Fullscreen slideshow mystery...

Hey guys,
Is there anyway of making the fullscreen slideshow display behind the master page headerbar? To clarify, when I set a header bar/logo on my master page then go to a child page (with the master applied to it) and activate a fullscreen slideshow, the slideshow completely covers it up. I've tried various things and nothing seems to be working. The only solution I've found is to disable the master page link on that one child page and locally stick a header bar/logo in there, but it kind of screws up the layout.
Thoughts from anyone smarter than me are very welcome!
Cheers!

Hmmm I don´t know If I understood well but maybe this tut can help you, I found It quiet usefull

anyone know if i can make a text effect like in this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gRyPj...1CA12E38536E7C
the moving one that starts in 0:23
and also the font too. can i do it in final cut pro x? or maybe iMovie? thanks guys!
You can use any font available on your system, so if the font is there, or can be bought or downloaded, just use it.
As for the effect, if you mean the text flowing from right to left, you can do it in FCP X pretty easily. Either use a title meant for that sort of movement (like Alex4D Ticker+, which is a free download), or just use a static title like Basic, enter a long text and keyframe the position.
As for the big shake, you may try the "Earthquake" effect that comes standard with FCP X.

  • Fullscreen Slideshow blurred why ?

The new Fullscreen Slideshow is very nice. But i have one Problem. I really have very sharp images but when I pack it in the slideshow and open my Page with the browser.
All pictures in the Fullscreen Slideshow are blurred but why?

What are the pixel dimensions of your monitor?
The pixel dimensions for an Apple 30" Cinema Display or a 15" Retina MacBook Pro are both 2560x1600.
At present Muse is resizing your full screen slideshow hero images during export/upload/publish to a size that's dependent on their size in Muse Design view. That was an unfortunate choice on our part. For a pending 7.x update of Muse the behavior will change to limit images to 2048 pixels in their largest dimension.
A 4 megapixel image is generally a large download and thus the impact on page load time should be considered.

  • Fullscreen slideshow widget

Does anyone out there know how a close button can be added to the full screen slideshow? The close button is available with a fullscreen slideshow in the lightbox mode but is not available when the lightbox check box is unchecked

    Hi Mark,
Yes, you are right the close button is not available with the full screen slide show and is only there when you check the light box option. This is an intended behavior, as the full screen slide show can't be closed and it will remain there on the page. If you want to temporarily show the slideshow and then close it, you will need to use the lightbox option.
There is no option in Muse at this point to have the lightbox enabled by default when the page is visited. You can add this to the ideas section on the forums.

  • Fullscreen slideshow 'DOWNSCALE ONLY' option please

Currently images pixelate and lose quality when browser viewport is sized larger than the image. This is not acceptable for a photography gallery.
Please include 'DOWNSCALE ONLY' option for fullscreen slide shows.
I don't want to have to use huge images to cover every screen size possibility, because the images take too long to load.
Every slideshow product I've ever seen has a 'downscale only' option to avoid image pixelating in a larger browser viewport.
Why is this still not an option in Muse fullscreen slideshow?

    Of course there is!
Simply connect the audio L+R (white and red) plugs directly to the audio input source you want to use, such as the import source of your stereo (you may need to use extension RCA/phono cables, 2 male to 2 female). The composite video (yellow) plug, or S-Video if using the Photo Dock, will stay connected to your chosen TV or monitor source.

  • Fullscreen Slideshow suggestion?

Anyone have any tips on a fullscreen slideshow?
Issues with Viewer navigation swipe being overridden by Overlay slideshow navigation swipe.
Would this simply be better to do in HTML? Any examples to use?
    Dave

As you've noticed, it's not a good idea to rely on swiping with full-screen slideshows. You can get yourself stuck. One option is to use Auto Start to Tap to Play/Pause, which will still let you swipe to the next article. If you really want to enable swiping, consider creating a near full-screen slideshow (1024x~680) to leave room for a title bar that allows article navigation.

  • Moving fullscreen slideshow widget.

I'm trying to add a fullscreen slideshow to the top of my page. Anytime I add the widget however, it always positions itself in the middle of the site. I can't find any option to move it and even adjusting the page height, footer, header, etc.... just makes the slideshow reposition itself to the middle.
An example of what I'd like is the wild isles preview always shown where just below the main navigation they have a fullscreen slideshow. Is this possible?

Ok I done exaclty what you described and I got what you got in your screen shots above ... then AFTER I resized the Font Size to 200px I then (as I suggested) resized the white boxes individually, to a width of 175 NOT the Font Size but the actual box themselves using the white handles around the boxes, when they are selected ... I repositioned them accordingly ... after that they looked right ... ... as seen in my screenshots below ... the only difference being, I resized the white boxes which you didn't list in the numbered list, in your reply, above? ...
Did you mean that resizing the Font was actually resizing the boxes? ... could it be a misunderstanding? ... ...
    My setup:

  • Fullscreen Slideshow Widget Bugs

Overall I'm happy with the new Fullscreen Slideshow Widget but noticed a couple things
Touch does not work on Surface 2
Tested no an iPad and swipe works until you hit the last slide. You need to hit the arrow buttons or swipe back to the previous slides

Touch does not work on Surface 2
For whatever reason, Microsoft with IE chose to implement a different API for touch than any other touch device. Today the output of Muse supports swipe on Android and iOS. I expect as Windows 8 devices gain marketshare we'll invest the engineering resources to add IE-specific code for swipe.
Tested no an iPad and swipe works until you hit the last slide. You need to hit the arrow buttons or swipe back to the previous slides
This basically mimicks the most common behavior of swipe on iOS devices. In the future we're likely to add functionality and user control to support a choice between having collections stop at the first/last item when swiping or having a continuous loop behavior.

