Full screen show navigation arrows

Hello,
I want to use Aperture 3. When I edit the photos I work with full screen, now I work with iphoto and I have a navigation control with arrows, that theys lets me select the previous and next images. How can I show this arrows with aperture 3 full screen?
Best regards,

Short answer is you can't. However the left and right arrow keys will take you to the previous/next image.
You could also pin the filmstrip view to the screen and use that to navigate through your images. To pin the film strip open in viewer mode slide your mouse to the edge of the screen, bottom edge by default and click the little slider that reads *Always show filmstrip*

  • Preview pdf full screen shows double pages after page 1

How can I get Preview to show single pages in fullscreen mode? It keeps showing the 2nd and 3rd page (and so on) of any pdf side by side on the screen. Single page display in a window works fine, but when swithcing to full screen it always displays it as a two-page layout.

I don't have CS4 but in CS3 I could get the same results as "use software rendering" as when I clicked on "restore down" (middle symbol in upper rt corner of windows screen) even though I enlarged the window to full screen.
In maximize window mode I had several problems with the preview without software rendering, and knew my video card was weak point. I know this is not the same issue but does not cost anything to try it. Don't know why it worked either.

  • Full screen shows un-edited photo

When I edit a RAW photo using an external editor (Photoshop 7.0), the changes only partially work. After saving and switching back to iPhoto, the preview thumbnail is correct. Viewing the edited photo in full screen briefly shows the edit, but then reverts to the old photo!
It seems that the jpg version of the file has been successfully edited, and iPhoto shows that briefly while reading the RAW (.NEF) file. Somehow, the flag marking the photo as having been edited didn’t get set.
I had this problem happen once before when iPhoto crashed. But now that I updated to 6.06, it seems to happen all the time. The only work around that I know is to open the photo back up in an external editor, do a “Save As”, and the import the saved file back in as a new photo.
I am running 10.4.9 on a MacBook. All my software is up to date. The photos are from a Nikon D70.
If anyone knows a fix, or a better work around, I would love to hear it!

well, this is something which is as expected , application takes 1-2 seconds to show a clear preview.

  • Video size during full screen show up as half the size

I was watching a south park episode and wanted to close it. The option to get out of full screen wasn't working so I right clicked the screen which brought up a menu. Choices were Half screen through full screen and i clicked half screen. Now whenever I try to full screen it always shows up with a really small screen and i cannot change it.
I have gone through all the options and nothing lets you control the size of the full screen so i am guessing this is a bug. Any help would be great

Just press CTRL + 3 while in Fullscreen "mode" to enable the video size to "Fit To Screen".
You probably pressed CTRL + 0 at some point, reducing the video size to half size while in fullscreen mode.
    Cheers!

  • Exiting full screen shows desktop for a second

    Hi all,
Just installed Mountain Lion, and all is fine, except for maybe one thing.  If I'm editing a picture in full-screen (not the "full-screen" for the entire application, but the full-screen of the picture (by hitting the "F" key)), when I exit that mode (by hitting "F" again), for a second, I see my desktop.
A bit weird.  Any ideas about this?
    Thanks.

Just for clarity, "f" issues the command "View➞Fullscreen".  That command makes the Aperture application "full-screen" as defined by the OS.  There is not (and has not been since at least 3.0, when I started using Aperture) any Viewer or Browser or Project View mode that is "full-screen".  There is one and only one full-screen mode, and that is for the entire app.  (In fact, you can enter full-screen mode from the Browser, the Viewer, Split View, or Projects View.  There is no default Split View in full-screen mode, but if you enter full-screen mode from Split View, and immediately exit full-screen mode, you will be returned to Split View.
And a bonus for turbidity: I am not seeing my Desktop when entering or exiting Aperture's full-screen mode.  3.3.2 on 10.8.  I see a sliding-application-window transition.  The area outside the application window is black.

  • Full screen show

Is there any way to lock full screen mode so that users are not aviable to cancel it by mouse? Keyboard is inside of furniture...

That can be done at the preferences on the computer for Full Screen.

  • "Full Screen" in Aperture 3.2.1 is on wrong screen.

