Advanced Mobile Propulsion Test is a small rocket engine testing company based in Durango, CO. We specialize in the testing of bi-propellant rocket engines for various industries as well as the development of testing capabilities. currently, we are looking to create an in house development team and begin working all of the new and exciting projects that have developed, and continue to do so. This is a full time salary position with benefits, but requires re-location to support projects and test services.
Job Description:
Become the second member of AMPT's software development team with a specialty in user interface development and implementation. Maintain our current in house testing, calibration, and analysis software while also providing the necessary upgrades and improvements. Work as a team to develop new test software and test stands for US and global clients with an eye towards maintainability and versatility. Respond to in house and customer software requests to enhance testing capabilities as well as participate in rocket engine testing if test crew support needed. You will exposed to LabVIEW FPGA, RT, Dev software systems and a large amount of cRIO and PXI hardware.
Job Requirements
BS degree Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering
1-2 years LabVIEW programming experience, C experience a plus
Demonstrate ability to organize and maintain code while working in a team environment on multiple projects

In infotype 0007(Planned Working Time), there is a flag that indicates if the employee is parttime or not.
For example, for Belgium there is a extra field Reg. workschedule in infotype 0007, that determines if the employee is full time, parttime, etc.

Major Responsibilities
* Help architect, design, implement and document all production and pre-production application environments. Work with application architects and software engineers to define requirements and standards. Develop and implement plans for deploying new services in a highly automated environment.
* Ability to design and build tools to support a dynamic production website
* Provide day to day operational support for all production and pre-production applications
* Play leadership role in project planning, design and implementation of new services and applications
* Work with teams to improve manageability of internally developed applications
* Be knowledge expert on various third party applications (especially Oracle Application Suite)
* Release internally developed applications across many environments
* Work with teams to investigate and improve security as it relates to applications and processes
* Participate in 24x7 on-call support for the companys production systems
* Actively participate in the development and improvement of a monitoring system(s)
* Maintain effective working relationships with other IT Staff members, internal customers and technical staff at collocation providers
* Mentor junior staff on technology and best practices
* Ability to anticipate and proactively manage issues before they become major problems
Required Skills
* In-depth system administration experience with Linux or Solaris operating systems running e-commerce applications
* Experience maintaining and deploying environments with Oracle Application Suite and Oracle database servers
* Strong knowledge of Unix shell scripting
* Production website operational experience
* Experience working with ticketing systems and change management processes
* Ability to be a member of a close-knit team that shares responsibilities for all areas it supports
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to produce usable and maintainable documentation
* Demonstrate problem solving abilities and initiative
* Ability to deliver projects on schedule
* Strong knowledge of networking as it relates to systems, security and availability
* Ability to provide a professional interface to internal and external customers and vendors
Preferred Skills
* Extensive Oracle Application Suite experience (Oracle OID, BPEL, Portal, Toplink, OC4J, OEM)
* Strong scripting and automation experience
* Light Oracle database administration experience
* Linux certification or Linux expert
* Network Operations experience
* Operational experience with Oracle 9i and 10g databases on Linux
* Knowledge of networking and HA technologies, like F5 Labs BigIP?
* Windows application knowledge and familiarity with Windows Server (AD) infrastructure
* Must understand risk management practices and how they apply to service level agreements
* Experience with ITIL processes

software and National Instruments hardware. Circuit design for
integration of external transducers and control units is also
available. I can do PCB layouts and fabrication for professional
quality circuit construction. Signal processing and data analysis are
