Full Replication vz Business Agreement - Which Way ?

Hello IS-U Gurus
Client is using SAP CRM 5 and plans to move to version 7 - currently they use Transaction Launcher and we want to move them to using the Utility Business Roles.
my project manger's problem ( and therefore mine) is that each team member has different views on the replication modelu2013 one view is for full blown replication ( including technical objects ) and the other view being proposed is for accelerated Move-in using parked documents
Ideally we would like to go SAP standard and use the full IS-U role INSTEAD of LEAN BUT we are regulated environment with only about 500K customers in a 90 user call center agents.
1) Do we REALLY need fulll blown replication ?
2) Are the views that different ?
3) for the LEAN role and associated parked documents what are the pitfalls ?

Raj:
Here are SAP recommendations on the existing 3 implementation models:
1) Move In/Out : Do not use with IC Web - Avoid this option.
2) Accelerated Move In-Out : Since this is Transaction based and does not include CRM Contract Management - Valid option
3) Contract Management : All the latest and greatest features of SAP CRM4Utilities available - Recommended
Most clients are preferring option 3 (I have seen 3 clients in the past 3 years going with option 3)

• Initial Load of BUAG_MAIN (Business Agreements) IS-U = CRM

Hello. We are integrating ISU to SAP CRM 7.0.
We have been replicating Business Partners between the two systems for a couple of years, and now wish to begin replication the Business Agreements <=> Contract acconts objects (BUAG_MAIN)
In our development system, in order to successfully process the initial load of BUAG_MAIN, I had to RE-run an inital load of BUPA_MAIN. I am really unconfortable having to do this in our productive systems!
My question to you experts:
Is there a way to run an initial load of a dependent object (BUAG_MAIN) without having to re-run an initial load of the parent object? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Hello Pratik,
- There are no dumps in ST22
- There are no errors in SMW01
- No. range settings are set as following:
CRM: Master Data-> Business Agreement-> Define Number Range for Business Agreement:
No. From number To number Ext.
01 000100000000 000199999999 X
02 000200000000 000299999999
ERP/IS-U: Financial Accounting (New)-> Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable-> Basic Functions->Contract Accounts->Number Ranges and Contract Account Categories
No. From number To number Ext.
01 000100000000 000199999999
02 000200000000 000299999999 X
But before inital download we have set all no. ranges to External as prescribed in the set-up and load guide for business agreements and contract accounts.
(There is just one Business Agreement Class and one contract account category)
Hope to hear from you soon.
Kind Regards

• Business Agreement - how to cancel it

Hi to all forum people.
I am in trouble with a mismatch between R/3 and CRM .
We have less Contract Account in R/3 then Business Agreement in CRM.
The reason of this mismatch is quite complicate to explain.
I would like to delete the CRM Business agreement which are not in R/3 but i do not find any transaction to do that.
The BP transaction allow me to Create a new Business Agreemen but it does not allow to delete it.
I also tryed to run a Request ( trx R3AR4 ) for BUAG_MAIN object against FKKVKP-VKONT Missing Contract Account but, of course, the result has been negative.
How can solve this mismatch ?
many tanks
Marco Capecchi

Hi Simona,
Logically I can suggest following.
I understand Agreement is a transaction type. Please have a status profile assigned to transaction with one f the status as cancel. Once you assign this status to the transaction can no more be used.

• CRM 7.0 / IS-U: adding custom fields to Business agreement for replication

Hello Experts!
We're working on replication of custom fields from IS-U to CRM 7.0.
Can you help me with clarification of my understanding of these questions..?
1) CRM/IS-U mapping tables for buag_main:
Business Agreement(BUAG_MAIN) is a BO in CRM that corresponds to CRM table CRMM_BUAG and to Contract account in IS-U table FKKVKP.
Table FKKVKP were enhanced with some z-fields,
so we are going to enhance corresponding CRM table CRMM_BUAG (or CRMM_BUAG_H) with that new fields..
But we see that these CRM and IS-U tables have far not the same field structures..
So, the question: Which crm and is-u tables i should look, enhance and replicate for Business agreement?
2) Access to Business agreement with possibility to add custom field:
I couldn't find in Web UI where i can directly edit profile of Business Agreement..
I've found just access to assignment block "Business agreement" on Account's profile overview page..(Role ServicePRO; Account details).
There I used AET to add custom field..but I faced with problem when the 1st popup appeared: there was no enhanced object "Business Agreement"..
Also in role "Utilities IC Agent" i've found "business agreement" profile but there I don't see buttons for adding custom fields..
So, the question is: Where I can access Business agreement profile to enhance it with custom fields for replication with IS-U?
3) CRM/IS-U data exchange functions:
I tend to use tcode CRMC_BUT_CALL_FU:
for CRM inbound event of BUAG object - FM CRM_BUAG_MWX_PROCESS_EXT_STRUC..(as template).
Question: Am I right that it fits my requirement to replicate custom fields from IS-U to CRM?
Please tell me if you need more information..
Looking forward to your answers.
Thank you a lot in advance!
Kind regards,
Evgenia

