FTPSClient - Error when trying to connect - java.lang.NoSuchFieldError:

I'm working on trying to connect to an FTPS server to pull over a file. I've managed to create a test application that works just fine, however when I try to put it into the main application (Spring) it fails on the connection and gives this error:

247        }What I'm not understanding at this point of where controlInput is declared? It seems like with that error it is giving, it doesn't know what this is and must get declared somewhere.
Is this a conflict with some other JAR file, as there is quite the list of jar files that is in this application.
Thanks, Michael

Solution: Delete all the build path and all under the deploy path - it must have retained some OLD jar files and was still looking at those...I did that and now it works just fine.

Why is writing a servlet is so tough ?
It seems it must be simpler. .. I mean I had to specify every last exception handling.
I mean compare these 4 lines:
    Class.forName(dbDriver);
    dbCon = DriverManager.getConnection(dbURL,"xxx", "xxx");
    Statement stmt= dbCon.createStatement();
    ResultSet rs = stmt.executeQuery(sql);
To the monster (in P.S.) I had to write, just for the thing to compile !!

    2) At the top menu, click File > Preferences (iTunes > Preferences on a Mac)
    3) In the Preferences menu, click the Advanced tab
    4) In the Advanced menu, you should see a button that says "Reset Cache". Please click this button.

The second error is related to "Errors during data cluster import from remote system":

I don't know if these two errors are related, but any help or suggestions will be greatly appreciated!!
    Thank you!
    Regards,

4.0 should be fine. My initial thoughts were on the script targetting a framework lesser than 3.5. Am bummed about the error cause in the line
    ClientContext clientContext =
    new ClientContext(client);
it just creates an instance of the ClientContext class. It should have nothing to do with permissions cause it is not even trying to connect to the sharepoint site. So it looks like it can't find the assembly. Can you place the asembly
under the Microsoft.Net\Framework folder of your machine. SSIS looks for custom assemblies in this folder on design time (Refer
    this) Worth a try hey!

Have you recently patched/upgraded? This sounds like there might have been a problem relinking the executables / libraries, and/or a permissions problem. For example you may be referencing a 32 bit library with your 64 bit client.
I believe I recently read a similar case - check Metalink for this symptom.

  • Keep getting sync service error when trying to connect my iphone 5S.

Keep getting sync service error when trying to connect my iphone 5S. It freezes itunes and I can't do anything else. I see that there is an update for my phone and I need to back up, upload new apps, etc before installing. I plug my phone in and get this error every time. I am using a Win 7 SP1

    Howdy Susie48825,
It sounds like you are getting an error that mentions the sync services when you connect your phone to your computer and so you cannot sync your device. I would use the troubleshooting from the following article that  mentions an error regardign the sync services named:
iTunes for Windows: "Unable to load data class" or "Unable to load provider data" sync services alert
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ts2690
    Start with these steps:
    1. Check that iTunes is up-to-date
Ensure that you have updated to the latest version of iTunes.
    2. Reset Sync History
Resetting your Sync History is a simple step which may resolve some syncing issues. If this works, iTunes will prompt to Merge or Replace the information on your device when you next attempt to sync. To reset your Sync History:
    Disconnect your device.
    Open iTunes.
From the Edit menu, choose Preferences.
    Click the Devices tab.
Click the Reset Sync History button, and then reconnect your device.
If this resolves the issue, and you know all of your contacts, calendars, bookmarks and notes are on your computer:
Reset the Sync History again using the steps above.
Select the device in iTunes and click the Info tab.
Scroll down to the Advanced section, and under "Replace information on this iPhone/iPad/iPod touch" select Contacts or Calendars.
    Click Apply.
If the issue persists, and you know all your contacts, calendars, bookmarks and notes are on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch:
Remove all of the contact and calendar information from Outlook.
Select the device in iTunes and click the Info tab.
Scroll down to the Advanced section, and under "Replace information on this iPhone/iPad/iPod touch" make sure Contacts and Calendars are not selected.
    Click Apply.
There are additional steps to use in the article if needed, but these will get you started.
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.
    All the very best,
    Sterling

  • ORA-12560: TNS:protocol adapter error when trying to connect

hopefully somebody can help me out... the problem i'm having is connecting to the scott/tiger database. i keep getting :

    thanx,

You can run the net8 assistant to set up your tnsnames.ora file.
    start/programs/oracle/network administration/net8 assistant
When you are done it should look something like this:
    ORCL =
    (DESCRIPTION =
    (ADDRESS_LIST =
    (ADDRESS =
         (PROTOCOL = TCP)
         (Host = )
         (Port = 1521)
    (CONNECT_DATA = (SID = ORCL))

  • Why do I keep getting a connection error when trying to connect to SQL?

