Hi Narendan,
if you read the question 14 (Q: Which memory requirements does the File Adapter have? Is there a restriction on the maximum file size it can process?) in this note 821267 - FAQ: XI 3.0 / PI 7.0 / PI 7.1 / PI 7.3 File Adapter , shows that the size restriction depends about several factors, i recommend that you read it.

Yes, sound stupid, regarding test environment, but in reality, is not that much:
-I do have "preprod" environment, (2 instances RAC) same releases of OS, OCW,RAC ... but DB size is 40 GB!!! It has all the objects as production, but (again but) it does not have physical standby, as production has. This is not that unusual, knowing that production DB grows very fast, and very large, and business do not want to keep preprod, dev, test databases same HUGE size as production is. Savings ...
-My DB upgrade depends if application running on top of it is certified for higher RDBMS release ... looks like they have some problems.
-Very encouraging sounds comment that DB upgrade does not depend that much of the DB size ...
- i do not recall from where this info came, but I have heard that R 11.* treats PDF files in different way that R10 did it ... and because of that, process of upgrading big databases which have many items of that type (pdf) can take very long. Any idea about this?

Can you monitor how much space the site takes up?

I'm building my website and I don't have server space yet. Before I buy some, I want to know how much space my site would take up on said server.
I'm probably going to host my videos elsewhere, but I have a lot of photos on the site and I don't know if iWeb automatically reformats them to be smaller files. If it doesn't, those pictures will add up.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Publish the site to a folder, and then check how much space the folder takes up in the Finder.

Let it do the rotating thing for about 10-15 min. If it is still doing this, try wiping the phone in iTunes.

You will get a service replacement ,maybe new maybe refurbed to new standard
but in a "brown box" so no bits and pieces just unit for unit exchange
They will know of iPhone history from their systems but always
worth having proof of ownership but not essential (as far as I know )

i recently read a post by someone claiming that tiger took 18.5gb on there ibook, and some one replied saying that apple claims you can install tiger in to 3gb.

I've got tiger in ok, running fine - bought family pack and have done 3 installs without problem, so that's the good news ....
I did a major reshuffle and toss-out of files before I installed - bought 80gb mobile external hard drive - and did install with 5+gb free, so after it had about 3gb free, then all of a sudden I went down to less than 1gb
I've been in a hunt for more files to throw out (a nice find were the old ipod updaters that were eating 500mb) ....
If I want to throw out most of the language files (for instance) ... where are they ? (I did search for danois and found nothing, so .... buried ?)
any other suggestions for things to throw away .... I've pretty much eliminated 90% of all things classic, for instance ....
and - do you have ideas for why space seems to disappear so fast .... I'm not doing anything special, but wham, 2gb flies away to ???

XServe G5 takes up to a maximum of 3 drives. You must use Apple's own Drive Modules. If you want to configure the internal drives as a RAID 5 (minimum of 3 drives required) you will need a compatible RAID Card installed.

Lyrics are just text files, so I doubt they take up much space. I have both lyrics and album covers on mine, and no storage problem. In fact, I've also got the full text files of "Adventures of Sherlock Holmes" and "Journey to the Center of the Earth" on mine. Sherlock only took about 500k for the WHOLE BOOK.
So don't worry about running out of space for lyrics...

Apple will exchange your iPod for a refurbished one for $199 for 64 GB 4G and $99 for the other 4Gs. They do not fix yours.

I am just curious how much cold temperature can an iphone 5 endure? here in my town, 4'c is normal in daytime and 0'c at night and dampness present in my room all the time which cause my cell phone display black and unresponsive.

Cold will make a lithium ion battery drain more quickly than normal and can cause the phone to shut down. However, I doubt it's zero degrees in your room at night. If it is, you have bigger issues to worry about than your phone. Unless your phone is a tropical rainforest or has a constantly running hot shower or is a sauna, it seems unlikely that it could be damp enough to cause an issue. You may have a larger hardware issue. Consider getting the phone checked out by Apple.
I'm not sure I'd want to live in a town that only got 4 degrees warmer in the day than at night in the winter. Brrrrr.......
