tell me the difference between downstream and upstream?
And whats my average speed that i am getting?
Here are the stats:

  • HT201210 i am trying to update my wifes phone and something keeps crashing and it will not update.  this is getting frustrating.  can someone login to my computer and fix this.  i tried updating this on saturday morning and my wireless modem kept crashing

    i tried updating my wifes phone on saturday morning.  my wireless modem kept crashing and it restored her phone and it is blank.  i cannot get it to upload anything so the phone is useless.   can someone help

    No one on this user to user forum is going to log into your computer to help you. Why would you want a stranger in your stuff anyway?
    My suggestion is to take the phone to the nearest Apple Store and let them restore the phone for you. Then get your Internet problems sorted before trying to update any other iOS devices.

  • Slow speeds, can someone have a look

    hello, im getting really slow broadband speed at the moment. My sync speeds is still the same as it always is but my actual download speed is very very slow! Hi again.
    Unfortuantly the problem im having hasnt gotten any better at all.
    My Broadband is fine between 6AM and 10AM but after that painfully slow and sometimes unusable.
    Im also not the only person in my local town suffering from this problem.
    Is there any way for me to do anything about getting my local exchange looked at to see if theres a problem with conjestion.
    *EDIT also i did ring up BT's customer support but they were very unhelpful and just told me there was no problem and that theres nothing they can do for me

  • Can someone look at my crash report? Photoshop CC 2014 crashes when I go to print a file

    I am on a Mac, Mavericks 10.9.3, and have an Epson 3880.  I have deleted and re-added my printer, I have deleted and redownloaded its drivers, I have updated the graphics card drivers, I have signed in and out of Creative Cloud, nothing seems to work.  It's been going on since I've updated, except on a once in a blue moon occasion when I open PS CC 2014 for the first time of the day and try to print a file.... on these two rare occasions, it worked, I got my dialog box and was able to print my order (I am a small business, so this is exasperating!) but when I went to print a second file each time, I was right back to the whole program crashing the second I clicked the Print button (File > Print.... the word Print, I mean, not the action to print: I don't even get as far as the dialog box/window to click that).
    Here is the crash report just now so I can show what would have been sent to Adobe (I've sent dozens, so didn't send this one).  Can anyone tell from it what is causing my crash?  --

    Anyone know how to read a crash report?
    I can print with Lightroom, there is nothing wrong with the printer, or the file.  But I want to print with Photoshop without a crash.  Besides, Lightroom doesn't give me access to all of my print settings.
    Hoping someone can help, I"m exasperated.....

  • Can someone look at this (repost for attention)

    On the "Oracle Portal Navigator" page under the "Content Area" tab someone deleted the "Site" portlet. How do I add the "Site" portlet back to the page?
    I clicked on the customize page and tried to find the portlet to add but it is not listed. I then went to the portlet repository to see if it was expired or something but it was not there.
    There is a "Content Areas" portlet that lets you select the content area to go to, but the navigate button takes you back to the "Oracle Portal Navigator" page to the "Content Area" tab.
    The same thing happens when you go to the Admin section of a site and try to see the categories for that site. I can't edit my categories anymore.
    They point to "Oracle Portal Navigator" page showing the "Content Area" tab, which is no longer the site portlet.
    Any ideas?
    Jeff Dalgliesh
    PS I know its called the "Site" portlet because on A DIFFERENT portal server if I click the customize link on the "Oracle Portal Navigator" page under the "Content Area" tab that is the name it shows the Provider is "Oracle Portal" and the portlet is called "Site". IE "Oracle Portal: Site"

    Are you on the EA release? The production versions (3.0.6.6.5 and 3.0.7.6.2) specifically don't allow these portlets to be deleted.

    Either way, you can check whether the portlet instance exists by querying the WWPOB_PORTLET_INSTANCE_FLAT$ table. On the production release it is page_id=3 and portlet_id=23. If the row is not there, then you can reinsert it using the data from your other instance. The following statement worked on the production version:
    insert into wwpob_portlet_instance_flat$
    (ID,PORTLET_ID,PROVIDER_ID,PAGE_ID,REGION_ID,NAME,SEQ,USER_ID,INCLUDE,CONTENT_TYPE,CONTAINER_ID,IS_TAB )
    values

    Sorry about the table not displaying properly but you can see the record.

    Jeff,
    Well, the row is still in the table which makes sense I guess. The UI doesn't let you delete the portlet from the page. The question is why isn't it appearing? Do you have any more input into what activity was going on prior to the portlet disappearing? I'm assuming that the portlet doesn't show up on the customize screen at all correct? The only way I can get it to not display is by unclicking the checkbox on the customize screen, but then it still shows up on the customize screen.

  • Fairly new to cisco ASA 5505 - Can someone look through my config?

    Hi.
    Can some one tell me if I did the NAT part right? Both dynamic and static.
    To be able to reach one vlan from another I created a Nat between them, is this the right way to do it?
    I can still limit the access between the vlans based on the access list.
    I also getting slow throughput over the VPN tunnel. Is there something wrong with my config. I used the wizard to set it up. There is also a cisco asa5505 on the other end.
    If there is some thing else that seems wrong, please let me know.
    Any help would be greatfully appreciated!