    Environment:

I have these two files located in \\jboss\server\lc_oracle_cl\lib
    sqljdbc.jar
    sqljdbc4.jar
I was told all I needed to do was drop these two files in the directory above and restart JBOSS. Is there something I'm missing?
    Jesse

    Hi Jesse,
The driver you are using is for SQLServer Database. Since you are using Oracle as your database, you need an oracle driver. Please copy ojdbc6.jar from the [installDir]/lib/db/oracle/ directory and try again.
    Thanks,

As poorem suggested, I would check that the time is the same on both the identity and vcac appliances.  It has been a while since I posted this question but I believe that did get me past that specfic error.  I changed the timezone on each and made sure the times were correct and the same.

  • Sql Server Web Edition Reporting Services errors when trying to connect to Windows Azure SQL

I am using a preconfigured image from the Azure VM Gallery to create a VM.
    --> Sql Server 2012 SP1 Web running under Windows Server 2008 R2
After configuring Reporting Services I get the following error when trying to run a report that connects to my Azure SQL db.
An error has occurred during report processing. (rsProcessingAborted)
An attempt has been made to use a data extension 'SQLAZURE' that is either not registered for this report server or is not supported in this edition of Reporting Services. (rsDataExtensionNotFound)
On the VM using SSMS I can connect to the Azure SQL db.  On the VM in Report Builder when I define a connection I get a similar error to the one above when I test that connection.  I am using Microsoft Azure SQL as the data source type.
Interestingly in Report Builder, if I proceed past the connection definition, I can see the tables from my Azure SQL db in the dataset definition page.
One more note.  If I use a different image from the Gallery (Sql Server 2012 Standard SP1 on Windows Server 2012) my report builder connection works and the reports run fine.  I believe that the Azure documentation says that Sql Server Web edition
is an acceptable choice for the SSRS on VM for reporting.
    Any thoughts or suggestions?
    Thanks -- Tom Reilly

    Hello,
A VM with SQL Server 2008 R2 or 2012 supports all Reporting Services features, including all supported data sources, customization and extensibility, and scheduled report execution and delivery.
Did you run the report in Report Manager,or preview the report in Report Builder? Which version of the Report Builder you installed in the Windows Azure VM? SQL Reporting does not support reports created from Report Builder 1.0 or 2.0. You can create reports
using Report Builder 3.0 and then upload the reports.
What's more, please also check the database source credential of the report.
    Regards,
    Fanny Liu

    Hi there,
When trying to connect to an administration in synch manager, an error appears: SBO Error #-111: Failed to Connect to SBOCommon

    Hello Andy,
Can you log in to this instance of business one normally?
Did you set the username and password to connect in the synch manager?
Have you recently changed the users password?

  • I keep getting an error when trying to install Java for OS X 2014-001

I was trying to download this because I was getting errors when trying open some applications saying you need Java 6 and it directed me to the download link for this but it always gets and error when installing.

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad and start typing the name.
    Select
              /var/log ▹ install.log
from the log list on the left. If you don't see that list, select
              View ▹ Show Log List
from the menu bar at the top of the screen. The contents of the log will appear on the right. Each log message begins with a timestamp. Select the messages from the time of the last installation or update attempt. If you're not sure when that was, click the Clear Display button in the toolbar of the Console window and then try the installation again. Select the new messages that appear. Copy the messages to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. Paste into a reply to this message (command-V).
☞ If there are runs of repeated messages, post only one example of each. Don’t post many repetitions of the same message.
☞ When posting a log extract, be selective. Don't post more than is requested.
☞ Please don't indiscriminately dump thousands of lines from the log into this discussion.
☞ Please don't post screenshots of log messages—post the text.
☞ Some private information, such as your name, may appear in the log. Anonymize before posting. You may need to use a text editor with search and replace, such as TextEdit.

  • '500 Internal Server Error' when trying to connect to Music Store

Does ANYBODY at Apple CARE that I've been writing posts for 2 WEEKS trying to get an answer to the reason why I can't connect to the Music Store? This is absurd!
Since upgrading to iTunes 6.0.3 (and now 6.0.5), I get a 'Music Store termporarily unavailable' message. I have the same PC, OS, and ISP that I've used to buy hundreds of dollars worth of your music - but since upgrading - I'm dead in the water. Norton is set to PERMIT i-tunes - but I get the same problem with Norton turned OFF.
When trying to connect to the Music Store via the following URL: phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/storeFront
as suggested in other posts, I get a "Error 500 Internal Server Error" - which according to my ISP and Microsoft is on APPLE'S Server - not my end.

Check whether your DBControl or ASControl service is still running or crashed. EM is not able to connect to the Management Server.
For instance in Windows, you may see that the Servise is not started. Then check for error logs in $ORACLE_HOME/sysman/logs for any related error messages in the log files
