FTP issues with DW CS5 that don't happen with an FTP client or MX
On a mac OS 10.6.4, using DW CS5 to login to an existing site using FTP. It connects fine but then all I get is a .txt file with a note indicating that FTP can't be used when Frontpage extensions are activated. I checked on my webserver status (at 1&1) and they aren't active. So I tried with an FTP client like cyberduck and all the files are there. Likewise, I used an old version of DW (think it was MX vintage 2002) and all the files show up server side just fine - (I just can't download the site due to version incompatibility so DW rejects it). Does anyone know what could be going wrong here? As far as I know the site was created by DWMX (think that was 2004). Thanks
I assumed that if I was using an older version of DW then it wouldn't download pages authored with a later version but I guess it's just code...
Yep - it's just text files containing HTML, CSS, javascript, and links to other files.
When using FTP through DWMX I see the server side of the site
You can see the files listed on the remote server?

I installed Mountain Lion so that I could sync my notes with my iPhone that already syncs notes with a specific email address I use for school, but during the install it automatically set up Notes to sync w the wrong email addy. It looked in Mail, which had 5 email accounts set up in it, and for some reason picked the only one that I no longer use because it is for a school that I no longer attend. How can I fix it so that it syncs with the correct email account for notes and calendar? There don't seem to be any settings available other than to check if you want to use the basic features. It also said during the set up that it was setting up 'find my mac' but if I look on the iCloud website there is nothing showing there for finding my mac.
At this point I feel like I wasted my money paying for this supposed upgrade. I got nothing for it but frustration. It even automatically set my security settings to allow only downloads from the Mac store so the first time I went to download something I had to stop what I was doing and go correct settings first. I feel like there should be a security setting to block downloads from the Mac store so I don't accidentally end up clicking the wrong thing and being charged.iCloud isn't syncing them on your phone. You simply added the email account to your phone and enabled calendar and notes syncing with the email provider, and the calendar and notes appear in the calendar and notes apps on your phone. You can do this with Gmail, Yahoo and other IMAP account. iCloud email is just another IMAP account, but syncs notes with Apple's iCloud server just as Gmail syncs notes and calendars with Google's server.
iCloud didnt' set up a non-iCloud account on your Mac. When you check Mail in System Preferences>iCloud, it only creates an iCloud email account. You can also add other email accounts to your Mac by going to System Preferences>Mail,Contacts,Calendars and clicking on the "+" sign on the bottom of the left sidebar. If you added these other email accounts to your Mac before you upgraded to Mountain Lion, these were simply maintained on your Mac after you upgraded. -

The illustrator drawings look fine with the pattern fills and when I bring the drawing into quark 9.1 they are still fine. When I print the quark file to lo res pdf drawing is still fine, but when I print to hi res pdf (press quality for print) the patterns disappear. I cannot figure out what the problem is.
just a note. Other textures and artistic fills work fine. It seems to be just the basic ones. I'm wondering if for some reason they may not be saved completely in my libraries?Its just a drawing in black and white with some basic graphic texture to show “dirt” The pattern consists of a bunch of small lines. I save the file as an eps. And bring it into quark. When I print from quark I say print to pdf as press quality. I don’t think the problem has to do with acrobat because I’ve never encountered these problems before CS5. These drawings have been around for years and all of a sudden they don’t work.

What method of internet do you have.. is this fibre install.. if so the TC should just plug in and use dhcp in router mode.. press and hold the reset and it will go back to router mode by default. -

HAVING A PROBLEM WHEN I PRINT A WEB PAGE WHICH IS MORE THAT ONE PAGE LONG. ONLY THE FIRST PAGE PRINTS TO SCALE...THE REMAINING PAGES PRINT OFF THE PAGE????HELP-IT IS DEFINITELY A PROBLEM WITH FIREFOX BECAUSE IT DOES NOT HAPPEN WITH SAFARI??Thank you for the response. I tried to fix the problem with some of the suggestions on that page, but none seem to work. I believe that is the only website that I'm having that problem on. I got to fooling with it a bit more and when I highlight the whole page and select to print the selected area, it actually prints the whole page then, but it won't do it as a default. I guess I can just do it like that from now on, but I thought there would be something in the settings that I could have changed. Thanks again for the help.

