Full screen pop up?

Hi,
I am not quite sure what I am asking for here, in terms of the right terminology so please bear with me.
The adobe uk page has what I am after, Adobe UK: Creative, marketing and document management solutions. When you press menu on the page, a window pulls down to fill the page offering many other options about their products. I do not want anything as complicated as this, but I would like to recreate the effect. However mine will load on page load.
Can anyone point me in the right direction of how I might be able to create something similar?

How do I get rid of the Clash of the Clans Full screen pop up ad?

Almost as soon as I got my new phone a few weeks a full screen pop-up ad for Clash of the Clans started showing up periodically whenever I go to use my phone right after I log in and the lock screen is disabled. I've tried stopping auto updates reseting the phone removing the games I had downloaded and it still keeps coming up. Is there anything I can do to get rid of this?

You may try an app like AirPush in the Play Store. Those types of apps tell you what is pushing ads to your device. Doesn't have to be that particular game, could be a leftover file from something else. Anti-virus apps also let you know what apps are pushing ads in their privacy tests. i know Avast Free will tell you this.

2/3 the way down, Atomic sent me a link, that says
'HERE".....to create a centered full screen flash pop up that works
on all browsers and fixes the 'click to activate' bug.
But I can't recreate it?
Can someone help me?
I think he is using a javascript file....but I can't figure
out the code to launch the pop up...and utilize that java.

Just edit the above code with your swf info. The create a
folder called Scripts and save the flashobject.js file in it. Done
and done.

Full screen flash pop up.....that is centered...Help?

Here is the deal.
I would like to create a flash popup that creates a browser
window that goes fullscreen. Not the fullscreen that takes over the
whole screen, and you need to esc to get out. But fullscreen so in
a window that has no toolbars, search bar, etc.
That's the first challenge. Within that window, I have a
flash file that is 1100 x 700. I would like to have that swf
centered both vertically and horizontally. I would also like to
have the background of that file extend to all sides....so that I
can change the color of the background. To accomplish this I used

It was working on Internet explorer....automatically
launching a full screen pop up. But it doesn't even work on safari
or firefox. I was using a code that I got from some pop up java
code generator.

Firefox does not enlage images on ebay. A new blank screen pops up.

When on ebay looking at a listing I want to enlarge the image for a better view. A blank full screen pops up with nothing on it apart from a search bar at the top.

How can I configure my Macbook Air to always show the menu bar when in full-screen? I hate, hate, hate it popping up and then going away all the time.

I cannot find a way to change this in System Preferences. When I have applications open full screen, my menu bar disappears. Then when I try to move between tabs, I find it is always popping up & then disappearing. I really just want to set up my computer so that the menu bar always displays in the foreground. I find this popping up & disappearing intrusive and annoying. How can I fix this? I hate, hate, hate this about my MAC...

Don't use the full screen arrow in the top right corner of the window. Instead, use the green + in the top left corner. That takes the window full screen just below the menu bar.

How to avoid pop up appearing in the screen middle top when playing video full-screen ?

I created a landing page with embedded video hosted on Vimeo. When I click to play the video full-screen there's always a pop up window in the middle top saying the meaning like Vimeo is playing full-screen, press escape to get out of it. No, as a web developer, you can't tamper with that message. The point is to prevent a situation where the user is trapped in full screen, as would happen if full screen is initiated by the page and the page doesn't provide controls to exit full screen.
If users trust the site in question, they can check the "Never ask me again for this domain" checkbox to avoid the message in the future.
Users can also get rid of all such messages altogether:

If you don't want to install an add-on, you can use the ''userChrome.css'' file instead, but I don't recommend it. In that file, the first line of the style should only appear once at the top.

Everytime i go 'full screen' with a video, a red F pops up in the bottom toolbar (by windows flag) then dissapears when I exit...?

I was watching a YouTube video and as I pressed the button to go full screen I saw a square pop up in the bottom taskbar, like where the internet explorer and spotify icons are at the bottom of my screen, by the Windows start button. When I exited the video it dissapeared, so it was only up when i was full screen, it was never up there long enough for me to click on it. It was all red except for an italic f, which was white. After I watched a couple more videos, an actual pop up...popped up and said it had a X and said that windows had some kind of run time issue. I x-ed out of that, did'nt press OK.
I had read some things about the McAffee Security Scan Plus (which had installed with my adobe, just reinstalled it today....actually just got firefox today too-google chrome had not been working right for a while) and I decided to un-install that and it didn't stop the problem. I am wondering if this is something I should worry about? I'm not sure what it is and it has never appeared before. Please help!

