Fscommand and swf in web browser not working

Hi,
I am trying to open one flash projector exe file from web browser swf file but it is not working.
When I tried calling the fscommand("exec", "myapplication.bat") and fscommand("exec", "myapplication.exe") from projector exe flash file then it works fine.
I just want to know the supportabilities of fscommand in as3 using Flash Proffessional CS5.
Please suggest.

The line that matters: None of the commands are available in web players.
On the web use ExternalInterface to run JavaScript on the page - not sure you'll have much luck with exec though.

E-mail and Web browser not working

Hi all:
I have a 8320 v45.5.0.81 platform 2.7.0.78 on the T-mobile network.
My phone is not currently receiving emails or I cannot access the internet via the web browser.
I can access via t-zones.
When using the web browser, I get the following message unable to connect to the internet, please try again later. if the problem persists please contact your service provider.
I tried removing the battery and reinstalling, it did not help
Any help would be appreciated.

Preview in web browser not working Captivate 7

Hello,
I've tried nearly everything suggested in previous posts. This is the message I get when trying to preview is web browser. Can anyone help?

Im gonna have to be honest here and say im not 100% sure what you mean? Internal Web server? There are 2 more machines that have captivate on them and they preview the content fine making me think its this machine that has a setting or somethign a miss.
Firefox works fine when browsing the web just not seemingly to preview the content of my captivate projects.

F12 Preview in web browser not working

Anyone got any ideas as to why the Web Browser preview n Captivate 7 is no longer working for me?
Running Ios 10.8.5
Firefox v24
Captivate v7.0.0.118
This preview worked previously and only in the last week has stopped working.
I dont believe any settings or anything have been changed, so any ideas would be greatly appreciated

Opening a specific page of a PDF through web browser not working with IE5.5

Hi,
I need an urgent help to reslove the problem below.
Using Netscape 4.7, When I am trying to open a specific page of
a PDF file through the web browser using the command below.
web.show_document('http://oraweb/abc.pdf#page=3','_self');
This opens the page 3 and then when I give subsequent calls to
this command with different page nunbers, it opens the related
pages correctly.
But when using IE 5.5, the page gets displayed correctly for
only the firt time. Any calls to the command does not change the
page at all.
Could anybody help me to resolve this problem ASAP?

Hello,
I think this is a problem of IE5.5 with PDF-Files.
You can find more information at acrobat web site
(perhaps there is a patch)
There is a setting in the reader where you can say that
the reader should start in the web-browser. Turn it off -
when IE starts downloading a pdf-file you can choose
acrobat reader for the first time.

Installed Leopard and macbook internal web cam not working

Istalled Leopard a few days ago and my internal cam (macbook) went dead as soon as it was installed. I have been reviewing discussions across the mac site and tried all of the following.
Updated to 10.5.1 and then 1.1, but to no avail. I also carried out all the other resets (battery out - held power button for 5 secs) and command / option P and R - but still not detecting the camera.
Please don't tell me it is a hardware problem as it was working a few hours before with Tiger and too many people seem to have the same problem.
I would be really grateful for any other ideas? ; o (

Did you do an upgrade? If so I would make a clone of your hard drive and do a erase and install. If that does not work then bring it in to the apple store to see if they can help.

Ps 3d and filters and save for web are not working the way they should

At work we just put cs6 on a w7 machine running 64 bit which has more than that required mem and or ram to run cs6 - unfortunately I have to use a windows based machine at work (cheapskates). Anyways. I see the 3d menus and the filter menu in PS but they aren't funtional. The filter menu drop down is there but Liquify is the only one that shows up the rest are gray. The option to choose 3d is also there but they are not functional (grayed out) - I took a look at some online tutorials on using the 3d effect in PS CS6 and Ive gone through it a few times and it still won't work for me. Also, in illustrator when I save for web - when I adjust the pixel dimensions and move the mouse over and click on the image that I am saving for web nothing happens and I'm completely boggled about how to get the image size to change in the save for web pane. Typically I am used to being able to input the the number into the pixel dimenion field and click on the image and the image resizes (on a mac you can either click on the image or hit return and the image will resize in front of your eyes!). I am unable to get this to work the way I am used to, this happens for me in both ill5 and ill6 on this piece of crap windows machine. Maybe I just need to reinstall? Maybe adobe has changed the way this works? Maybe a sledge hammer into this windows machine would solve all my problems!? IDK. someone help... help me... pleeeeaaaaaaaaaaasssseeeee

