FTR_EDIT Reverse Cash Flow Issue

Hi,
We are trying to reverse a cash flow on FTR_EDIT, but are receiving an error that there is "rest stock" and the reversal cannot be completed. The flow we are trying to reverse is due the same day as the final repayment so when we choose to reverse the payment it will also pick up the final repayment. Has anyone had this issue before? Prior to coming to FTR_EDIT, we reversed the F111 document that the payment created, and went to F8BW to reverse the payment request. Are there any additional steps that we need to take in order to reverse the payment or is there something different that we need to do since the payment and final repayment are due the same day?
Thanks for all of your help!

    Hi
We have developed a Cash Flow statement through report painter report. This has been used for quite some time. However, after the ECC6 upgrade, the report is  out by a clearing A/c amount which has a zero balance.  I canu2019t find how its picking this.
    Any suggestions?
    Thanks

In addition to applying that note, you also must deactivate Lightspeed rendering.  To me that's too extreme of a thing to do just to get paginators.  You loose the huge rendering performance improvements and it also means you can't use any of the new UI elements from 7.01.

  • Why can not reverse the single cash flow ?

    Hi.
    I've created loan number using t-code : fn1v.
    I've posted different cash flow.
I'd like to reverse specific interest amount using t-code : fnvm.
    but it didn't work.
    sap pop up the message.
    ============================================================
    Diagnosis
A planned record is preventing document 44959 in company code HPT from being reversed.
    Procedure
Delete or post the planned record and continue with the reversal.
    ============================================================
So i deleted all plan cash flow's data registered by fn8c or fn8x.
    after that it works well.
I checked it out thoroughly. I found that it is impossible to reverse when it is included plan cash flow's data registered by fn8c or fn8x
why is that? Could you explain?
    thanks in advance.

    Hi,
you can reverse the specific interest amount by using Tcode FNM3, provided you have not made clearing. In that case you have  to reverse clearing & then use TCode FNM3.

  • Unable to edit cash flow in Interest Rate Instrument

    Hi Experts,
I am facing a strange issue while trying to change Cash Flow in Int. rate instrument.
    Scenario:
I am trying to edit a flow in FTR_Edit and system is allowing me to change most of the flow. Please see below:
But if try to change the very next flow on the same date i.e. 960.93 USD Edit Flow option is NOT coming at all. Please see below
These flow has NOT been posted to accounting still.
Any one has any ides/suggestion why system is behaving like this.
    Cheers !
    Adi

    Hi,
basically changes in the cashflow are exceptional and for circumstances, where you have postings after the flow(s) you want to adjust and you cannot reverse these postings because of closed periods etc. This changes in the cashflow do not change the interest condition(s) itself.
If you have more than 1 interest period and the interest rate of the future periods are not known yet, you should use a Reference Interest Rate (e.g. LIBOR) instead a fix one in the interest condition. Then you are able to use the fixing-functionality (TI10 or TJ05) to get the interest rates into the deal.
Of course you can use fixed interest rate, too - in this case you need 1 interest-condition per period and have then to adjust the interest rate (which initially cannot be 0).

  • REFX - LEASE IN - CONTRACT CASH FLOW ERROR :

    Dear Experts,
I have an issue with REFX - lease in scenario.
For a  ( RECN) RENTAL/ CAM contract we have filled all the required details correctly. ONE MONTH POSTINGS also done correctly FOR cam charges.
But now Cashflow is showing as “CAM CHARGES PAYABLE” ( reversal entry ) in simulation mode which is not expected.Due to this we are unable to make the postings.Attached screen shot FYI.
Can any one suggest to do needful. Kindly treat this as a priority issue.
    Thanks,
    N.S.Rao

    Dear N.S.Rao
    In your case, When your condition has been changed unit price or period, Cash-flow can be re-generated according "Assign Reference Flow Types" configuration as below ;
    Relation                        Description                                   FlowType        Ref.FlowType
    10           Follow-Up Posting due to Condition Increase               ZXX1                 ZXX2
    20           Follow-Up Posting due to Condition Decrease             ZXX3                  ZXX4
so , If you want to control this re-generated or re-calculated condition item, you can configure this IMG.
Go to RECACUST >> Conditions and Flows > Flow Types > Assign Reference Flow Types.
and also, for your information, you can check 'Balance amount for your contract" according to use "Contract Screen >> Overview tab >> Account Sheet". then you can see entire financial document not only contract related posting but also customer/vendor and clearing document.
Many kinds of Financial Functions already applied to "Flexible Real Estate module" as a sub-functions.

  • Product type 56A-Posn cash flows Sec Acc Class-Calculation stops after 2017

    Hi All
I created product type 56A with a security class ID repaying finally in January 2020 & with interest conditions of 5.5% throughout. But I see the position cash flows in FTR_EDIT for that product type only showing interest flows till 2017 instead of till 2020.
Is there anything that I need to do to get this calculated till repayment date?
I checked my calendar & it is active till 2050 for the currency USD.  My company codes local currency is USD.
    Thanks
    Regards
    Morgan

    Hi All
This reply may not wholely relate to your issue, but we faced similar issue with Securities - Debentures, we had created the transaction till 2020 but the we were able to see the flows only till 2014, later when we checked with SAP, they gave us the solution that under following config we need to maintaine blank or zero in the field CM period (Cash Mgn.), then it worked.
    The path is
    IMG->Financial Supply Chain Management->Treasury and Risk Management->Transaction Manager->Securities->Master Data->Product Types>Define Company Code-Dependent Settings for the Product Type.
Also we had to run tcode FWUP for the particular transaction and then check with tcode TPM13 to check whether flows exits.