Many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache. In order to try to fix these problems, the first step is to clear both cookies and the cache.
Note: ''This will temporarily log you out of all sites you're logged in to.''
To clear cache and cookies do the following:
#Go to Firefox > History > Clear recent history or (if no Firefox button is shown) go to Tools > Clear recent history.
#Under "Time range to clear", select "Everything".
#Now, click the arrow next to Details to toggle the Details list active.
#From the details list, check ''Cache'' and ''Cookies'' and uncheck everything else.
#Now click the ''Clear now'' button.

'Pop-up to confirm' window in full screen mode

Hi Guys
In a SAP standard WDA application on clicking a link the application calls a pop-up(create_popup_to_confirm) window centered on the screen. I need to open the pop upwindow in full-screen mode. Changing/increasing size is not acceptable. Is this possible for pop-up window? If so , can you please help?

I tested with parameters window_height and window_width of method create_pop_up_to_confirm and they seem to be working. I tested it on Netweaver 7.02 Release ( Maybe this feature is enabled ).
yeah Manas .. it was with Netweaver 7.01 only they r not working .. search the SAP online help
Also if you have to increase the height and widht of rootelement then you have to call method create_window to call an already existing view as Pop Up

Full screen mode annoyingly pops up...Help!

I usually use photoshop (cs6) in full screen mode with menu bar. Often I use the window+d shortcut to return to the desktop. From here, whatever window I open, ie my browser, explorer, etc, photoshop pops up in the background minus all the menu bars. This is very annoying because it means I cannot work with files on my desktop. Is there a fix to this? I really hope so. I've included an example below.

I know this may sound strange, but see if you notice any difference if after you open a document you float the document window and then go to fullscreen in photoshop.

I just updated my firefox today and now when I click on my popups or additional windows they pop up full screen. They used to pop up much smaller how do I change my settings so that these pop ups will be smaller?

This happens when I click on my links they pop up as the full screen not the size they used to show up. I have tried other browsers and the pop ups have not changed in size like Firefox. I will be more than happy to provide screen shots to fully demonstrate my concern.

I believe this is more about the default settings of the pop-ups. I have tried the 3 methods above and they have not solved my issue.
As I have stated before this issue is not happening with other web browsers.
Mozilla is better compatible with the program I am running.
It seems you know your way around Mozilla so pleas help.
P.S. I have taken screen shots and attached them to a word doc so I could best illustrate my issue with commentary and arrows but it will not save to my post. I have even tried posting it as a PDF.

Mail In Full Screen Closes Window after Sending

I love using mail in full screen.
When I send a new message or reply to a message the Mail window closes out of the full screen and closes the mail window. How do I get the window to stop closing after I send or reply?

I found out what is was. I had serial mail try to send about 200 emails. Something went wrong (not sure whether it is lion compatible) and there were a load of unsent emails somewhere in the background. Funny thing was they were not showing anywhere, just when I tried to close window, an unsent message popped up.
Anyway, force quit mail as I could not be bothered to find out how many mails had not been sent, and on reopening all back to normal

No sound when watching full-screen movies or TV shows in iTunes after update to 11.1

After updating to iTunes 11.1, any full-screen movies or TV shows I try to play on my Thunderbolt display with my MacBook Pro have no audio. If I plug in speakers or headphones, I get audio, just not from the Thunderbolt display. Audio works fine from MBP.
Weird thing is, if I plug in other speakers or headphones and then *unplug* them, the Thunderbolt display's speakers start working again. Every time you start a new show or movie, though, you have to do this again after the full-screen video opens on the display.
Really weird. I obviously suspect i has something to do with the 11.1 update to iTunes 'cause audio works just fine through the display for iTunes music and other content and for the web and all other apps and games, whether they're in full-screen mode or not.
Keep checking Software Update hoping to see that "1" badge pop up on the App Store, lol.

Thanks allen222! I've been banging my head against this issue as well - glad to hear it's fixed in Mavericks - was planning to upgrade shortly.

Ever since I downloaded the new version a few days ago I get full screen popup ads whenever I try to open a new site. It's INCREDIBLY annoying, and sometimes there is no icon to close them. WHY, why would Firefox allow this?

I don't HAVE any more details. Whenever I open a new site, I get (so far) one of two full screen advertisements. Most of the time there is the word "Skip" in the upper right hand corner, but on occasion that is not there, and there no way to get beyond the ad screen except to go into what they are trying to sell you. It is imposing and obnoxious to the nth. This has only happened since I downloaded the latest version (I think the BETA 4) 3 days ago. If this can not be resolved, I want to go back to the older version.
