Full screen incoming caller display 2730 classic

Is there a way of making the phone display the incoming caller display larger, when your driving and using Bluetooth its almost imposable to read the number or name of caller
I know the font size can be changed for other applications but this one is a must as it could be quit dangerous to try and read who is calling when driving
A full screen would be better

Is there a basic nokia phone that just makes and receives calls, text, and with Bluetooth with extra large fonts so the phone can be read, mostly for incoming calls
My 10 year old 6310i was good but the bluetooth let it down

Why Apple removed full screen incoming call photo. It was an awesome feature. I hope Apple will consider this and return in next version of iOS. Everyone has got their own happines to see loved ones photo, which makes them happy, relaxed and lot more, when phone rings with full screen photo.. Thanks

  • Full screen incoming caller picture

    Hi,
I am much disappointed with the change from full screen contact picure on the call screen to a small teeny circle when I get an incoming call. I wish they will have to bring back the same (full scren contact picture while calling) feature in their next revision as an optional one at-least!
    Thanks
    Sri

  • Can not properly view cover flow in full screen in external display

My mac is the new Mac book pro 15.4 inch screen and I connect my mac pro to external display e.g. Samsung LCD monitor 24 inches.
The bug is that I can not PROPERLY view full screen (in external display) for some application e.g. iTunes, and Front Row.
    - When I use iTunes, I can not properly view Cover Flow view in full screen (in the external display screen) except the case of mirror display.
    - For Front Row, I can not view full screen in external display but only my mac display.
However, for other DVD or VDO players, I can view movie on external display in full screen and I still be able to do other works on my mac screen.
Please let me know how to solve it.

  • Second screen blacked out when full screen with dual displays

I have a MacBook Pro connected to an LCD display. I use both screens. When working from home I'd like to have my local machine showing on the LCD monitor and my work machine showing in the MBP screen. I can do this, however I can't have the work machine in full screen mode because ARD blacks out my main LCD monitor. This frankly drives me nuts as there doesn't appear to be a preference within ARD to change this.
iTunes does the same thing. If I want to watch a video full screen in one monitor it blacks out the other. C'mon Apple, Quicktime doesn't do this and has a preferences tab just for display settings!
Does someone have a suggestion, work around, or want to point me to what I might be missing to solve this issue?

I understand what you are doing, but when you are running as full-screen the second display is blacked out because your making your station only the target at that moment. You are telling ARD that you want nothing to do with your Admin station. Also because the target doesn't have a second screen, your is blank. This avoids any confusion as to what screen belongs to what machine. ARD is working as it was designed to.
iTunes does the same thing to hid extra screens that are not part of the presentation so they don't detract from the show.
With your Observe or Control in Windowed mode, make the window of you client to fill the display as much as possible. This is the best you can do. Besides, when you are Controlling a client in Full-Screen, you can't move files and such with drag-n-drop. So if you want to work on both at the same time, you need to stay in windowed mode.

  • Crome - stuck in full screen on Second display

    Hello
I am in need of some help here.
I have a dual screen set up
Main display - Apple 30" display
Second display - Apple 23" display
At one point I have enabled full screen mode with Google Crome on my 23" display and I can't get it out of Full Screen.
I have quit Crome and tried to start it holding down different keys - Command, option and also control, (alone not together)
No change, still runs full screen
    UGH - hate it.
I have tried 'esc' and the blue arrows in the upper right of the screen both did not help.
    Thanks

  • DVD player full screen on external display

I'm looking for a way to play my DVD full screen on my external display while I can work in other apps on the main screen. Preferrably with Apple DVD Player (OS X 10.7 Lion in my case). Any ideas? Hidden settings perhaps?
It's stuff like this makes feel let down by Apple. It's natural feature to want this like for instance when playing DVD on a big screen in front of an audience and prepare something on the main display for viewing.

I know I can do this already with VLC. For some discs that don't play well in VLC I'd prefer DVD Player though.

  • Mac Mini no longer able to display full screen on TV display.

I had my mac mini set up correctly with my Samsung 50" tv - using the "Best for display" option within system preferences - Display.  I left the computer on overnight and in the morning the screen was messed up.  Now I can only see the full screen, with menu bars at the top of the display, if i set preferences with the lowest available resoltion of 720p and using the Underscan option too. Any advice on what went wrong and how to get back to the best setting?