    I was just wondering if this is the way to do the "connection" between vlans.. or should it be routed?
    The traffic between the vlan is working as intended. There are not much traffice only some RDP connection and some printing jobs.
    But i'm getting some of these errors: (not alle like this, but portmap translation creation failed)
    305006    192.168.10.200 portmap translation creation failed for udp src Vlan460-SuldalHotell:192.168.2.112/59133 dst Vlan490-QNapBackup:192.168.10.200/161

  • Need help.. can someone look at code..

    and tell me what is happening, or rather not happening and
    why....
    This is a neat clock that shows current time and zulu time
    with a disclaimer popup..... Would like to get it working to put on
    my site but can not figure it out.
    It is made up of two files.... first is the html file:

    Hi. I'm new to Java myself, but I've noticed a few things in your code..you have a bunch of methods inside the braces of your main method, which cannot work. Additional methods must be placed outside the main method, after the ending brace. But actually, if this is a secondary class and these methods will be called from a different class, which it looks to me to be, then you wouldn't need a main method at all. The class variables should go right after the opening brace of the class declaration and then the rest of the methods can be placed after those variables. Try this..
    public class Date
         int day;
         int month;
         int year;
         public Date(int day, int month, int year)
              setDay(day);
              setMonth(month);
              setYear(year);
         public void setDay(int myDay)
              day =myDay;
         public void setMonth(int myMonth)
              month =myMonth;
         public void setYear(int myYear)
              year =myYear;
         public int getDay()
              return day;
         public int getMonth()
              return month;
         public int getYear()
              return year;
         public String displayDate()
              return getMonth() + "/" + getDay() + "/" + getYear();
    Sorry it that's hard to read, I just copied and pasted it, but all I did was eliminate the declaration of the main method, the opening brace, and the closing brace (second to last one at the bottom).
    Hope this helps..Take care.

  • Screen doesn't look right, can someone look at my picture please?

    iMac, 24inch, 3.06Ghz, mid 2009 model
    Hi, I noticed this last night when i was watching a DVD, when ever the screen went dark a white 'spill' came especially about the edges. Is this normal or could it be a problem?
    The picture was taken in complete darkness with only the iMac providing the light. On the screen is a pure black background quickly made in photoshop.
    http://img138.imageshack.us/img138/6223/imacscreenblack.jpg
    Thank you

    I have uploaded a new screen picture taken under the exact same condition with the same camera and black image. As u will be able to tell, it has far more back light bleed, and the black is almost 10 shades lighter then it should be.
    I've had a good look at several other iMac's and pretty much all off them have a little back light bleed, but no way near this! When watching films at night the white bleed dramatically effects the quality of the movie. (This should not be the case, when I have seen cheap Dell Screen perform far better)

    My computer has been crashing A LOT recently. I really don't want to have to reinstall OSX, is there anything I can do besides repair permissions? What follows are the Problem Details from the report I sent to Apple. I should say that I was downloading with Transmissions while surfing the web, nothing heavy for my computer, when it just crashed -- again.

  • Can Someone explain the following statement in GSS Documentation

    I found the following statement in some GSS manual. Does it means that the GSS's should never be put behing NAT devices?
    " It should be noted up front that communication between the GSS-M to GSS Standby (GSS-S) and GSS-M to GSSs cannot be NAT’ed by any intermediate device. The reason for this is because the real IP addresses of the devices is embedded in the payload of the packets and the NATing device cannot properly NAT. "
    Is it true?
    Thanks
    David

    Yes this is true. What this means is that NAT will not work between GSS-M and GSS-S. So there should be no intermediate device between the two. If there is no NAT being used in the network, then there should be no problem.

  • Can someone look over my short code?

    Just move declaration of index out of the constructor. Then you'll have the declaration in the same scope where you are trying to access it.public class CList {
    int index;
         public CList(int d) {
              index = d;
    And how does that help where he allocates the array?
    I know you're trying to help, but as I've observed from this as well as many other posts by you, you're just way off. You're really doing a disservice here.

  • Can someone verify the attached XML schema

    I recently started working on XML and I am creating an xsd for the following sample xml
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
      <Student>
        <Student_Data>
           <name>John</path>
           <age>25</module>
           <Roll_No>1</coulmnname>>
        </Student_Data>
        <Student_Data>
           <name>mary</path>
           <age>26</module>
           <Roll_No>2</coulmnname>>
        </Student_Data>
      </Student> I created the following schema for the above XML
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
      <xs:schema xmlns:xs="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema">
       <xs:simpleType name="stringtype">
          <xs:restriction base="xs:string"/>
       </xs:simpleType>
       <xs:complexType name="CommonData">
         <xs:sequence>
           <xs:element name="name" type="stringtype"/>
           <xs:element name="age" type="stringtype"/>
           <xs:element name="rollnumber" type="stringtype"/>
         </xs:sequence>
       </xs:complexType>
       <xs:complexType name="student_list">
         <xs:sequence>
           <xs:element name="Student_Data" maxOccurs="unbounded" type="CommonData"/>
         </xs:sequence>
       </xs:complexType>
      <xs:element name="Student" type="student_list"/>
    </xs:schema>  Can someone look at it and let me know if this is the right schema for the above sample xml?
    I am not sure if I used the "student_list" in a right way.

    Are you doing this by hand? Don't. It's much easier to use a tool, e.g. XMLSpy, or an IDE plugin.