I have problems working with this website that I use every day for my work since the latest version of Firefox was installed on my PC (6.0.1) previosly I had 5.0 version and worked fine with no trouble at all

its a Real estate site and when i open the site and request a list of properties I need to check, the next page does not charge the info, only the header of it.cor-el, I started Firefox in the Safe Mode as recommended. It looked and worked fine. Same after I closed and reopened it. As suggested, I shut down and restarted and so far it is operating "normally." Pages open on the first try and the back button works just fine. The double headers are gone and all my Bookmarks are in place. I did not change any settings or stop any functions (add-on's, etc).
Hopefully this has solved the issue. Only time will tell. Thanks for your help. I also have a long list of other things to try from Safe Mode if the issue returns.

is there a fix for the screensavers that no longer work with Snow Leopard? some of the developers have came out with new versions, but a few of them have been abandoned by their authors. Is there a way to run those screensavers in 32 bit mode?

BPEL and BPEL PM do not have a good support for SOAPENC-Array: it would be very difficult to create such an array in BPEL or to receive it and manipulate it.
The (unfortunately very intrusive) work around is to change the WSDL of the service to use a XML type defined using XML schema. This is all the more painful that JDev 9.0.4 does not have strong support for complex types.
In general though, I would highly recommend this best practice:
1) Start by define the WSDL contract first
2) Then generate the server side skeleton to implement it
3) Use BPEL as the client to this contract.
By starting with the contract first, you make sure that 1) your interfaces are clean and coarse grained.
2) things like java objects, sessions, etc to not leak through the interface (which would be the worst thing that could happen because it would closely link the client and the server.
Sorry for not being more helpful. This will get radically cleaner in Oracle AS 10.1.3.

I am not able to play videos from YouTube, or videow posted on my blog, when I use Fire Fox. That did not happened before the 3.6.14 and allthouhg you informed us that with the 3.6.15 the problem will dissapear, it does not happen. Take into consideration that, with explorer, everything is running fine. I am a long time user o firefox and I donnot want to change. Please give me advise how to solve thiw problem. Is Location supposed to work on iPADs that don't come with Cellular capabilities?
Using the new iPAD mini 3, without Cellular - I have been unable to get MAPS to show my location.
I get a popup window which says "CANNOT DETERMINE LOCATION"
I very carefully went through every possible settings to allow LOCATION to System Services, Wifi, Messages, MAPS, Restrictions, etc.
I turned it all on, then powered down the iPAD mini 3, then powered it back up. I turned Wifi on.
Nope- not only does MAPS not be able to get my location, but FIND my iPHONE doesn't find it in the iCloud (all settings are correct).
And - Messages : I tried to SEND my LOCATION to another person, it said "locating" ... then the sending bar got about 7/8 full then hung... forever.
I thought LOCATION was supposed to work either from the WIFI or from the Compass ?? (when GPS is absent) Right? Wrong?
Is anyone else having this issue?
Otherwise FIND MY IPHONE will never work for the iPADs without cellular? (I hope I'm wrong.)

iOS 8.1, running on iPAD mini 3, 64gbiPads without cellular get their location information from nearby WiFi networks. So, WiFi has to be turned on. However, that data can be wildly inaccurate. It requires that the WiFi router be properly registered in Apple's database. If you live in, say Florida and are using a WiFi router then move, with that router to Alaska, it will be a while before that router is re-register as being in Alaska.
If there are no nearby WiFi networks, there will be no location information available. Compasses do not give location information. They give orientation and direction. -
Filter on a dimension with a fact that don't depend on that dimension

I have a logical column (fact1) that it is set as total for logical level for one dimension (dim1). (it doesn't depend on that dimension but i have to put it in a report next to that dimension).
If I don't filter the report the result is:
dim1 dim2 fact1
a x 1
a y 2
b z 3
b w 4
If I filter the dim1 on 'a' then the result is:
dim1 dim2 fact1
a x 1
a y 2
null z 3
null w 4
I don't want to see those 2 lines with null...
How can I achive that...