Hi Gobi,
Thank you for advice. But:
I've created fields not by using AET - I used documentation that Nicolas suggested me above.
I've enhanced tables and structures that were mentioned there with my z-fields for both sides (CRM and ERP).
Also I looked CRMC_BUT_CALL_FU for CRM Inbound BUAG_MAIN - corresponding standard FMs are marked for call.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.
BR,
Evgenia

• Business Agreement replication error

Hi All,
I'm working on Contract account / business agreement replication.
I got below error in SMW01.
Business agreement class does not exist
For object BUAG , number range interval does not exist CRMC_BUAG_NUMBERS
One or more errors occurred when the BAPI was called
Does anyone know why this happened?
I'm using CRM 5.0 and cannot find any replication setting for business agreement object from SAP Best Practise (CRM Customizing Replication (B09)).
Would anyone got some document that I can refer to?
Thanks in advance.
Best Regards,
Catherine Wong

Hi Denis,
Thank you for your provided link.
Further question according to this setup guide, the template for contract account for Replication mapping table. I have below questions:
1. What is the contract account no should I put in the table TFK_BUAG_REF?
2. We do not required to replicate the account determination ID (Contract account) to tax determination ID (CRM). Do we still need to maintain table TFK_MAP_KOFIZ_SD?
Appreciate if you can further help on these.
Thanks a lot.

• Business Agreement Replication issue

Hi,
When we create Contract Account in IS-U, system is not generating BUsiness Agreement in CRM
We followed the below cofiguration steps to replicate the data:
Step1: Maintained number range(INT) in IS-U
Step2: Maintained Number Range(EXT) in CRM
Step3: Maintained CA category in IS-U
Step4: Maintained BA Class
Step5: Maintained FI-CA active in CRM
Please let me know am I missing any configuration here
Regards,
Pavan

Pavan,
Many things can prevent a replication ...
Have you already suceeded replicating a BP? -> general (technical) setup of middleware is ok
Is it possible to create a business agreement in CRM and it is replicated to the ERP system?
Have you checked the outbound and inbound queues in both ERP and CRM system? Is there a BDoc pending in SMW01?
We need quite a bit more information to understand better the possible issue :o)
Cheers,
Fritz

- I have assigned internal number range to ISU contract accounts and identical number range to CRM business agreements as external.
- I have also checked the tables COM_BUPA_CALL_FU,CRMC_BUT_CALL_FU,TFKFBS, CRMC_BUAG_ACTV
for the entries recommended in the setup and load guide. All is ok.

One simple way if you want to get rid of this error (mostly for testing purposes/may not be relevant for production system) is
go to CRM SPRO->MASTER DATA->BUSINESS PARTNER->BUSINESS AGREEMENT->DEFINE BASIC SETTINGS->  (HERE DE-ACTIVATE THE FI-CA INDICATOR).

• CRM Middleware help for rookie needed.. Replication of Business Transaction

Hi guys,
I try to set up replication of Business Transactions from R/3 to CRM and vice versa.
I have created:
- CRM site type (CRM) , R/3 type site (R46CLNT700)
then I created a subscription: SalesDocuments (R46CLNT700 is assigned to this subscription) for publication "All Business Transactions (MESG)".
a, Is this enough configuration of MW for needed replication? Or do I need more settings set up?
b, When I try to start initial load of the Replication object BUS_TRANS_MSG (which is "in" publication All Business Transactions), I am not able to start Load from CRM to R46CLNT700).. As target I can use only CDB... What is wrong?
c, If I create some sales transaction in CRM system and I want it to be replicated to R/3 and vice versa, how will I know, which replication object represents this document? For example, I create a Sales Order. How will I know, which replication object to set up for replication?
Thanx a lot! Peter

Peter,
1.If you are looking for Initial download from CRM to R/3, this should be possible from CRM v4.0.
2. Delta flow between the systems should happen once your initial download is complete.
3. Check the Inbound and Outbound queues in CRM. If they seems to be hanging for long time, check whether you have registered the Inbound & Oubtound queues in SMQR and SMQS transaction on both CRM and R/3.

Phani.

Hi Guys
We are Downloading BP data from R/3 ISU system to CRM system and I did the relevant customizations using setup and load guide, along with the BP data it is required to download Business agreements and contract accounts (BDOC buag_main) also for this download I don't have any idea about what customizations to do to download BUAG_MAIN does any one have the document which specifies the required custmizations for downloading Business partner agreements.
My id : [email protected]
Thanks in advance

Hi Madhu,
Contract Account on ISU is Business Agreement on CRM. Please refer the following path to get the load guide for contract account.
The SAP Service Marketplace, http://service.sap.com/utilities => Product Information => mySAP CRM for Utilities => Cookbooks & Guidelines => IS-U Specific Set-Up and Load Guide for Business Agreement / Contract Account.

• Business Agreement

Hi All,
I'm trying to create a business agreement, but although I have read the help.sap.com I still don´t quite understand how to create one. I know it is a BSP and can be linked to the costumer, but where exactly can I create one?
In the fact sheet of the sales area data of a sold-to-party? if not, where? I have put mandatory fields in the field modifications for sold-to-party's still nothing appears in the business partner master data....
Thanks in advance and best regards,
Carina Maeiro

Hi Carina,
It is perfectly possible to create business agreements for persons as well. It is more depending on in which bp role you wish to create a business agreement.
If you are currently not able to do so and you try to do this in a role which should allow business agreements, then there is probably something missing in the customising settings.
Go to SPRO - Cross application components - SAP business partner -Business partner - Basic settings - Field modifcations - Field attributes per BP role.
Check if view CRM130 is available for the bp role in which you try to create a business agreement. Furthermore check if field groups of view CRM130 are NOT set to "Hide".
If all those settings are correct, have a look in customising whether all settings are correct for the business agreement such as numberranges etc.
You can do this in SPRO - Customer Relationship Management - Master data - Business partner - Business agreement.
Hope this helps.
Kind regards,

• Business Agreement view is blank

Hi Experts,
This is in concern with SAP CRM 2007 web IC development. In the Identification screen of Web IC, I have created some Actionable Alerts i.e. Next Best Action which is shown as a link on the top section of Web IC in identification screen. The linking of this Next Best Action is done with the Business Agreement Screen.
Whereas if i try to open a Business Agreement from Identification screen it displays the Business Agreement details.
The Configuration to call the Business Agreement screen is same. But still it doesnt display the BuAG details through NBA(Next Best Action).
Is is some BADI implementation that I am missing???
Please help.Replies will surely be rewarded
Thanks
Manish

Just Save you all the configuration and restart the services of Prime. It may solve your problem.

• Business agreement - Edit payment conditions in Customizing

Hi Guys,
I am getting below error when i am trying to create business agreement from CRM IC.
Error - Edit payment conditions in Customizing
I have completed all the required setting in CRM as well as in ISU for business agreement creation as well as replication.
Can someone suggest some solution
Thanks,
Nitin

Hello,
If you create a business agreement in IC WC you have to maintain the
customizing "Creation of Business Agreement"
But it may be the case that you maintained only payment relevant
parameters for customizing node
"Allocate Payment-Relevant Parameters to New Business Agreements"
for payment type "By Automatic Debit". In your case payment type
"By Invoice" may be needed and may not be maintained.
Please add this in customizing via the path: Master Data ->
Business Partner -> Business Agreement -> Creation of Business
Agreement.
Please also make sure you use a BP with role "Sold to Party" when
creating business agreements, as this is needed.
OR
See
Master Data -> Business Partner -> Business Agreement -> Creation of
Business Agreement -> Allocate Payment-Relevant Parameters to New
Business Agreement
In this customizing table check the country is maintained
I hope this information is helpful.
Regards
Olivia
