FTP-Clients compatible with OES-PureFTPd - remote-home-feature

Hi folks,
I'm searching for Windows FTP Clients which are compatible with OES-FTP-Service (OES11SP1) and which support the remote-home feature. Until today I have only found filezilla (only in cygwin-Servertype configuration) which can handle a remote syntax like \\edir-servername to switch to another fileserver in the tree without any problems.
Do you know any other ftp-clients for windows which support that remote-feature?
Cheers, k.

  • Is Oracle 8.1.5.0(Client)  compatible with windows 2000 professional ??

Server is 8.1.7 and client is 8.1.5
    DSN is giving a problem.
so i believe is win2k compatible with 8.1.5?
    ur comments are welcomed.

My guess would be that since 8.1.5 predates Windows 2000, it's not certified on that platform. If you have the installation guide that comes with your 8.1.5 CD, the installation guide will have definitive information. I don't recall at the moment where old Oracle documentation goes to die.

  • Is RH7 client compatible with X4 server ?

I am evaluating RH7 (client version) to see whether we should
upgrade from X5. So far, I am very happy with the new features
especially being able to open more than one topic at a time.
We create a combination of WebHelp Pro and HTML Help
projects. Currently, we publish our WebHelp Pro projects to the X3
server version on a Windows 2000 operating system. I find that,
when I open a project that I generated with RH7, the bookmarked
text does not open. Also, some topics appear with the message: Page
cannot be found. I'm assuming that the problem is that we are
publishing a RH7 project to an X3 server version on a Windows 2000
    operating system
We have the X4 server version, but we haven't installed it
because of the Windows 2000 operating system. If we upgrade to
Windows 2003, can we use RH7 (client version) with the X4 server
version? Or, do we need to purchase RoboHelp Server 7?
    Thanks,
    Liz

If it did Liz I'd suggest it is wrong. Just like once you'd
upgraded a RH6 project to RH7 you can not go back, because of the
changes to the HTML code and the Unicode support, if you have RH7
only RH Server 7 can be used for WebHelp Pro output as only that
version understands the underlying HTML and Unicode support. I did
check this recently with Adobe before responding to a similar query
    from another user.

  • Iphone bluetooth compatible with 2007 Toyota Tundra bluetooth feature

I had a Motorola Razr that was compatible with my new Tundra, but I haven't been able to link my iphone and Tundra as of yet. Any suggestions?

I would check the Lexus website to see a listing of compatible phones. I own a BMW and found that the iPhone was supported before buying it. I too had a negative experience with the Treo 700w which didn't like to play with the BMW bluetooth profile. It was nice to see that Apple and BMW certified iPhone before it was unleashed to the public.

  • Windows 7 client - compatible with BPC 5.1?

We are running BPC 5.1, SP8. One of our users bought a new laptop which came with Windows 7 installed.  We are having difficulty installing the BPC for Office client (getting a message that "you are not authorized to install BPC for Office" even when an administrator tries the install).
Can a Windows 7 client be used in a BPC 5.1 environment?
If so, how can we get the software installed on the client?
    Barb

    Hi Barb,
As you understand, there is no option currently. Nevertheless, I requested you for BPC 7.0, since it is under SAP support. The OS on a system can be changed without any hassles. The user can definitely go with Windows Vista and this will be very well supported by BPC 7.0. So, changing the OS in a system is not big a challenge. However, we should have the support from SAP for our versions of product, which is not available for 5.1 anymore. Thats the reason I requested you to go with 7.0. BPC 7.5 is scheduled to be released somewhere in June or July.
    Hope this helps.

  • Linux chat clients compatible with iChat Audio

I have a friend who has Linux. What Linux clients are there that he can use so we can do audio chats, with me using iChat, of course?

Their Should be no problem with camera compatibility it is merely a video feed coming in to iChat that has been correctly converted. How ever I have no knowledge on AIM. I would try a Google Jabber account. Try this http://www.google.com/talk/otherclients.html it works on a lot of platforms and has good video quality. Best of Luck.

I drive 2013 Accord Coupe and was using iPhone 5 until recently.  No problem with the compatibility.  Just upgraded the phone to iPhone 6 Plus, pairing was successful but vehicle does not display the text receiving.  I was searching for some answers but not found a conclusive one yet.  I would like to know if someone has the same issue.

