Fsmailserver: memory full. Close applications and ...

Hi,
I am using 4 e-mail accounts:
Three imap accounts for which i am syncing e-mail every 15 minutes
One Mail for Exchange account i am syncing google calendar with
After a while (sometimes already after a few hours, sometimes after a few days) i get the error message “fsmailserver: memory full. Close applications and try again”. This happens whenever new mail gets in and whenever i am sending a new e-mail.
This N8, however, has plenty of memory left! When i close all running applications via the task menu and i also close the e-mail application, then restart the e-mail application, the error message is still issued. It also doesn’t ring the normal new-email sound anymore, but gives two short error clicks.
Very annoying because now i am not even notified of new e-mail any more when this happens. So that makes the N8 very unreliable for e-mail, which is one of the main aspects of a smart phone anyway!
I can only fix the error by switching the N8 off and on again.... But after a while it will happen again!

Sorry for the delay in telling you all about how to make ur nokia phone work extremely fast.Here it goes:-
1)Uninstall any Email App which you have installed its a load on the processor
2)Messaging,Options,settings,other,memory in use E:mass memory
3)Install Cleaner...App available on mobile9.com.Try googleing it up.
4)Install Swiss Manager Pro...Availabe on mobile 9.com n when ever you r free go to the files option on top right hand side...open C Drive,System,Dmgr n temp n del all the files in this folder your C drive memory ll improve drastically.
5)Deleate your browser history frm time to time.
TC all the tricks r well tested on my n97 mini.

hey guys im new here.
it seems my n95 no longer wants to sent txt messages rather it reports the error message in the title.
here is what ive got so far:
- memory reports as 108MB free on internal memory.
- inbox is virtually empty. sent items is empty.
- outbox is empty. reports is clear also.
- there are ZERO applications running verified by pressing and holding the menu key. music and photos are all stored on a memory card with nearly 2GB free.
- ive updated to the latest V20 firmware.
any ideas what to do next? is it recoverable?

N91 Memory full Close Applications and try Again

this is the error while i'm browsing, please help

The error indicates that there's no more working memory! Delete caches & other unnecessary files to free up memory. Re-install 3rd party app & move photos, music & videos to the hard disk not on main memory.

In that software all running APPLICATIONS LIKE WHATS APPLICATION . Online running APPLICATIONS could be eliminated by these software

this internet surfing as a cpu.so it wants lot of free memory space
in windows ce also same problems

Please let me know what OS you are using and the error message you get.
You might want to install the program by downloading it from www.adobe.com/downloads instead of the AAM.

N8 and fsmailserver: memory full. Close applicatio...

I have same problem than was reported in previous thread. The user solved the problem by erasing the email-widgets, rebooting tha phone and then recreating the widgets. I did the same, but the problem persists. It frequently says "fsmailserver: memory full. Close applications and try again (in finnish "fsmailsserver: Muisti täynnä. Sulje sovelluksia ja yritä uudelleen").
From Programs (Sovellukset) -> File management (Tied.hallinta) I see that I have 150M phone memory free.
Is this problem severe? Is there any way to get rid of this?

How old is your sim card? Your phone requests something also
from your sim card, so this may be worth checking.

N8 and "fsmailserver: memory full."

Hi,
I have this problem with otherwise perfect N8.
It frequently says "fsmailserver: memory full. Close applications and try again (in finnish "fsmailsserver: Muisti täynnä. Sulje sovelluksia ja yritä uudelleen").
This happens when i use e-mail. According to Y-tasks, there is a plenty of memory left. 106 MB RAM and 150 MB in C-drivve.
What could be the problem?

Memory full: Close some applications

I own a 701 running Belle Feature Pack 1, updated 4 months ago.
The update gave me a nicer battery life, though I have a strange application with the name 'aknspasrv' that is constantly running in the background . I got to know about this from the battery monitor app.
Also I'm a hardcore multitasker on the phone, getting back to the point...after more than about 36 hours of my device booting up if I try to launch any sort of application (even messaging) the system says that the memory is full and I have to close some apps and try again (even text messages wont be sent) closing applications doesnt work at times, so I have to restart the phone. Whereas I've tried using more than 15 apps like maps, browser, gallery, file manager, etc. all at the same time running in the background before the update and it worked just fine.
Please help...

I have exactly the same problem with my 808 Pureview. Memory is running out in random situations, it has nothing to do with the amount of programs open.
I'll just encounter a problem with some app launching, and then I get notification: "Idle: memory is full. Please close applications and ... " something like that translated from finnish.
I recently made factory reset to my phone, and problems with the memory seems to disappear. But I still have that 'aknspasrv' open in background applications.
Please Nokia Support, give us a a answer. What is that mysterical aknspasrv app? It seems to suck all life from my otherwise excellent phone!
EDIT: I just contacted Nokias support via chat. They said that "aknspasrv" is not Nokia application. So it is probably some 3rd party software.

