Ah, I see what you did. However I think my problem is a little bit different. I have my "mobile.me" contact file (which syncs just fine), PLUS I have an "on my iPod touch" contact file. I'd like to delete the "on my iPod" set of info and retain the Apple (me.com) info.

I have an iphone 3gs and was hoping to pair the 2 by bluetooth and find an app so if he's in range i could locate him since most places he prolly can not connect to wifi. The iPhone does not support the protocols necessary to do what you want. Besides which, bluetooth is not directional in any way. I don't understand how you intend to "locate" him even if you could pair the two devices and they had unlimited range. You could set up the free 'Find my iPhone' service on the iPod and if it's on a WiFi network, you may be able to get an approximate location.
As for why your 3Gs will not find other devices, the bluetooth profiles support handsfree devices such as headsets, A2DP audio streaming and bluetooth keyboards ONLY. You will never be able to pair it with another phone.

My old laptop crashed. I bought a new one, but when I loaded itunes and plugged in my ipad 2, it only added the songs that were purchased in the itunes store. There is at least one way on each operating system (windows and mac) to rip your own dvds and then transfer them to itunes and finally put them on your ipod. A mac is the easiest of the two ways. If you have a mac, then you download a program off of the web called handbrake (just "google" >handbrake rip dvds< and its homepage should pop up or try <a class="jive-link-external-small" href="http://">http://handbrake.m0k.org). Handbrake allows you to copy and convert your dvds to ipod format. On a windows operating system the most effective way i have found to rip my dvds is quicktime pro($25-$35). You can buy it at quicktime's website. It basically does the same thing as handbrake. I, myself, have simply converted some videos, like sports shows and commercials, to ipod format using itunes and both the video and audio worked fine.

If you have DropBox installed on your computer, you should already have those images in a folder corresponding to the cloud folder structure. Simply copy the from there to any folder you wish them to be in.
And, if you delete them from the dropbox folder, then sync dropbox, they will be removed from all of your devices.

Click on the video in itunes and then click on the Advanced Menu option at the top, and click on "Create iPad or Apple Tv version".