  • Is the iPhone 3GS compatible with Motorola DECT 6.0 Bluetooth Home Phone?

I have reception problems in some rooms in my apartment. I know that other cellphones are compatible with this motorola's home phones, so you can leave the cellphone in the room that you have signal and use the bluetooth connection of the cellphone with the motorola's handset so you can have reception in the bluetooth coverage area.

If you are able to pair the iPhone at all with the Motorola, it is compatible. If you "have reception problems in some rooms in my apartment" note that Bluetooth "coverage area" only includes line of sight distance. Bluetooth is not rated to penetrate any intervening solid objects such as walls, doors or even bodies (living, dead or undead).

  • SB-Messaging and service bus DLL within BTS seems not compatible with Cloud

I am trying to retreive a message from a Queue in azure service bus. The receive location gets disabled after 5 seconds of enabling it. The error message is :
The receive location "rlFromFireQueue" with URL "sb://muazure.servicebus.windows.net/firealertqueue" is shutting down. Details:"System.InvalidOperationException: This client is not supported for a partitioned entity. The client version
should be greater or equal than version '2013-10'..8653aa96-4c37-4ee1-8be8-52f2e9702ee0_G2_G2 ---> System.ServiceModel.FaultException`1[System.ServiceModel.ExceptionDetail]: This client is not supported for a partitioned entity. The client version should
be greater or equal than version '2013-10'..8653aa96-4c37-4ee1-8be8-52f2e9702ee0_G2_G2
I had the same exact issue when I was using an old .Net console application which was using microsft.servicebus.dll version 2.1. I downloaded the 2.4 azure sdk and ran setup. After replacing the reference in my console project to the new version I was able
to send messages to my queue.
My BTS box is 2013 R2 (upgraded from 2013), I checked the directory C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft BizTalk Server 2013, I noticed that the Microsoft.ServiceBus.dll in this directory is version 2.1 which according to a thread in blog is not compatible
to a new property introduced since last summer ( clients will be updated to support partitioned entities) when creating a new queue using Quick Create.
So my question is : How can I update the SB-MESSAGING adapter to use a new version to be compatible with this improvments in Azure or more clearly is there any config or procedures to be done to make the bTS 2013R2 adapter compatible with Azure service bus
    partioning feature
For your reference, here is the url for the blog where I found the information
    http://mindovermessaging.com/2014/06/21/service-bus-queuetopic-partitioning-not-supported-in-biztalk-services/
    Thanks in advance

I'm afraid you wont be able to update the SB-Messaging adapter because the partitioning option is not supported.
    However you have an alternative:
You can try using a WCF-Custom port with netMessagingTransport binding. This should be tested, because I'm not 100% sure it supports the partitioning feature. However all necessary features are working because we are using this setup at a current integration
    project.
Also be sure to check Paolo's blog for all the necessary information regarding configuration and setup: http://code.msdn.microsoft.com/windowsazure/How-to-integrate-BizTalk-f0195690

  • Which oracle client works with both Oracle 11.2.0.2 and BizTalk 2006 R2

    Hi there
My Oracle11.2.0.2 is installed on linux server. My Biztalk2006R2 is installed on Windows Server 2003 R2 x64. I have already installed BizTalk Adapter for Oracle on the Biztalk server and now require to install Oracle Client to make Biztalk able to retrieve data from Oracle11.2.0.2 using the oracle client.
    From the following link,
    http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa559822%28v=BTS.20%29.aspx
I came to know that the only oracle clients compatible with Biztalk adapter for oracle are as below:
    1) Oracle client 8i
    2) oracle client 9i
    3) oracle client 10i
Now I need to install an oracle client on biztalk server in order to make biztalk talk to oracle and retrieve data from it.
Question1: which of the above clients should i install on biztalk server that is compatible with both Oracle11.2.0.2 as well as Biztalk server 2006 R2?
Question2: How to install and configure this client to make it work correctly?
    Please help.. thanks.