  • Remove/delete duplicate cash flows on facility

    Hi all
Due to a error in SAP std, for a facility a number of duplicate commision flows are created when drawing a contract against a facility. The issue is solved with the implementation of SAP note 1389873 so no more duplicates are created.  Is there a way that I can remove/delete/reset a spesific cashflow manually?  I would like to avoid to have a it removed directly from the table(s)

    Hi,
OK, since SAP given solution for avoiding creation of new flows, it should work with change mode of transaction as well. Try to reset the flows in trasaction if the flows are still scheduled. You cannot seperate flows with same date & update type from activity posting/marked as posting. TBB1_LC can be used for marking flows as fixed. Also, there is a function for reversing flows from Cash flow tab of transaction for money market products. Please check that as well.
And finally, the possible solution will be reverse the entire transaction and create a new one instead.

  • Doubt in Cash flow Statement Query

    Hi all,
In FI module i am trying to create query 'Cash flow statement' using infocube 0figl_c01.
For 'cash inflow' i restricted to debit postings for G/L account char. with two account number (200602 & 200611 as given by finance dept.) But the values are not matching as it extracts all the entries which come to that account for the posting period. But my requirement is to take only the entries related to document type 'DZ - Customer Payments' (for which there is no char. in the infocube or in the R3 Extractor).
How to solve the issue. do i have to create a generic data source and change the infocube?
    Thanks,
    Prakash

    Hi Vachan,
    Thx for the reply.
The entries in the InfoCube is correct. Is there any other method by which i can solve this problem. Because changing the datasource and InfoCube is tedious at this time.

  • Cash flow related

    Hi all,
I need to create a set of interest rate instruments (TM_51), but first I need to display a consolidate report that shows all the flows (cash flow tab of TM_51) that are going to be created in order to validate if there is enough budget to support the interest rate instruments that are going to be created.
In order to achieve that, I would like to know if there is a function or bapi that simulate the flows of an interest rate instrument before I created it?.
    Regards,
    Eric
Edited by: Eric Hernandez Pardo on Jun 26, 2008 1:05 PM

    Hi all,
The function "ISB_DERIVA_CASHFLOW_CONSTRUCT" resolved my problem, you only need to provide the information about Invst, interest structure, repayment stucture and contract conclusion and it returns all the flows. One thing you should know is that the transaction field RFHA must be fill to avoid a dump in a method call inside this function. You can fill it with "/INTERN/" to avoid this issue.

  • Creation inpayment agreements and cash flow to a loan account in banking

    Hi,
I am using bapi "BAPI_BCA_INPAYMENT_AGR_CHANGE" to create inpayment agreements and cashflow to a  loan account. It is updaing inpayment agrrement and cash flow table properly but the issue is it is not updating the first screen of the cashflow tab in loan account. This screen contains Cash flow key figures and Dated final payment.
Please let em know the solution to update the cashflow screen with bapi.
    Thanks in advance

    Hi Shoban,
I am also trying to use the BAPI BAPI_BCA_INPAYMENT_AGR_CHANGE but get a messge back saying I should Open Brackets for the Contract.
How did you get past this error?
Did you manage to get the cash flow to re-calculate?

  • Cash Flow Template Set Up

I am trying to set up a cash flow template using GL Accounts (not cash flow line items). In making the Cash Flow Statement some items should show up as a negative and some should show as a positive Eg: Cash from receivables + and Cash to vendors - . However every items I enter in comes in as a positive, which makes the reports give bad data. I have tried using the sign reversal checkbox, and this does make the amount display as a negative, but it does not make it sum as a negative.
Is there something I am doing wrong here ?

    Using ver 11
Thanks for the replay.  So, ok. Sounds like I can kind of do what I want, but not sure how.  Can you point me to where this is talked about in the user guide.   I did look  but assume now, I somehow missed this info.  Both options are in play here.
I.e.  I'd like to apply PIP to an entire track.  Also same with the transparently effect.
Taking this to next obvious set,  would these technics work with all or most of the "canned" FX effects.
Again to be clear, what I have in this project is several jpegs on a track that I want to apply the same effects too.

  • Recalculate Cash Flow

    Dear SAP experts,
I am having a problem during simulation of LO Debit Position for
January 2008. Few LOs have been affected. Eg: LO rental end date is on
31.01.2008 but the Cash Flow only up to 31.12.2007. Means, to enable
execute LO Debit Position we need to perform the manual recalculate
cash flow for Year 2008 Eg: FO38>Extras>Recalculate Cash Flow>Save.
For your information, the Cash Flow for Year 2008 is not being
automatically calculated by the system. Our users are requesting for a
permanent solution as they do not want to perform the manual
recalculate cash flow. It is not practical for them as they have too
many lease outs. Furthermore it will affect their financial year and
ageing report for the respective customer.
What we need is to find out why the system is not calculating the cash
flow automatically and the solution, so that users do not haveto do it
    manually for the incoming years.
We appreciate if you could assist us in solving this issue so that our
users can perform their task happily.
We are looking forward for your reply and latest updates of this issue.
    TQ.
    Regards,
    Nazrul

I tried another option, run the report RFVICF00 (transaction FOVB) on a regular basis but is there any other option instead of manually run the recalculate cash flow via tcode FOVB? Or any setting in config (SPRO) to make it automatically recalculate the cash flow?
    Please help me.
    TQ
