FTWR File Size Worksheet no records shown?!

This is regarding DART (Data Retention Tool).
In FTW1A I extracted data. In AL11 I can see the data extraction file created in FTW1A. In FTWR “File Size Worksheet” no records are shown for the company code for which I extracted data in FTW1A. Does anybody have a clue what went wrong? How to get records shown  in FTWR?

The size indication you are looking at is probably for megapixels. You can see the actual filesize in Lightroom in the metadata panel if you set it to "all" but I don't think you can show it on the badge in the Library grid display. A 6MP 16-bit uncompressed tiff should be about 36 megs, so close enough..

  • How I calculate the flv file size whe I recording from camera and microphone?

    Hi all:
    I'm recording video from my webcam and my microphone.
    I would like to know how I can to determinate via some formula, approximately, the result file size due to camera and microphone configuration.
    I show you my actual configuration:
         // setup cam
        cam = Camera.get();
        // setting dimensions and framerate
        cam.setMode(320, 240, 30);
        // set to minimum of 70% quality
        cam.setQuality(0,70);
        // setup mic
        mic = Microphone.get();
        mic.setRate(22);
    Only ohert question:
    What enconders are using to encoder video and audio by default?
    Regards, Roberto.

    I'd say 9.4 mb is correct. Email attachments always put on a lot of weight, so 12 mb as an attachment is probably right too.
    Why don't you use a free service like Filemail? It's very easy to use, and you dont't have to sign up to use it.

  • PDF file size doubles when recording to CD

    XP Pro Sp3
    I have old PDF files that I am trying to burn to disk for protection.  The documents are one size but when I add them to the CD record program they show double the size.  Example this  document was 323KB in size but when placed in the recorder program it takes up 668 KB's
    This is the data from the file  323KB  8/2004  Application: PScriptd5.dll Version 5.2  PDF Version 1.3 PDF Producer: Acrobat Distiller 5.0 (windows) On the properties window under General is says it is blocked to help protect this computer.  I don't know what that means  I am using Adobe Reader 9.3 to
    read it.
    I am using Sonic Record Now version 6.5 as my record software. It came with the computer in 2004 I know it is old. Grin.
    I did multiple scans on it and it shows up clean.  Any ideas?
    Thanks
    Cel

    Hi there:  First I apologize I think I gave the wrong answer to the question about the issue being resolved.  You were right on the mark.  The issue has nothing to do with the PDF file but with the burning software miscalculating.
    Thank you for your time in replying to help me.

  • Premiere Elements 11 file sizes

    Premiere Elements 11 file sizes?
    I recorded small 170MB and larger 570MB videos with audio using HyperCam 3.
    Both load and play back in Windows Media Player (ver 12.0.7601.18150) without a problem.
    I can load and play back the small files in Premiere Elements 11 without a problem.
    But, when I load the larger file into Premiere Elements 11, only the sound track loads and plays.
    No video track and the preview screen is a solid black box on my monitor.
    Is there a file size restriction in using Premiere Elements 11?

    By the time I downloaded and looked at your sample video, I see that you and nealeh have worked out a workaround, that is, converting your Microsoft Video 1 (CRAM).avi (1920 x 1080 @ 10 frames per second) to H.264.mp4 (1920 x 1080 @ 30 frames per second.
    I was able to convert your sample video into H.264.mp4 (1920 x 1080 @ 30 frames per second using the free HandBrake program). All 11 minutes 52 seconds of the H.264.mp4 imported into Premiere Elements 11 without issue.
    In the case of these converters, we are dealing with changes in at least video compression, file extension, and frame rate.
    However
    The tests brought up some interesting questions
    1. When I ran your file through the gspot utility, the video codec was shown as Microsoft Video 1 (CRAM), but it listed Codec NOT installed.
    2. In spite of the Codec NOT installed, I was able to play back your video in Windows Media Player and VLC Player.
    3. Your Microsoft Video 1 (CRAM).avi imported with the complete duration of the file, but only audio, no video.
    Further
    4. When I ran my own Premiere Elements 11 created Microsoft Video 1 (CRAM).avi (30 frames per second, 11 min duration) through gspot, the video codec was shown as Microsoft Video 1 (CRAM), but it listed Codec NOT installed - same as yours.
    5. Yet, my file imported into Premiere Elements 11 completely (video and audio).
    6. I need to run a Microsoft Video 1 (CRAM).avi 10 frames per second, 11 min duration) to see if I get the same results as in 5.
    When you record your video, do you have the option of changing the frame rate from 10 to 30 frames per second?
    So, some of the questions that the remain for me
    a. Why is my Premiere Elements 11 created Microsoft Video 1 (CRAM) appearing to be different from the Microsoft Video 1 (CRAM) that you use in your file?
    b. Why is gspot telling me that the Microsoft Video 1 (CRAM) codec is not installed when I can use it in Premiere Elements 11 for the import and export of my own file?