unfortunately I have to use a windows based machine at work (cheapskates).
This gets a "stupid comment of the day" medal. Seriously. These days Macs are just as convoluted and effed up as Windows was a few years ago - nice as long as everything works, but god forbid you have a problem. So by all means, update your graphics driver and be glad that you actually have that choice rather than having to wait half a year for Apple to fix it...

Safari web browser not working when the iPad is upgraded to ios 4.2

I have just upgraded my ipad 1 to ios 4.2. Now my safari browser will not stay on selected website...it just takes me back to the desktop menus. It worked perfectly before. If possible I will go back to original setting...but how?

The plug-in I have is Adobe Acrobat 8.3.0.280

After I upgraded to Firefox 5, I had the same problem and I did a work around temporarily. I went the tools menu, then Add-ons, then clicked the "Plugins" on the left side (4th one down). I "disabled" both Adobe Acrobat 8.3.0.280 and Adobe Acrobat 10.1.0.536 using the disable buttons on the right side. PDF files now open again. However they are outside the actual browser.
My guess is that Adobe didn't catch up yet with a new update to work with Firefox or vice versa.

See if you can find a NPPDF32.DLL files in the Firefox program folder (C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\)
You can see the installed plugins on the about:plugins page.

You can set the pref plugin.expose_full_path to true on the about:config page to see the full path of plugins on the about:plugins page.
It is best not to leave that pref set to true as it exposes that full path to web servers, so reset that pref to false after you are done with the about:plugins page.
You can open about:plugins and about:config via the location bar, like you open a website (about: is a special protocol to access some build-in pages).
If you get a warning when opening the about:config page then you can confirm that you want to continue.

That problem isn't related to Private Browsing specifically, that's how Firefox works with regards to multiple "sessions" with the same server - only one logon is allowed at any time. Try using one of these extensions to be able to run multiple session cookies.

I use firefox as my web browser not internet explorer and for some reason itunes says i am not connected to the internet when i am connected.

Firefox is a web browser not a homepage.
It sounds like you you have the old www.google.com/firefox/ start page that used to be the default homepage in Firefox before Firefox 4.0 sometime. It is not being maintained by Google anymore so either ignore the message or while in Firefox go to Tools->Options->General->Homepage section and change your homepage.

Basically,ctx.CurrentItem.ServerRedirectedURL is calculated by a managed property ServerRedirectedURL which needs to be included in the display template.

PDF Fast Web View not working in Firefox

I am using qpdf to convert PDF to linearized PDF files. The Byte requests are working on Chrome and Internet explorer but its not working on Firefox.
Firefox 18.0.2 (On Windows)
Adobe Acrobat reader - 10.1.4.38
Adobe Reader's (Edit > Preferences >)
Internet > Fast Web View - Enabled
Allow speculative downloading in the background - Enabled
Display PDF in Browser - Enabled
Using Apache x_send_file to render the files

What do you mean by not displaying properly?
I checked it on my computer in Firefox and it looks good.

Forward and Back when web-browsing

Can I program the Magic Trackpad so that I can touch it somehow to go Back and Forward when web-browsing, or must I click on the Back/Forward arrows on each web page? My Microsoft mouse had separate side buttons I could program to do this; much faster than having to go to the Forward/Back buttons and click on them to change pages.

I'm relying on memory here, but I recall that in System Preferences > trackpad > there is a one or two finger swipe to navigate forward/back. It works in Safari, not in the latest version of Firefox.
