Full 64bit program for Windows 7

This will most likely not be possible until CS5 since it would be a complete re-compile... but it sure would be nice to have a 64bit Premiere Pro and Encore for Windows 7 64bit

We now know that CS5 will be ONLY 64bit http://forums.adobe.com/thread/509373?tstart=0 so the only thing to wonder about now... is when?
General new release history is about 18 months... I personally think the rewrite to 64bit may take longer, maybe as much as 2 years
But, whenever CS5 is released, it will also be interesting to see if it has new features, or "just" a 64bit rewrite

I located a software removal utility for you but if you have other HP printers or scanners you may perform the more basica uninstall.

@MikeNTxs - 64bit USB drivers have been available since April of 2010, and they do work. I've synced successfully to my Vista64 bit laptop many times via USB.

Can you advise questions concerning 64bits Oracle 10g running on Window 64bits machine.
1) Is there any matrix to show servers certified for 64bits Oracle 10g
2) Any performance benchmark done for 64bits Oracle. Performance comparision between 32bits and 64bits
3) What is the certified window OS to run 64bits Oracle 10g? Will Window 2008 improve performance?
4) Any document to perform migration from 32bits 10gdb to 64bits 10gdb on window.
5) Is it possible to run 64bits 10gdb on 32bits machine? Let's production server is 64bits machine with 64bits oracle database software and UAT server is running on 32bits machine with 32bits oracle database software. Can we restore production 63bitsdb to UAT server? If can, how?

About 2008 I am not sure will it improve your performance or not.

IF can, how?It depends upon your policies, whether u are restoring complete cold backup, export/import, rman TTS.

A common question is, "should I get the Full Feature driver or the Basic driver?" The best answer to that is try the Basic, first if you want. Then, if you find yourself wanting more features, download the Full Feature driver.

Creating .exe program for windows

How can I create an executable program (.exe) for windows. I tried using Excelsior-JET compiler but it doesn't increase the efficiency of program. Is there some other standard method for creating .exe

Itunes refuses to recognise my ipad telling me that i need to uninstall itunes and reinstall the itunes 64bit version for windows - i am on windows 7 and all was working fine until suddenly for no reason at all itunes had some apple support error

I have windows 7 and all has been fine until 2 days ago when suddenly i turned on my laptop and i got some error message about some apple support program error - i didnt tkae notice of it only that i couldnt run itunes, so i uninstalled and reinstalled itunes and it now runs as normal, but now it wont recognise my ipad saying that 64bit version is not installed - WHAT RUBBISH IS THIS? i downloaded and installed the 64bit version from applie and yet the error persists - can some one please tell me how i can get itunes to recognise my ipad again - this seems like such a ridiculous error for these two apple products to be conflicting with each other - please help

well i have found that i needed to not just uninstall itunes, but also apple mobile device support, bonjour apple software update and apple application support - uninstall all these and then install itunes - that seesm to have fixed it, though now i am sync fail - that's a different matter perhaps

Cannot Install Latest Driver or Full Menu Program for Laserjet 400 m401dw

Running Windows 7 Pro (64 bit). Downloaded these files from HP: (1) LJ-M401-drv-installer-13198; (2) LJ-M401-full-solution-13198; (3) LJ-M401dne-full-solution-13067. Each time I ran any of the files, I got about 91% complete at the "preparing to install" stage and then got the error message that the installation encountered an error and I should reboot. I have now rebooted several times and still have not succeeded with installation of any of the files. I have disconnected the USB cable everytime and still none of the files will install.
There must be some kind of workaround but I haven't found it. Any help out there?