The Biztalk Adapter interface with Oracle software has information, requirements per referenced document that does not make sense.
E.g. "10i" does not exist and the requirement "Oracle ODBC driver 9.2.0.5.4" means that only 9.2 Client can be used. (Mixing parts from one Database Client product version with another version is not allowed/supported/certified.)
Btw, does that machine happen to have Itanium hardware? (probably no, since you stated x64)
For Oracle's OS requirements, 2003 was certified with/from 9.2.0.3 (and likely also terminal patch set version 9.2.0.8). Not sure about Server 2003 R2, 32 or 64-bit. I'm pretty sure 10.2 was certified on 2003 R2, but the note likely refers to 10.1 versions (before it was known it would be labeled 10g, g for grid replacing the i ).
This FAQ may have some more information: http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/database/windows/faq-100614.html
For Oracle client - server interoperability and certification, there's a support matrix on MOS. See doc id 207303.1.
It seems 9.2 is supported on the wire to operate with 11.2 server, but Client with at least patch set 9.2.0.4 is required.
So, I guess best bet is to find updated requirements.
If you manage to get hold of 9.2.0.5, after verifying that 2003 R2 is ok, then it looks like the puzzle could be put together for a complete picture.
For ease of install, take a look at the Instant Client. (However, there's no 9.2 IC, that type of client install came later)
    http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/database/features/instant-client/index-097480.html
    Edit;
some corrections, specially about 9.2 version

  • FTP client which supports NTLM through WSA

We are looking into a FTP Client which supports NTLM in combination with
    our WSA proxy servers.
With IE or Firefox browser it works fine.
    Currently i.am testing Filzilla version 3.3.4.1 "http://filezilla-project.org" but i can't
seem to get it to work.
On the internet there is not much information available.
Anyone have expierence with FTP clients?

Have contacted support and they gave me the following information:
You should be able to use the Filezilla FTP client along with NTLM authentication. The settings for Filezilla would depend on
    the below factors & settings:
Using Native FTP Proxy on IronPort
    1)      Check the Native FTP port and authentication mechanism configured on IronPort under:
    a.       GUI --> Security Services --> FTP proxy
    b.      Check the Port and authentication format
    2)      Based on the authentication format, you would need to configure settings as the below knowledge-base article:
    a.       http://tinyurl.com/nvbt5r
Using FTP over HTTP CONNECT in Filezilla
    1)      You can configure this in Filezilla under:
    a.       'Edit' --> 'Settings' --> Generic Proxy --> HTTP 1.1 Using CONNECT method
    2)      In this section you can specify the NTLM credentials  in the below section:
    a.       Proxy Username (DOMAIN\username) and Proxy password
So i tried the native ftp option with
Ironport ftp port 8021 with checkpoint auth.
    In filezilla under FTP Proxy,
    Proxy host %ipaddress%:8021
    Proxy user %domain%\%userid%
    Proxy pas  **********
Then i get following in Filezilla log:
    Status: Using proxy IPADDRESS:8021
    Status: Connecting to IPADDRESS:8021...
Status: Connection established, waiting for welcome message...
    Response: 220 FTP Server message!!!
Command: USER anonymous@domain\[email protected]: 331 User name okay, need password.
    Response
    Command: PASS ***************************
    Response: 530 Login denied
    Error: Critical error
Error: Could not connect to server
So i think the following part goes wrong:
    Command: USER anonymous@domain\[email protected]
If i have the correct solution i wil post it here!

  • How do I start download stuff of internet ? ftp client include

    HI,
I am a total linux newbie.
I just installed archlinux, I want to download packages now, Ill start by configuring a apache server.... Is there a ftp client included with arch linux ?? If so, how do I run it?
    Thanks

You're the only one who can force yourself to learn linux. We can stand upside our heads and run around screaming and yelling, but that won't help. It helps to get things of your chest once in a while though!
The only obstacle to 'learning linux' is you. First lesson: learn to google. Second lesson: learn to use the resources offered by Linux itself (any Linux distro, for that matter: man pages, help arguments for commands). Third lesson: consult distro-specific documentation before asking. Misfit138 will personally take offense if you don't .
Initiative (or lack thereof) is what will (or won't) turn you into a Linux user beyond dabbling level.
