Full Track of music not playing to the end.

Itunes, shows a track lasting 3.57 Mins but only plays 19seconds before moving to the next track. Why and do I get to hear the whole track.

Bob - A few things to try:
Get Info, and look at the "Options" tab to make sure a "Stop Time" didn't somehow get set.
See whether the file plays correctly in another player (e.g. QuickTime), to make sure the file is not damaged.
If it is a purchased song, delete it from your library and download a fresh copy.

A couple of months ago, I went to the Apple Store to try and sort this problem out. I was told that I was not playing my songs out of an actual music library. I created a library and loaded all of my songs, movies, etc. onto it. I had found that when I synced my songs from the new library onto my itouch, the songs no longer stopped in odd spots or bled into each other. To ensure that most of my songs had been fixed, I played the ones that were the most problematic. Fortunately, the songs play all the way through without any interruption. So far, I have not encountered the same problems that I had posted in my question. I apologize for not knowing the fellow's name who helped me with my iTouch at the Apple Store, but I would like to say how thankful and happy I am now that my iTouch no longer skips to the next song.
I know that other people have had this same issue with their iPods. If you encounter your music not playing correctly, I would suggest that making a new library and loading all of your music into the new one may help correct the problem. I hope that this helps.

Songs will not play to the end on only one of my computers

Some of the songs in my library will not play to the end. However, I have come to realize this is only happening on one of my computers. The computer I sync with. The same songs will play on my laptop and iPad. ??? What gives?

Just in case, check to see if "Crossfade songs" has been checked in your Playback preferences in iTunes. Here's a screenshot showing where to find it:
If it is checked, try unchecking it and click OK.

I am using Encore CS5 and my DVD is a DUAL LAYER
I have created a DVD of a dance show. I have a PLAY ALL button that plays the full show but on the timeline I have created CHAPTER POINTS for each dance.
On a SUB MENU I have created a dance selection menu, the buttons on this menu point to CHAPTER PLAYLISTS that I have created, so for example I have 18 dances and I have created 18 CHAPTER PLAYLISTS with each one having every dance in it. I have applied end actions to every playlist to go back to the previous menu. When I preview the DVD in Encore the dance selection works fine, it plays that dance and goes back to the previous menu.
The problem I have is when I have created the image and watch it with VLC player or I burn it to a DVD some of the dance selections only play about 10 secs and not the full dance and then it will apply the end action and go back to the previous menu. This is extremely frustrating!!!!!!!!
Has any one experienced anything similar or have any idea why this is happening.

From the rest of what you said, I assume you mean that each chapter playlist includes ONLY ONE dance in it. If you mean what you said in this sentence, you want only one dance in each chapter playlist.
Make sure that you have no end actions on any chapters. While you are looking at that, make sure that you have no overrides anywhere in the project. It doesn't matter whether you are sure you did not add any. There is the inadvertant click, and I have had Encore add chapter end actions when working with its timeline.
If all is as it should be, burn a test disk, and confirm you see the problem from a DVD player. I find VLC a great test option, but it does not handle slideshows, so I'd test beyond it.

I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the item that is not playing properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the item, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" link next to the item.

Just downloaded the latest version of itunes now most of my tracks will not play to the end of the song.

Hi just installed latest update to itunes and have just noticed that it will no longer play my tracks all the way to the end mainly stopping around 8 sec from the end has anyone else had this problem have all ready tried deleting libery and re-installing it but still doesnt work. please help
PS All songs play ok though Media Player so not corupted data.

Music not playing in the iPod/Music app

Randomly there are songs that show as playing but the counter never advances past 0:00. Other songs work fine. If I remove the entire library then re-add all the songs, no issues. But that is really annoying. I'm sure it's playing because it even has the play icon in the status bar, yet nothing happens...the song doesn't play, no sound, and the scrub/counter never advances. I saw that this was a problem in iOS5 beta but seriously, they didn't fix this bug? If it matters these are songs purchased from iTunes. iOS 5.01

Hard reset, as in plug in to iTunes, select your device, click restore. You will be able to recover data by syncing first and then select Restore from backup when it's done.

I downloaded a track but it stops playing before the end?

Using iTunes I purchased and downloaded a track that says it is 1hr 18mins long. However when I play it, it stops abruptly after 42mins and 22secs. Would really appreciate any advice on how to get the full track!

Missing in this equation were the version of Premiere Elements that you were using and the computer operating system on which it was running. But...
The deed is done. But.....Until now and after you went ahead and moved to version 12, we now learn what version of Premiere Elements you were using. We still do not know the computer operating system involved.
You just said Premiere Elements 10. Premiere Elements 10 is hit by a serious known display issue if the computer uses a NVIDIA GeForce video card/graphics card. In this issue, the only remedy is to roll back the driver version to about May 2013. The description of the problem and how to do the roll back are described in one of the Announcements at the top of this forum. What video card/graphics card does your computer use?
On another front, Adobe will be releasing a new version of Premiere Elements any day now. No one but Adobe knows the feature set for the new version. That type of information is announced at the moment of release of the new version.
So the remedy to the problem that you presented in this thread could have been...
1. Rolling back the NVIDIA GeForce driver version to about May 2013 if possible (Windows 8 or 8.1 64 bit, may not be possible)
2. Move to another version of Premiere Elements (which you did)
I offer the above for consideration so that you can review your decisions. We are pleased to learn that Premiere Elements 12/12.1 works for you.

After a long session upgrading to 5.0, I am left in a position where my music library will not play! The tunes can be selected and appear normal - but am unable to initiate the music to play.