I hate to hear you are having installation issues. Please see the below steps that may resolve the issue. If you are still unable to install, a generic driver can be added to enable print functionality only. Here is a link that will provide steps for that, however be sure to select HP universal print driver PCL6 instead of 990c, if this process is used. Link
Installation steps:
1. Completely remove any printer components that installed on the PC (check programs/features, device manager, etc.)
2. Download and save the full feature software from Here
3. Run disk clean up and disable unneccessary start up programs through MSConfig (see steps below if needed)
3. Reboot PC
4. Temporarily disable firewall
5. Run installation from fresh download with new USB cable (do not connect USB to device or PC until prompted by software)
Selective startup in MSConfig:
HP and I are not responsible for any changes made in system configuration
1. Click start button
2. Type MSConfig in search, double click to enter
***If Normal Startup is currently selected, follow these steps:
Select Selective Startup, and then clear the Load Startup Items check box.
Click the Services tab, and then select the Hide All Microsoft Services check box at the bottom of the screen.
Click Disable All.
***If Selective Startup is currently selected, follow these steps:
Click the Startup tab.
Make a list of the items that are selected. You will need this list to reset your computer startup items later.
Click the General tab.
Clear the Load StartupItems check box.
Click the Services tab, and then select the Hide All Microsoft Services check box at the bottom of the screen.
Make a list of the items that are selected. You will need this list to rest your computer startup items later.
Click Disable All.
Click Apply.
Click OK. A new window displays. Click Restart to continue.
. Upon restarting your computer, the System Configuration Utility window displays.
Note: to return to normal startup or predefined selective startup, these will have to be re-enabled through MSConfig after installation completed. HP and I are not responsible for any changes made in system configuration.

Any time I try to run video's my browser gets stuck and comes back and tells me few minutes later that shockwave player has crashed. Its it the same problem everyone else discussing about 64 bit version of flash player?
Funny part is it works sometimes, has its days picked up.

Hi, I'm not clear on whether you are speaking of Shockwave Player or Flash Player. They are not the same. I'm sure you are aware that Adobe Flash Player does not at this time support the 64bit browser. You need to use the 32bit browser for Flash Player, which is the default browser in Windows.
You also mention "plug-in", which is used if you have Firefox or "other browsers" that Flash Player supports.
You may want to check in Programs and Features for Flash Player entries and see what you have listed there.
Also post back any other browser info.

How to learn Indesign CS3 SDK programming for windows

Hi, I am very new to plugin development.I am working in Indesign CS3 SDK (windows). But I am not able to write /understand the syntax of InterfacePtr. for eg : InterfacePtr<IClassIDData> orgDocFileHandlerData(doc, IID_ORGICLASSIDDATA); We get Pointer of any Interface , and pass some arguments . So can anybody help how to learn this programming , I am not finding any books or tutorials on this so that I can read from the basic. I have only referred to Programming Guide(CS3). It's only my way of understanding about InDesign SDK : * SDK objects are know as 'boss(es)' and are accessed thru interfaces. * You can imagine object as collection of interfaces. And you can even aggregate new interfaces to existing objects. * When you have a reference to an interface of a boss, you can access other interfaces (of the same boss - or object) using the *amazing* syntax : (here, doc is a probably an IDocument interface on a kDocBoss object, and you want to access it's IClassIDData interface) InterfacePtr<IClassIDData> orgDocFileHandlerData(doc, IID_ORGICLASSIDDATA); * And finally, InterfacePtr has a reference counter, which allows the framework to destroy the interface object - not the boss of course, only the memory used by the object - when it's non mre referenced. Anti Virus program for Windows Conversion

I am planning to put VMware Fusion onto my ProMac in order to transfer many of my former PC programs. Hearing that AVG was a very good Anti virus program, I e-mailed them about which of their products I could use. They informed me that they are not compatible to Mac, even though I'd be using it for my Windows conversion program. Does anyone have any recommendations as to what anti virus program works best in protecting my Windows conversion program on a Pro Mac?

I am not clear on what you mean by your "windows conversion program". If you are using Fusion... you will be running Windows. You should use whatever antivirus program you would feel comfortable with running on any Windows machine. While AVG is not the "best" antivirus program out there, it is considered an excellent free option. I have seen many test results that show acceptable performance. Without knowing the details of the internal tests conducted by David's company, I can't say if his results would reflect those of real world use (David... I'm not questioning your results... I'm just saying that without knowing more about the test... I can't take that as being anything more than someone just saying they tested it and it didn't work).
I am very against running any Symantec products on any of my systems (and I expect many here would agree). They tend to be resource hogs and very often cause more problems than they can fix. Kaspersky is considered on of the best "pay" antivirus programs out there and it's much more friendly on your system than Symantec's Norton Antivirus:
