Full screen in CS5 - broken image spread across screen

Hi all,
Calling out for help from New Zealand here
I have just updated my graphics driver (to Catalyst 14.9) and now when I go to full screen in CS5 I get an unrecognizable image that is broken up across the screen!?
I've tried all the settings available to me in the AMD Catalyst Control Center but nothing helps

If you have AMD's latest driver, then you need to contact AMD and see when they'll have a fix for the problem.
In the meantime, disable GPU drawing in Photoshop's preferences.

Seems like imovie can't do anything...just want some images scrolling across the screen.

InDesign CS5 ePUBS Image Consistency across platforms

Hello!
I have a question I've been asking myself for months, and finally made an account here for the Adobe Forums, which seems to be pretty much the only place with useful information about ePubs.
I work in a company that's planning on transferring over 70 print modules (between 80-150 pages each) to be available on iPad and Android tablets / phones.
InDesign CS5 helps a lot, especially with being able to choose Header 1s as Page Breaks.
But, I seem to be having some issues with a couple of things that's preventing us from publishing these documents to the Apple Store and Androind Market.
1) Superscript / Subscript not appearing correctly on final product (Though this has been achieved by using Sigil to hack the CSS)
2) Bullet alignment (The bullets are all aligned perfectly, just not along with the first line, creating a secondary weird indent bug that looks terrible)
The main issue is pictures. I am using PNG images. A few months ago, the problem was solved - If I chose NOT to automatically format my images, they appeared perfect on the iPad/iPhone/Galaxy Phone and Galaxy Tab.
However, we took some time off this project, and now that I'm back on it, Aldiko has a new version, and it seems to break the images. Now my images in Aldiko are displaying huge, and previously, you'd be able to hold a finger on an image and it would open up full screen to get a closer look, but all of that seems gone now, and I'll only get half of my image at best.
Checking off to automatically format the images results in terrible low quality images that are so small you can barely see them.
I've done some research and apparently Aldiko is one of the most used free e-readers for android, so I'd definitely like for our products to display fine on it.
Any suggestions? Anyone else that experiences similar problems?

Your question is rather an advanced one. I've observed that most of us who reply to ePUB questions here are still learning to make ePUBs.

Ipad lock screen problem and red line moving across screen

my ipad wont automatically turn off from the lockscreen. eg i recieve a notification and the screen won't turn off afterwards or if i click on the home button to check the time. The screen will now remain bright until i physically turn it off using the power button on top.
Also another problem i'm having is that i get a red bar abit more than 1cm in width and across the whole lengh of the screen
it usually pops up while i'm using an app and occasionally for a second when i unlock my ipad.

How do i eliminate the pop up that appears acroos the top of the toolbar at bottom of screen. it extends all the way across screen

Do a malware check with some malware scanning programs on the Windows computer. 
You need to scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.

Home screen: broken images view

Please help me, i am using Nokia 701, when i am changing home screen wallpaper, it's take times to load, because of some broken images, but in my gallery not showing anything like that as broken images. what's the problem? how can i solve it?

Already i faced this problem i deleted and restored data. problem solved. but i hate to do that now because. internal memory may get slow.

Try this also download the app that I have attached. Install it and open it. It will display all the media files in your phone. The broken images will also be displayed. These images will be black in color. Tap that image then click the small i icon at the bottom it will display the file path. Go to that location using xplore and delete the images. Hope this helps.

This is happening while working in the balck screen and using shortkut Keys for top menu. the tools are woring, but while using Alt Key to choosing the menu item. its not supporting. like the older vesions

Can you please be a little more clear about what you expect it to do vs. what it's doing.
Are you using the "Full Screen With Menus" mode or the complete "Full Screen" mode? I just tried the "Full Screen With Menus" mode and was able to use the Alt key to initiate menu operations.

Green spreading across my screen

Hi,
My Moto X screen suddenly started turning green. First it was a bit in the corners and a few dots and now it's spreading across the screen. Nothing usual has happened to it. I don't think it's gotten wet. I may have dropped it, but it has a case.
Any ideas what is going on or what I can do about it?

What an odd situation,susansz28. I have not heard of the screen randomly turning green, but it may be best to have the local store perform a hands on evaluation just to make sure. If the drop did internal damage, it may be difficult to diagnose over the phone or via this forum.

Image that spreads across entire web browser

I want to design a web page that has 3 separate sections in
the page where the design/image goes across the entire web browser
window without repeating and stays that way even when the browser
is resized. Making a table with 3 rolls only contains each image
within the space designated for that table roll and the background
surrounding the table still looks different.
Do I need a Javascript or something?

So here are my screenshots.
1st one shows the image on a slide in captivate
2nd one shows the image preview in the Library
last image shows it in web browser or published view:
I spoke to technical support today and they could only tell me to copy and past into a new file. I've done that and still getting the same error. Even worse now my audio is having issues. I cleared my cache settings like Lilybiri suggested but nothing seems to work.

How to open images in Fill Screen mode from Camera Raw

I am using Photoshop CS4 for Windows. I created an action that executes Fit on Screen and set the Scripts Event Manager to execute that action on the Open Document event. This works when opening a document from Photoshop.
Here are my questions:
1) After opening a raw image from Bridge in Camera Raw, when I then open the image in Photoshop, it does not run the Open Document event action to Fit on Screen. What event do I need to set the action to execute on when opening an image from Camera Raw in Photoshop?
2) I added Fit on Screen to the action by selecting Insert Menu Item from the Actions menu and then selecting View-Fit on Screen. I cannot find Fill Screen on any pull-down menu (the button found on the Hand tool bar). How can I insert the Fill Screen item (which fills the screen a little more than Fit on Screen?
3) In the Scripts Events Manager, when you select Add an Event, it says Any scriptable event can be entered here. See the Scripting Reference for the full list of Photoshop event names.. On the following Adobe webpage, I found the Adobe Photoshop CS4 Scripting Guide but I did not find a list of Photoshop event names in that document. Where can I find the list of Photoshop event names?

If you do Cmd+Shift+3 you'll get a full screen image saved to your desktop as a jpg file.
Also, you can use Cmd+Shift+4 and you'll get a cursor which you click+drag to draw a box. When you release the drag the boxed in area will be saved to the Desktop as a jpg file.

How do i insert a splash screen or a loading screen and a application image for a phone app on Dreamweaver 6, 5.5 had the mobile application setting that is seemingly no longer present? and i also heard you can use animanted backgrounds on the mobile application in dreamweaver 6 but figuring out how to set the splash screen and application image like it was in 5.5 would be nice. All i can get to pull up is the web application i developed i am trying to build into a phone app on google chrome, if i could officially designate it as a phone app where i can set each splash screen and app image to where it is recognized as a phone app that would be really nice.

Duely noted, the server will still not connect, so i have left an inquery in the suggested forum.

CF8 Multiserver IIS6-Jrun Broken Images

Hello All
We have run into a problem with the multiserver install of
CF8 Enterprise Edition. I would appreciate any insight into it.
Server details:
Web Servers
IIS 6.0 on Windows 2003 Server
Use the JRun connector to communicate with CF servers (.cfm
.cfml .cfc .cfr mapped to jrun_iis6.dll)
CF 8 servers:
CF8.0.1 Enterprise edition; on windows 2003 server; 1 cluster
of 2 instances; running the proxy service on default ports (51000,
51002 and so on),
We want to use the reverse proxy for every type of file for
specific virtual directories on the Web server. This includes, .js,
.css, .gif, .jpg files.
Problem:
The coldfusion specific file formats are proxied to the CF
servers without a problem (since an IIS mapping exists for each of
them). However, for the static file formats it does not work
(broken images, missing .css files etc.)
We have observed that:
a) if there is no extension mapping on web server, IIS 6.0
sends a 404 message for the images on the page
b) if there is an extension mapping to the same jrun_iis6.dll
on the web server, we get a 503 error from the CF server
(Indicating no mapping on the CF server)
c) if in addition to (b), we introduce a url-pattern mapping
in web.xml, and associate it with CfmServlet, we start getting the
content of the image in a stream (Server response = 200 ) but with
incorrect content-type (it comes across as text/html). The images
still appear broken because the content-type is incorrect.
At this point, we are at a loss of what we are missing.
Has anyone run into this problem before... any pointers will
be much appreciated!

Very close. You need to map the extensions to the
FileServlet, not the
CfmServlet. Then restart CF and you are in business. You can
even remove
the mappings in IIS, the mappings in web.xml will overrule
them anyway.

White lines do I have a damaged screen ? They are now spreading and taking over my desktop but glass screen is not broken ?!?

they aren't dead pixels if they're white, are you sure they aren't grey? are they all vertical/horizontal, or just randomly spread around? also, have you dropped it or had done any physical activity with it? year would be helpful as well
