Fully controlled bridge

Hi:
I need some help. I gonna control the speed of DC motor, so I gonna use a single-phase fully controlled bridge rectifier. I have a NI USB-6008, with it a goona make the pulses to the scr's; so I need to know how can I synchronize this pulses with the frecuency of the source??, and how can I move this pulses to vary the speed?.
Thank you

If you can find the zero cross, you can synchronize your pulses, wherever you want as the frequency is stable, 50 Hz (or 60Hz).
You just measure time inside one half-period. Then another zero cross will occur, and you restart measuring time.
The only thing i am not sure, is that you probably need a real-time software to do that. If you rely on windows... you will have problems, for sure...

  • ARD 3.6.1 - unable to fully control a client over the web

    I am controling a mac mini at a remote location.
    I have the remotre system set up using DYNDNS. The router at that location has ports 3283 and 5900 open, pointing towards the IP of the mac mini. Remote Access is enabled with all priviledges checked.
    I am able to set up the connection as well as see and control the machine - no problem.
    I am however uable to copy files, install packages, update client software and generate reports. ARD tell me the system does not support that procedure.
    Any advice on this?
    Thanks in advance,
    Tobias

    Ok, now I am getting a different message, when trying to copy a file to the machine saying that the ARD Client is not active....
    How do I activate it?

    Any advice?

  • Speedfan control of "CPUFAN"

    I am talking about a Z68A GD55B3 at the moment, but this issue dates back at least to P35 boards. I cannot control CPUFAN from within speedfan. SYSFAN1 is also a 4-pin header, yet I can control the speed of it. It doesn't matter if I turn on fan control in the BIOS or not, it seems that software control of CPUFAN is blocked. Is there any way around this? I need it to act like the other 4-pin header (SYSFAN1).
    Thanks in advance for input!

    All your posts are absolutely correct. But allow me to explain what I would like to do and please give it consideration.
    I have not seen any aftermarket controllers that offer software control, but I'm open to suggestions. I'm not interested in going to the machine and turning the fans on every time it goes from idle to heavy use, and back off again after. Not to mention if I forget and overheat it.
    My goal is to have a passive system at idle. This is far from unreasonable, with c-state, c1e and Intel's turbo function... If you have a decent HSF on a sandy bridge CPU, you might even get away with fanless under load, though I have not tested that. You can even get fairly powerful video cards with fanless heatsinks now. If you can, why not? It's quiet, saves power and fan life, and lessens the need to open a case and clean heatsinks.
    I connected a 4-pin fan to the CPUFAN header and I can control it, but I don't know of any 4-pin (PWM) fans that will stop completely. I can fully control a 3-pin fan from the (also 4-pin) SYSFAN1 header, which leads me to believe that not being able to control a 3-pin fan on the CPUFAN header is a "feature" for safety and not a hardware limitation of 4-pin headers. Is it the intent of MSI to prevent people from unwittingly cooking something? If so, I understand, but I would like to lobby for a BIOS setting to bypass this. The past 5 to 10 MSI boards I have purchased have not allowed variation of a 3-pin fan on the CPUFAN header. My old P35 board allows control of 3 sysfan headers but newer MSI boards only have control of 2, so I need that CPUFAN header more.
    I have Abit and Asus boards that coincide (chipset-wise) with the MSI boards that don't allow 3-in control of the CPU header. I will test them to see if this is just an MSI thing or if it's industry wide. Passive cooling has merit, and I believe passive at idle is the wave of future. GPUs and CPUs are more and more efficient every year, I'd like to see better options than 4-pin fans that will only slow to 600RPMs from MSI. So my question now is, is there a physical difference between CPUFAN and SYSFAN1 (both 4-pin), and if not, could we lobby for a new setting in the BIOS that would allow CPUFAN to act just like SYSFAN1?

  • Adobe Bridge CC not playing After Effects CC animations

    Hello,
    I am fairly new to After Effects and Adobe Bridge, and I recently ran into a problem.
    So, when I turn on After Effects , and in the Effects Panel , I click "Browse Presets", and then It opens Adobe Bridge. But when I single-click in any kind of an animation in Bridge, it's not playing it in the "Preview" panel.
    The little Windows's "picture icon" just starts zoomed in, and then it quickly zooms out.
    I'm using a freshly installed Windows 8.1 , and fully updated Bridge and After Effects.
    What might be the problem?
    If you want, I could also record the problem with a screen recorder and upload it to YouTube.
    EDIT : I just fixed the problem by updating Bridge to the latest version (CC 6.1)!
               The animations are playing smoothly without any problems! Just run the Adobe Update Manager, and update
               Bridge!

  • Bridge to PS CC 2014:  Error "Windows Cannot Find Photoshop CC" for PSD & TIFF files

    Since installing PS CC 2014, I have been unable to open PSD & TIFF files from within Bridge.  If I do- I get the error above.   Once Photoshop CC 2014 was installed, I removed the older version of PS CC.
    Sounds like a registry issue created when PS CC 2014 installed alongside PS CC; confusing Bridge of where to send Photoshop files.

    Looks like bridge is still trying to run the old version.  Did you uninstall Photoshop CC after installing Photoshop CC 2014?
    Have you made sure and fully closed Bridge and reopened it?  Logging off and back on would ensure that.
    Failing the above, people have reported success with using the Creative Cloud Cleaner tool followed by a reinstall of Photoshop CC 2014...