"Full Screen" in Aperture 3.2.1 - I finally bought Aperture and tried editing using my macbook pro and cinema display.  I am working with Aperture on the cinema display and selected "Full Screen," however, the "Full Screen" shows up on the laptop, not the cinema display.  The usual Aperture window stays on the cinema display.  Of course why bother editing if the full screen image is not on the larger display?  I tried dragging the "full screen" image from the laptop to the cinema display, but that wouldn't work.  I searched as best I could for any help on this matter to no avail.  Has any one else had this problem?  Thanks for any help with this.  (I usually work with PS CS5, other editing plug-in's with that, and iphoto for managing libraries.)

The most trouble-free (from the computer's perspective) is to put the OS Menu Bar on the big screen (this makes it the Primary Display), go Full Screen and set the secondary monitor to none.
All other variations of Full Screen + Dual Monitors are prone to the kinds of behavior you have experienced (IME).  I gave up using Full Screen Mode with dual monitors many months ago.  I hide the Toolbar, and regularly hide/show the Inspector.  I keep my browser to the side in Split View.
I had expected Apple to fix these problems with the release of Lion (guessing that Aperture's Full Screen Mode was actually a bit of a preview of what Lion would deliver).  Early reports were that this is not the case.
If you have a moment, you might send a report to Apple via "Aperture→Send Aperture Feedback".  The performance of Full Screen Mode on a dual monitor set-up is more lemon than Apple.

  • Yosemite: How do I get back from full-screen to original window size?

Okay, so today I used iPhoto for the first time since I reluctantly upgraded to Yosemite on Friday.
iPhoto is one of the few apps I often take into full-screen mode, and so obviously I noticed today that they've kindly taken away the full-screen arrows in the top right-hand corner of the window in Yosemite.
Posting a question about that in Support revealed the 'new improved' way to go full-screen, which is to click on the green traffic light in the top left-hand corner of the window.
Fair enough, but how do I get my iPhoto window back to the size it was before I went full-screen? I tried clicking the green-button again, but that insists on the window being what I call 'maximised', ie. spread across the entire width of my desktop. I want to snap from full-screen back to the window size I had before going full screen.
The arrows in the top right-hand corner used to do that perfectly well, but they're not there any more so I'm having to resort to laboriously re-sizing my window each time, which is far from ideal.
Anyone able to advise me please?

Do we know if it is iPhoto-specific, or do all app windows behave in this way?
Actually, I suppose I could find that out for myself...

  • DPS Animation & Full Screen Video functionality failure when viewing mag in Adobe Content Viewer

    HI There,
Specifically the following issues are occuring when we view the mag through the Adobe Content Viewer on our Ipad.
All Title animations are not functioning at all (although in the SWF viewer they are working fine)
Although we select the media to be played full screen when we are setting up the videos in the media panel they won't play full screen, but play perfectly well in the place we put them. - full screen doesnt function in the SWF viewer either.
The control bars to control playing, stopping, full screen etc also don't appear on our videos we selected.  - doesn't function in the SWF viewer like it should with the control bars working
In terms of how we set everything up just to confirm we are doing it right.
    For animations.
    1. Select copy to animate
    2. Click on Animations panel, chose the preset fade in, selected the time 1.25seconds, animate from current appearance, fade in.
    For videos
Our videos are H264 Quicktime videos all 16x9 in ratio
    1. Went to media panel.
    2. Searched for file to insert
    3. Inserted it and sized down the actual physical size of the video to fit in the space we wanted (NB we didn't create a rectangle to put them in or anything)
    4. Chose the poster from file
    5. Selected skin over play full screen & show controller over rollover
Any help to sort this out would be appreciated.  Thanks so much in advance

    Hi BellaMove:
    For the animations:
You have to create a document with the size of the animation you want to create and give attributes using the animation panel of indesign.
Then you export to fla and using Adobe Wallaby pass it to HTML5.
Then place them by the panel Overlay Creator (Web Content). Using the Content Viewer can not see it on your desktop. You'll have to climb the publication in the ipad to see the result.
Do not forget to retouch the css. Read this:
    http://digitalpublishing.tumblr.com/post/3898796141/animate-headlines-or-other-things
Is the simplest way to make simple animations I've found.
I hope you find it helps