  • Help on File Sizes?

    Hello again. So now I'm a proud new owner o a mini-dv camcorder, the oanasonic pv-gs35 and lovin' it. Never really learned how to use iMovie until now. Can anyone shoot out some numbers regarding file size? I'm thinking since I have an 80GB HD that's almost full, I may need another drive. So like, on a 60 min DVC recorded on SP, anyone know an approximately file size? also recorded on LP? Also, any way to keep the file size to it's utmost minimum?

    icebreaker,
    DV-format video takes up about 3.6MB/second. So an hour would be 13GB.
    I'd stick with SP. The slower tape speed will save you on tape but not really on disk space. Plus you'll have poorer quality.
    I think you'd be wise to invest in an external dive.

  • Help! Audio recordings are limited to a file size of 2 gigabytes.

    Hi, I have been having an issue with garageband lately. I record for about 10-15 seconds and I get this error message
    "Audio recordings are limited to a file size of 2 gigabytes. This recording has reached the file size limit. Recording will stop, and the recording up to this point will be preserved."
    I have no other tracks in the project and have over 100 gigs free space on my Hard Drive. I have unchecked the Auto Normalize Volume box however it made no difference. I have not seen any one else with this problem on forums. I have tried recording with the input jack, an external usb recording interface, the built in mic and for each of these I get the same message. I also had this problem with Garageband 10 so I upgraded to 11 with no luck and the same message appearing. I have called apple care and gone to the apple store and no one seems to know the solution. Can someone help? Thanks!

    I'm having the exact same problme, with a few more pop ups appearing to boot.
    I don't have a solution I'm afraid, but have found that just clicking OK (or cancel, depending on the pop up) will allow you to continue with your recording.
    Annoying as ****, but still workable.
    I shall endeavour to find a solution, and report back

  • File size Syndication

    HI
    I have a huge file being syndicated via automatic port - 120 Meg
    I takes 2 hours to generate the file, but when writing file to the port it seems to hang
    When the file is done manually it takes a minute to save after generation.
    I know it possible to set max. amount of materials during syndication, but this is not possible in this case.
    I have not yet tried to time the syndication for later, but i guess it will still be a problem with the time used to write to port.
    Any suggestions?
    max. File sizes?

    Hi Kurt
    Syndication process also means updating the last syndicated time in MDM DB for the records so that they are not considered for next syndication. I am assuming that you are using Suppress Unchanged records in the map.
    Updating the records will take time depending upon the load on MDS.
    Try to schedule this syndication in off peak hours, may be faster.
    Also you can try to reduce the file size(no of records) based on some filter conditions in the syndication map, but that will mean having multiple ports and maps.
    thanks-Ravi

  • Is the file size of a selected image shown on Adobe Bridge CC 2014?  If so, where?

    Is the file size of a selected image among the filter categories?  Or anywhere else? I know I can find it in Photoshop, but that is cumbersome.

    The file size is shown in the Metadata panel.
    You can not filter on file size but you can sort by file size.

  • The file size of selected file in input file control is shown as 0 for multiple file selection in Safari 5.1

    The file size of selected file in input file control is shown as 0 for multiple file selection in Safari 5.1. If you select single file, then it is able to return file size correctly. However, if you select multiple files, then the file size of each of the selected file is always returned as 0 from javascript. This works correctly in Safari 4.0 but it does not work in Safari 5.1.
    How do I get the correct file size in Safari 5.1 ?

    If you want to post (or send me) a link to the lrcat file, I'd take a look at it for you, and give you a break-down what's consuming all the bytes. But it might be fun to learn how to do that yourself (e.g. using SQL). I use SQLiteSpy, but other people have their favorites.. (or you can use a command-line client if you prefer..). One way: just run "drop table "{table-name}" on each table then look at filesize (do this to a copy, not the real thing).
    Anyway, it's hard to imagine keywords and captions etc. taking much of the space, since even if you had 1000 10-character words of text metadata per photo average that still only adds up to 117MB, which isn't a substantial portion of that 8G you're seeing occupied.
    Anyway, if you've painted the heck out of most of them and not cleared dev history, that'll do it - that's where I'd put my money too...
    One thing to consider to keep file-size down:
    ===================================
    * After reaching a milestone in your editing, take a snapshot then clear edit history, or the top part of it anyway (e.g. leave the import step), using a preset like:
    Clear Edit History.lrtemplate
    s = {
        id = "E36E8CB3-B52B-41AC-8FA9-1989FAFD5223",
        internalName = "No Edit",
        title = "Clear Edit History",
        type = "Develop",
        value = {
            settings = {
                NoEdit = true,
            uuid = "34402820-B470-4D5B-9369-0502F2176B7F",
        version = 0,
    (that's my most frequently used preset, by far ;-})
    PS - I've written a plugin called DevHistoryEditor, which can auto-consolidate steps and reduce catalog size - it's a bit cumbersome to use a.t.m. but in case you're interested...