E6 Problem , Calendar: Memory full .close some app...

hi all , from few days i am facing this problem when i open my Calendar : memory full.close some applications and try again ,
and in the phone back ground there are no open application , i restart my phone many times and same problems
i update my phone firmware to the new firmware update Symbian Anna 025.007
and same problem exist , what to do?
i need an urgent reply because this is my Business phone and some many meetings in my Calendar

Software or even hard reset perhaps is the only way for a quick solution/fix, but first back up using for example Outlook using Nokia Suite or Funambol.
Not a nice problem you having here.
PS Are you using the phone to connect to a server with the built in file manager or do you use for example Whats Up DS

Messaging Problem Nokia N95 - Memory Full, close a...

Hi,
I'm having problems with messaging. When attempting to send the message "Memory full. Close applications and try again" appears - although there is no issue with the phone or card memory and are pretty empty. The message sits in the outbox and no matter how many times you try to send, will not allow.
At first I removed the SIM card, clean and replaced and this did work the first time. It no longer works at all now. Does anyone have any suggestions or experienced this before?

So have you checked that your memory is not FULL?
Go to the File Manager and then select Options Memory details (for the Phone Memory) do you have free memory?
Have you installed something that may be running in the background (like a theme or something else) try to use one of the default themes.
Have you cleaned (deleted) the internet cache for the browser?
If all fails you may need to do a hard reset and clean your phone completely of all installed things and downloaded content. Then try it (before you start loading your stuff).
Phones have a limited amount of resources and can get full very easily without you knowing. Programs use the Phone memory to store temporary files that never get deleted. DRM songs also consume memory even after you deleted the songs, etc.

Whenever i am shutting down the computer,every time it is showing " force to close the application" YES or NO.If we click on YES,it is closing the application and shutting down.
Even i have checked, none of the applications are running but it is showing force to close the applications.If we click on Yes,it is shutting down.
Please let me know how what are the checklist to be checked in the computer before shutting down the computer.

Method one:
You could use the command to force shutdown:
1. Open the command prompt with administrator.
2. Type shutdown /f /s /t 00
3. Press Enter.
It would shutdown the Windows immediately.
Method two:
Create a shortcut of shotdown that would work immediately
1. Right click desktop， select New-> Shortcut
2. Type as below:
3. Click Next and then create the shortcut name to finish it.
4. You also could pin it to taskbar as other application(optional).
Every time you need to shutdown the computer, run this shortcut.
Method three:
You could add an entry to registry to change this behavior. For more information, please refer to this thread:

How to "close" applications and not use data

Is it possible to "close" applications so to not use any data/internet at all, for example with safari?
Or is it when you click the "home" button, it closes?

Technically, yes.
All apps once activated remain techincally open but suspend themselves when navigated away from.
The email app however, lets say you go in, and it starts the manual checking of mail. If you leave it, it will continue with that check until done. Then stop (but check again if you set your mail settings to check on an interval).
Other apps, suspend themselves.

My new Macbook Pro 13 keeps minimizing full screen applications and sending me back to the desktop. Any Help?

I can't stay in full screen applications without being returned to the desktop within 30 seconds. Is anyone else experiencing this problem or can assist
I am testing it without running any applications other than safari in full screen. It act like it is "swiping" me back to the desktop screen. I am not touching my trackpad or keyboard.

Is message storage on phone memory or card memory?
If using phone memory you could try changing to card memory.
Menu > Messaging > Options > Settings > Other > Memory in use
Then change the setting from Phone memory to the name of your inserted RS-MMC.

I have only older versions of AW, and some old progs.
On XP and Vista when opening AW, message "not enough mem"!!
Trying to locate .rec file, no sucess.
Anyone a clue?

N70 Memory full (its not)

My n70 is now about 21 months old. I've got about 1600 sms messages in the inbox, 700 in a custom folder, and 900 in sent messages. I've started to find that my n70 aborts opening applications (even the 'inbox' or to write a text message or something. It says memory full close applications and try again.
I've checked and I have space on the phone memory, card memory, and ram. I don't have other applications running in the background. What could be the problem? Noone seems able to help. I upgraded the firmware then restored the phone-to-memorycard backup I made previous to upgrading to get all my settings back etc. The problem still remains.
It happens intermitantly but has come from nowhere to now cause me to have to reboot at least couple times a day normally since after rebooting the phone it's fine again. But it's so annoying I'd like help before I have to change phones!
All people say is oh ... no memory? close other applications and free some space on the drive. But like I've said, no other apps are running and both phone/card have space and the ram is mostly empty according to fExplore. Is it just cos my mail data is so big now? Over the 2M of ram the phone has?
It looks like I'm about to upgrade to an n95 but sadly that only has 2m ram too I hear there is a nice 8G drive n95 coming out which may hve 20m of ram not 2m, but I can't afford to wait for that (or pay for it probably) :/

Hmm so it really is the messages then? Great. Since the n95 Iplan to replace the n70 with also has only 2m ram I think? Whyyyy?

Not only cna I not see custom folders, but I appear to have too many messages for it to handle
