Full Annual Membership to 12-Month Pre-Paid Membership

I'm thinking of joining the $30 Creative Cloud Full Annual Membership on the first year (since I have CS3) and switching to the 12-month Pre-Paid Membership (through Amazon) on my second year. I know that that the Full Annual Membership will be $50 per month after the first year, so I figured I can just pre-paid $600 for 12 months and not worry about it every month.
Are there any consequences if I go about this route? What steps do I need to do to make sure the transition will go smoothly? (Do I need to deactivate/uninstall all the Adobe products and contact Adobe to cancel the current annual membership? or Do I just simply input the new pre-paid product key?)

Hi there!
In your case, I'd highly recommend switching off auto-renewal once you've purchased your annual membership. You can make changes to your Creative Cloud subscription on the My Account page on Adobe.com: https://www.adobe.com/account.html Just click on "My subscriptions and services" in the far right column. Once your full annual membership commitment ends, go in and make sure your annual membership has fully expired and does not automatically renew. Then all you have to do is purchase your 12-month pre-paid from Amazon and make sure you use the same account information you used in your first subscription.
The only fee that you could encounter in this process is if you decide to cancel your annual memberships early: (taken from the Creative Cloud FAQ)
If you decide to cancel a 3- or 12-month prepaid membership purchased at a retailer or online store, you will receive a refund of 50% of the value of the time left on your membership. To cancel your membership, contact Adobe Customer Service.
To cancel a one-year membership, you can either go online to the Account page on www.creativecloud.com or contact Adobe Customer Service. If you cancel your membership before meeting the 12-month commitment date, you will be charged 50% of the remaining amount left on your contract.
So make sure your full annual membership does not renew after your commitment date!
After your annual membership expires or is cancelled, the applications you have installed will be deactivated and you won't be able to use them. You don't need to uninstall and reinstall them - you'll just need to enter your new subscription information in the Application Manager the next time you reopen the applications.

  • Re-install the adobe creative suite with my 12-month pre-paid membership

My laptop was restored to factory settings and basically completely rebuilt, and in the process I lost the adobe creative suite apps that I had installed. When I tried to use my membership access code to reinstall the apps, it said the access code had already been used. How can I reinstall them with the membership that I have already paid for?

    Hold on,
Have you talked to your carrier to confirm the unlock?
What was the procedure you did to unlock the phone?
Standard unlocking procedure once processed by the carrier:
    Backup in iTunes
Erase the phone (ignore restore terminology here)
Plug the phone to the computer and then launch iTunes
    Wait for unlock notification.
    Restore the backup.

  • TS3992 I have a pre paid Wi Fi with telstra for 12 months and yet I get the message of this I pad has not been backed up I have no idea how to back it up can you help. I have the same problem with my I phone withTelstra please tell me how to back them up

Hi I have an I pad 64 gig and internal wifi bought about 2 months ago. it keeps coming up with a message "this i pad has not been backed up" I have no idea how to do it can you help.
I also have an I phone 4s with the same message both are with telstra the I pad has a 12 month pre paid wifi contract and the phone is on a monthly contract.

Sounds like you actually paying for cellular service and you really need to be on wifi to backup your ipad/iphone.
Normally you have to be connected to wifi and you can do manual backup by going to Settings- icloud- storage and backup and pressing backup now button. Start with your ipad, usually size of the backup smaller and return here if you encounter a problem.

  • Failure of redeem code with pre-paid card.

I just spent $600 at Amazon to get a 12-month pre-paid membership in Creative Cloud.  After scratching off the layer on the back to get membership number, I entered it in at the "redeem" web page.  It failed with a 'The code you entered was invalid.  Please try again.  I did so multiple times, to no avail.  So what the hell am I suppose to do now?

Customer support will contact you to resolve the problem.
Please be sure you are entering the redemption code correctly - a number 5 versus the letter S, a number 0 versus the letter O.

  • Serious Payment problems | Pre Paid Annual CC Subscription | Refund

    Hello,
Earlier today I decided to get a Pre paid annual Creative Cloud Subscription. But I didnt know it would be such a nightmare.
I got through all the buying process and at the end, after inserting my credit card and billing information, the request kept loading forever. Tried twice, without success (With mastercard and Visa).
So i got in touch with tech support, that told me it could be some problem with my browser, and asked to try again on a different one. I tried again, no success.  So I called support again, that adviced me to create another user (Adobe ID) and try to buy another time. The error continued. I got no subscription working.
As i got in touch again they said all the requests got cancelled , and i wouldnt be charged,
But as I saw a while ago with my credit card administrator, I got charged several times a full year subscription. But its not working, not even one confirmation.
As the support are offline at this time, can someone at ADOBE Support  take a look and cancel/refund the other values in my two Adobe IDs. I Just need one Working subscription.
My Adobe IDs are [email protected] and [email protected]
    Thanks in advance
    Gabriel Bourg

  • Change from my Verizon pre-paid monthly to 2 year contarct with a second line

I currently have a pre-paid monthly plan plus extra 30 GB data for my iPad2. I want to switch to a 2 year contract with 2 lines and 2 phones, one of the phones I want to keep my old Verison number. Is this doable?

It shouldn't be a problem. Just contact Verizon's Customer Service line and ask that your prepaid account be moved over to a postpaid account.  They will be able to bring over your phone number and should credit the balance on your prepaid account to your new postpaid account.
You can either leave the iPad on prepaid, or add it to your postpaid account, or cancel it if you no longer want it. Then you can start a new line of service for the second phone.  Since you are starting two new lines of postpaid service, you'll have the option of signing a 2 year contract on one or both of the lines to get a discount on a new phone.  Or you can start the lines with your own equipment and not have a contract.

  • Urgent: I just bought 3 anual pre paid memberships for adobe creative cloud, with the same Adobe ID.

Hi I just bought 3 anual pre paid memberships for adobe creative cloud, with the same Adobe ID, I want to install each membership in one different computer, how I do it?

One Adobe ID can be used to activate any CC subscription twice. So you need to have three  different Adobe ID for each of the pre paid subscription so that they can be used.
If you keep the same ID for three CC, it will not activate the third time & ask you to de activate it from the previous one.
You can return two of the subscription & buy them under different ID.

  • I'd like to cancel my annual membership

    Hello Adobe Support,
I bought the Creative Cloud membership (one-year) on 12/21/2014. On 01/17/2015 I received the email from you and has been told that  my membership has been transitioned from paid to free beacause of my credit card payment failure. Now I'd like to cancel my annual membership. I'd like to know if you will bill 50% of your remaining contract obligation from my credit card each month or not? Now my membership is free. I am looking forward to your reply.
    Regards,
    Long Zhonghua

Roxallen I am sorry you have faced difficulties canceling your annual plan.  You are correct you do need to contact our support team to cancel your annual plan.  You can contact our support team directly at Creative Cloud membership support.

  • How do i pay for annual membership with a check?

how do i pay for annual membership with a check?

If you can not figure out away, take the check to a store and purchase a pre-paid credit card for the annual amount, then enter the data on the website to order.
    Just an idea.

  • Use a pre-paid phone with regular plan?

I am fairly new to Verizon and my husband already lost his phone.  Since there are no sim cards, can I still buy a pre-paid phone to use with our regular monthly plan?  If so how?

You cannot purchase a phone packaged for Verizon's prepaid service and use it immediately with a monthly (postpaid) plan.  You must use the phone with prepaid service for 6 months before it can be activated on a contract line.
So, you need to either buy a phone at full retail price, or get a used phone for your husband's line.