    Hey there Slackbast,
It sounds like you are having some graphical issues when you have a TV connected to your Mac Mini, but it used to work fine. I recommend the troubleshooting from the article named:
Apple computers: Troubleshooting issues with video on internal or external displays
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1573
Try unplugging the video adapter or cable and then plug it back in.
If more than one video adapter is in use (or "daisy-chained"), troubleshoot by using only one adapter.
Example: A mini DisplayPort to DVI adapter connected to a DVI to HDMI adapter is an unsupported configuration because there is a series of adapters in use.
If available, try using a different display and or adapter (or use a different connector by using DVI instead of VGA, for instance).
Reset the systemYou can reset the Mac's parameter RAM and SMC.Reset the resolutionStart by resetting the Mac's parameter RAM. If the display does not come up, was previously set to an unsupported resolution, and still results in no video:
    Start up in Safe Mode.
From the Apple () menu, choose System Preferences.
Choose Displays from the View menu to open the preferences pane.
Select any resolution and refresh rate that your display supports.
    Restart your computer.
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.

  • Full-screen terminal dims display

    Hi,
when switching to full-screen for Terminal my external display reduces its brightness to an irritating degree. Brightness level are back to normal when the menu is displayed or other windows are on top of the terminal (for example the preferences window or the alt-tab task switcher). As soon as these windows are gone the brightness drops again.
I can't seem to find a setting for this. Any pointers are greatly appreciated.
    Cheers

Problem solved. It turned out to be a setting of the monitor which would dim the backlight when a certain percentage of the screen is black (my terminal background is set to black). After un-setting this option the problem disappeared. (IIYAMA ProLite E2607WS, Contrast/Brightness -> ACR -> off)

  • Acroread full screen problem - dual display on Linux machine

    Hi:
I am running Linux Fedora core 15 on an HP laptop that I use for presentations.  I have dual displays set up and run my presentation software (opera and acroreader)  in the external monitor in full screen mode.  This works fine for opera, but when I try to use acroreader, it only appears on the laptop's built in monitor when in full screen mode.   Any suggestions on how to get it on the external display?
    Thanks.

When you normally play iTunes on a secondary monitor (23" Cinema on the side) and then disconnect to go mobile, there's a problem - can't get video window to show up anywhere without changing preferences to have video display in iTunes window or art window. Disabling spaces, checking display, "detect displays", nothing else works.

  • Video full screen with two displays?

I do presentations with my MB Air (currently still on Lion)
I connect the MB Air to a projector via the mini display socket.
In Sys Prefs/Displays I have MIrror switched off so that the projector screen shows an extended desktop.
One display (MB Air) is the system display with Finder menu bar.
My problem is that if I play a video (MP4 using Quicktime player) and select full screen
the video shows full screen on the system display only - the other display is black
What I would like is for the video to show full screen on the second display (projector screen) not the system display (MB Air)
I would like this so that the audience does not see my desktop and me opening files and folders
but only sees the video I am playing full screen on the projector screen.
    Is this possible?
    many thanks
    Pete

I actually just found an option under quicktime preferences to keep fullscreen when player is inactive, and that fixed my problem. Thanks anyway though!

  • Quick time full screen on external display

I've connected an old CRT Monitor to my Powerbook, works fine. I'm using it to play Movies on it in Full Screen Mode while my Powerbook's screen is free for using any other application. Unfortunately, this works with Apple DVD player and VLC player. In these applications, I just drag the movie window into the middle of the external screen and choose "Full Screen". If I do this in QT (pro), the movie comes on full screen on the built-in screen. In iTunes, the animation appears in full screen on the external monitor, but the Powerbook's screen turns black.
Can I do anything about this?
Powerbook G4 (and one old iBook original tangerine)   Mac OS X (10.4.6)   iTunes 6.0.4 QT pro 7.0.4
Powerbook G4 (and one old iBook original tangerine)   Mac OS X (10.4.2)

In the Quicktime Player, under the View menu select Present Movie. In the sheet that appears you'll get a little layout of the available screens. Just select external monitor and hit play.
    I'm not sure about iTunes.

  • Viewing a video on full screen using multipule displays

Well, i run two monitors. my primary is a LG and i extend my desktop too a secondary amtranas monitor. the LG one is high def wide screen and my secondary amtranas one is just a regular 4:3 Monitor which i use as a tv..
what i want to do is watch video's on the secondary monitor in full screen through itunes and still be able to do work on the primary monitor. but when i go in full screen mode on the secondary monitor using itunes... it blacks out my primary one too.
is their a way too tell itunes too only play video's on one screen and not black out the others? i dont think its a nvidia setting, cause itunes is the only program that does this. so far the only way i can counter this is just too watch the video in a window..
    any help would be appreciated

    Bump
I am also having this same problem. I usually like to game and have my visualizer on the screen but it turns my primary moniter black too. Could someone please help us out.