  • Fullscreen slideshow not working properly on Chrome

Firefox, explorer and safari return no problems, but on chrome, whenever I scroll down there's background fill going up over the slideshow until it's fully covered.
What is happening here? I tried a lot of things but nothing works.

    Ok
I have a fullscreen slideshow on the bottom layer. On the higher layers there is multiple content with text, slideshows, thumbnails etc.
The idea is to show always de fullscreen slideshow as a background.
As I said, it only crashes on Chrome.
When I start scrolling, the slideshow starts getting covered from foot to head by the browser fill. As if the browser fill was being displayed over the slideshow.
It's not that the slideshow scrolls up beacuse the images stand still all the time until they are fully covered by the browser fill.
    Thank you.

  • Parallax scrolling with fullscreen slideshow

I'm building a parallax site, in the first photo box, I want the photos to flip (as a fullscreen slideshow) for a few frames before it scrolls. Is this possible?

    Hi
With current Muse feature, this wont be possible as slideshow change can be either automatic or with scroll.
Few frames before scroll using the widget wont work because when you will insert the widget it will work when you will scroll or it would be automatic.
You can add this as feature request.
    Thanks,
    Sanjit

  • Fullscreen slideshow will not "slide" automatically

To make it easy for my collegues to show a slideshow in full screen with 5 sec. delay and a soft transistion, I have made one in Acrobat and expect people to run it with 1 click in their Acrobat Reader X. It seems like I can store these parameters in acrobat PRO X under: EDIT-PREFERENCES-FULLSCREEN. There you can take away the "Alert when document requests full screen",  set the speed of the full screen slideshow and ask it to loop. THE PROBLEM: even after saving the parameter the file wont start automaticilly to change slides. YES I know i can change the settings back to advance the show in Reader on each computer, but the hole point is to make a Oneclick experience. How can I pack the parameters into the file once and for all? PS You need a PC without Acrobat (only the reader) to remake my problem.

I had the same problem. Here is what you need to do:
    1. Collect all your videos in one folder on your Mac
2 Through iTune transfer them to iPad via photo. Now they will be on your iPad
    3. Open your presentation in Keynote on iPad.
    4. Delete he video.
    5. paste he video from your folder with the video in your iPad
    6. automate it to come as a cube.
    All set to go

  • Bridge_How Fit-to-Screen with different resolution pictures in Fullscreen/Slideshow

    Hallo,
I´m looking for a solution for my following problem:
I have several photographs in totally different resolutions. Some are pretty small, some are huge.
I want to show them with Bridge in FullScreen-Preview or maybe as a slideshow.
How can i bring them all to fit the whole screen, even if the resolution is to small to fit regularly.
In other words, is there an option for dynamic zooming to bring every frame to FIT the Screen, regardless which resolution it got?
I discovered "scale to fit" in the slideshow options, but it doesnt work for me.
An zooming every file in the right position and size is not an option.
Im sure Bridge is able to do it, beacause even IrfanView and ApplePreview are able. But where to find this option?
    Can anybody help?
    Thank you a lot
    best regards
    madlo

As far as I know, Bridge will not enlarge small images. If you hit '+' on fullscreen preview, it zooms in, but keeps the same zoom for every image.

  • Adding a widget to fullscreen slideshows

    Hi,
I know this feature isn't available yet but I think it's long past due. I'd like to add buttons to each slide that would slide with the picture - does anyone know any good work-arounds that would keep the slideshow at a 100% fullscreen proportion?
    Cheers,
    D

    Hi Darcy,
You can't have any other content other than an image in the Slideshow Widget frame. You can instead use a Composition Widget to acheive what you want, however it does not have a Fullscreen option available. But it can accommodate any kind of content inside its target frame, even other widgets.

  • Open picture files and display in fullscreen slideshow?

I'm hoping for some help as I'm very new to LabView and quite lost....
I have a directory with many picture files (too many to put them all in
a powerpoint slideshow) and i want to open them one by one and display
them full screen with no border around them (not in a picture box, but
as displayed in a powerpoint slideshow).
I'm trying to use activeX to call the default "Preview" application for
windows, (which is able to run a slideshow when opened manually from
the directory).  In the LabView VI, when the slideshow runs, it
takes over the full screen, as it should, however, the images are not
shown.  The screen says "no preview available".  I've messed
around with it a lot and just can't get it to work.
Any other application or any other way of displaying the images full
screen would be acceptable, if you know of any.  I've also tried
the adobe acrobat browser 7.0, which has a full screen option, but i
can't seem to get that one to work either.  Attached is a copy of
    my code.
Any help or advice would be much appreciated.  Thanx.

The easiest would be to set the window not to have toolbars, scrollbars, etc. and to fill the entire screen and to scale all objects with the windows (these can be found in 2 pages of the File>>VI Properties dialog). If you resize your FP so your picture indicators fills it before doing this then any resizing of the window will resize the indicator as well. You can then use the Zoom property to enlarge the picture. To calculate how much to zoom you can divide the size of the picture by the Application>>Display>>Primary Workspace property.
Another option would be to use property nodes to change the Draw Area Size of the picture to fill the screen and to resize the picture itself using something similar to the method demonstrated here.

  • Fullscreen slideshow to swipe.

I need help in setting up slideshows. Got an Artikel with 3 pages and several pictures. When the user clicks on one picture, there should a full screen slideshow coming up. The user should be able to swipe through all pictures and choose the pictures from little thumbnails in the bottom as well to end the slideshow the user taps on the picture to Return to the article. I tried it with the standard slideshow settings in the content builder but it was a mess and did not work.

From that description, it sounds like you’re going to need to build that as an HTML article to get everything you want.