  • Recording File Size issue CS 5.5

    I am using CS 5.5, a Balckmagic Ultra Studio Pro through USB 3.0 being fed by a Roland HD Video switcher. Everything is set for 720P 60fps (59.94) and the Black Magic is using the Motion JPEG compression. I am trying to record our sermons live onto a Windows 7 machine with an Nvidia Ge-Force GTX 570, 16 GB of Ram and a 3TB internal raid array (3 drives). It usually works great but more often now when I push the stop button in the capture window, the video is not proceesed and becomes unusable. Is it a file size issue or what. I get nervous when my recording goes longer than 50 Minutes. Help

    Jim thank you for the response. I have been away and busy but getting
    caught up now.
    I do have all drives formatted as NTFS. My problem is so sporadic that I
    can not get a pattern down. This last Sunday recorded fine so we will see
    how long it last. Thanks again.

    What are you going for....DVD-VIDEO Widescreen on DVD disc or AVCHD format on DVD disc?
    Are you doing your burn to disc with a check mark next to "Fit Content To Available Space" in the burn dialog?
    When you have the DVD 4.7 GB/120 min in the burner tray and are in the burn dialog ready to hit Burn, what does the burn dialog quality area show for Space Require and Bitrate with and without the check mark next to "Fit Content To Available Space"?
    Just in case mention....the DVD disc with the 4.7 GB/120 min in reality is 4.38 GB.
    The goal is to find out if you are overlooking the "Fit Content To Available Space" option in the burn dialog. Depending on the circumstances to be defined, use of that option does not necessarily mean a compromise in the end product quality.
    Let us start here and then move forward based on the details of your reply.
    Thank you.

    am i correct that this 'my photo stream' process is not removing any image data?
    Yes,  as long as you have iPhoto's iCloud preference pane configures as follows:
    You're be getting the full image file, pixel dimensions, etc. which is essentially a bit by bit copy of the photo on the Phone.
    When you add tags and other metadata and export the file out of iPhoto as a jpeg with the checkboxes selected to include that metadata there will be some image compression.  However, if one chooses High or even Medium JPEG Quality one will be hard pressed to detect any image degradation unless printing very, large prints or otherwise displaying the image at a very, large size.
    I ran a test on a 1.4 MB photo from my iPhone  and compared the original to two exports, one at High and the other at Medium JPEG Quality and got these results:

  • File Size Shown in Folio Producer

    Hi,
    Is there currently a way to see the entire download file size of an app in Folio Producer? If not, this would be a helpful feature in another version of DPS, especially with the increased folio sizes with the new iPad.

    I would suspect you moved the .mov file, but at some point in processing and saving things you have failed to note that the .mov file should be saved as a "self contained" movie, so that the actual movie content is left somewhere on your hard-drive. The .mov file will play on the computer, because it is pointing to the location of the content, which is accessed and used, but when you move (or try to) the .mov file, the content is left behind on the hard drive, and only the container is moved. Thus there is nothing TO play in the new location, there is just the container with no content.

  • Incorrect file sizes shown in Finder over NFS and permissions issues

    Hi there
    This is a problem that existed for me in Leopard and has not been resolved in Snow Leopard.
    I have an XSan with a Leopard server sharing over NFS and AFP. When I connect from a Leopard or Snow Leopard client over NFS the file sizes in Finder are incorrectly displayed. My Tiger clients work perfectly.
    Also, although it says I have read write access to the files over NFS I cannot save over an existing file when I make changes to it, I instead have to create a new version of it and remove the old one.
    Check the link to show a grab of one of the folders in question, the upper window is what the NFS shows me, the lower AFP. If you Get Info on the files over either connection the byte count is identical.
    http://www.the-9000.com/images/finder_anomaly.tiff
    Any info would be greatly appreciated.

    This is a problem that existed for me in Leopard and has not been resolved in Snow Leopard.
    Have you filed a bug report with Apple?
    http://developer.apple.com/bugreporter/
    If not, there's less of a chance they'll know about it and help fix it for you.
    Do things look OK from the command line in Terminal?
    It would probably be useful to use a tool like Wireshark to check out what each protocol is sending over the wire. That could at least narrow it down to being a client or server issue.
    Thanks