  • Full Screen Preview Choppy/Freezing

Ok I saw another post similar to this one, but it didn't seem to be exactly the same issue...
I recently started having a seemingly random issue with my external monitor. What happens is when I am previewing a movie, the preview window IN Final Cut works just fine, but the external monitor (where the video preview is full screened) shows the video for a second, then becomes really choppy, then freezes completely. All the while the preview window in FCP is still showing the video just fine. I have tried buying new Mini Display adapters (I've now tried both DVI and VGA), I bought a new DVI cable, a new VGA cable, I hooked it up to other external monitors, and it has the problem every single time. I also recently discovered that if I switch the video playback to "Desktop Preview - Main" (where it simply full screens the preview on my laptop screen) it has the same problem! Also, my external works fine in every other regard, only previewing has an issue. And this came out of nowhere! It was working just fine, then suddenly one day this was happening. Oh, and I have tried FCP 6.0 AND 7.0, both of which produce the same result... It was also suggested I mess with the timeline video settings and so far that hasn't proved helpful either.
    I am using a MacBook Pro 10.5.8 - 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo.
And like I said, I haven't changed a thing that feels like it would make this happen. It just suddenly stopped working...

Sounds like maybe it could be some sort of issue with your video card. NVidia, GTX, Radeon? Anyway, I would run a test using some a firewire I/O box. See if the problem persists sending to an external monitor from an AJA or some other breakout box.

  • Full screen w/ cropping?

I'm watching a video with 1024 height on my MacBook Pro, and it gets resized to the screens 900px height. However I set the preferences, the video will always display "fit to screen" instead of "original size". Is that a bug in QT 7.3.1 or is this just the way it is?
How can I set the video to play full screen, showing the actual pixels (cropping top and bottom pixels)? Maybe there is a hidden prefs file or something?
    Thanks,
    Stefan

Ok, I tried the new 7.4 version of QT at now it works as expected.
    Hooray Apple!

  • How to make keynote images full screen?

Question:  how to make keynote images full screen?  I just noticed. after many successful full screen shows with Keynote 09  5.1.1 that I am no longer seeing the show full screen, at 1280, but only using the center part of my macbook pro 13 inch screen (which will mirror just like that on the projection screen, as far as I know).  Did I hit a setting I do not know about to keep the images so small?
      Thanks

  • My full screen view button is missing from toolbar.

    Hi all
my full screen button is missing from the toolbar in iphoto11. I can make events into full screen with the arrows at top right of screen but I cannot get individual photos or events to open in full screen. Can anyone help please. thanks.

Which I think is the same in Word. Maybe the OP just uses the buttons on ToolBars.
Will check the Lion problem when I get home, which at this rate may be Christmas.

  • Youtube videos problem (volume slider + full screen)

    Hi!
I just bought a new laptop, and I'm trying to watch Youtube videos. I installed the latest version of Flash, and the videos at the default size play fine. However I cannot adjust the volume slider. I put my mouse over the icon and it shows the slider, but when I click to change the volume, the slider bugs out and slowly closes back to hide the slider, showing just the sound icon.
Then another bug is when I click to view the video full screen, the playback options at the bottom (play, pause, volume, etc) are hidden behind my Windows taskbar! Sometimes the video bugs out as well when I go to full screen, showing only one frame and it's all pixelated/torn.
This does not happen using Internet Explorer, the volume and full screen work fine there.
Any idea what's going on? I'm using the newest version of Firefox and Flash. (64 bit)
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

    Hi,
You can try disabling Flash Player hardware acceleration: right-click on a video and deselect '''Enable hardware acceleration'''. If the problem persists, you can also try disabling Firefox acceleration via Firefox '''Tools''' ('''Alt''' + '''T''') > '''Options''' > '''Advanced''' > '''General''' > '''Use hardware acceleration when available'''. Hello,
Please make sure that the next button is pinned to the right side as there in the attached image.
If it is already pinned, you can try removing any embedded HTML code and checking it.