  • Windows cannot find Photoshop CS5 Error in Bridge

    This is really about Photoshop CS6 Beta but this error is generated whenever I tried to open a file from Bridge, either Bridge [12.1 or 13.0].  It was frustrating at first.
    I tried to figure out why I was receiving this message.  Originally, I had Photoshop CS5 on my system.  Then, I upgraded to Photoshop CS5 Extended.  Finally, I installed Photoshop CS6 Beta.  After the last install, I decided to uninstall Photoshop CS5 which I no longer used.  These are 64-bit programs but I doubt that makes a difference.  Whenever I opened Bridge for Photoshop CS5 Extended or Photoshop CS6 Beta, the shown error would generate.  After reviewing the error closely, I decided to try and look at file associations but not in Windows as I had no problems elsewhere.  It must be in Bridge.
    I went to Edit -> Preferences and found a File Type Associations section with every file type it uses.  Sure enough, by clicking on the triangle to the right of the file type, it showed only Photoshop.  By clicking on Browse and going to the Photoshop CS6 Beta folder, I was able to change a couple of the ones I use exclusively and clicked OK.  Afterwards, no problems.  To change each and every one of those is going to require some time on my part.
    This brings up an important question regarding upgrades.  I think most of us upgrade before uninstalling the old version.  Here are my questions:
    1. Why did not the Bridge associated with the extended version change the file associations to the appropriate version of CS5 when it was installed?
    2. Why did not the Bridge associated with Photoshop CS6 Beta change the file associations to this version when installed?
    At the very least, it should be an option but I think it should actually point to the new version.  Is this a bug in the Bridge software?  I know Bridge is used for other Adobe applications but this definitely seems to be a bug when the only application iis Photoshop.  I have Lightroom 4 also installed but this application does not use Bridge.  Can this be corrected?

  • Bridge-group 1 in a WLAN environment

    I'm configuring some AP 1130 AG.
    For customer requirements I cannot use the VLAN 1 but in particular a VLAN 102 for the management and the VLAN 117 for the WiFi users. At this point I configured the switch port in trunk with the vlan 117 and 102 as native. In the AP I configured a fast ethernet interface0,vlan- id with the vlan-id ugual to the native vlan (102) I wrote also encapsulation dot1q 102 native. As bridge-group I tried to leave the bridge-group 1 but I lost the connection. If I put as bridge-group 102 all is ok. Why? I know that It is not necessary to specify the bridge group to which the FastEthernet interface 0.native_vlan_number belongs. It will be associated by default to the bridge group 1 used for the administration of the access point. I don't understand why? is there a link between bridge group 1 and vlan 1 (that I put down in the switch)?

  • 1242AG Bridge, VLAN and Multiple SSIDs

    I have two buildings that I'm trying to configure a bridge in between them using 2 1242AG APs.
    Building A
    PCOFFICE SSID on VLAN 200 Radio G
    ROOT_1 SSID on Native VLAN 1 Radio A
    Root Bridge
    Building B
    FDAPC SSID on Native VLAN 1 Radio G
    ROOT_1 SSID on Native VLAN 1 Radio A
    We are using directional antenna.  I know they are lined up properly because I have them both down and in front of me.  I'm getting an error on the Building B AP that says "
    No SSID with VLAN configured. Dot11Radio1 not started." and I'm unable to get this to work.  The bridge was working before I added the VLAN and encryption/WPA information for the PCOFFICE and FDAPC SSIDs
    Any assistance would be amazing.  Thanks!  Please see attached files for configurations.  I know the switch is configured properly because I had this working before and forgot to save the damn configuration off the devices.  I'm not having to do it over from scratch.

    That did not work.
    I've managed to fix the ROOT_1 and FDAPC... now I'm having an issue where I can attempt to connect to the PCOFFICE SSID but I'm unable to get a DHCP address from the server.
    Here is the config for the AP with PCOFFICE on it and the switch.

    Hello Marek,
    I suppose you are not planning to do any kinds of advanced config using several VLANs and multiple SSIDs so let's just make your configuration simple and working.
    In short, you need to remove all references to VLAN 1 and to any subinterfaces possibly related to the VLAN 1. This means in particular (follow these steps in sequence):
    Remove the Dot11Radio0.1 subinterface entirely
    In the Dot11Radio0 section, remove the encryption vlan 1 mode ciphers tkip command
    In the dot11 ssid ciscowifi section, remove the vlan 1 command
    After performing these steps, make sure that the ssid ciscowifi and encryption mode commands are still present in the Dot11Radio0 configuration, and if not, reenter them.
    Best regards,

    Hi -
    I'm trying to configure two Aironet 2602e (with external antennas) to form a bridge between two buildings. I can't figure out how to get them to run faster than 54 Mbit between them. Currently they just sit at my desk in a test-setup. I think, I should maybe set them up as Workgroup-bridges instead of root-to-non-root, but I don't get other speed options than those 54 Mbit. Also I think it should be done at 5 GHz radio.
    Could it be something with encryption mode or is it only possible through CLI or...
    Please help
    Sincerly
    Nicholas

    That was a fast response!

  • DHCP over wireless bridge

    I want to setup a wireless bridge going from a current network (siteA), to a new small network across the street (siteB). I have 2 Cisco 1131AG Access points. I have no need for any client access, only the bridge. I have the interfaces up and can ping across, however, no dhcp requests seem to come over the bridge. Where am I going wrong??

    Have you tried configuring Site A as root bridge and Site B as non-root bridge.

  • 1941W bridge issues

    I'm trying to setup a (what I think to be) simple wireless network using a Cisco 1941W integrated services router. Currently running this on a test environment behind a little Linksys router/modem combo (at 192.168.0.1). I would like to use the 2.4ghz radio as a root access point for clients to gain access to both the wired network (currently at 192.168.2.0) and the external network (currently at 192.168.0.1). Wireless clients are set to 192.168.1.X.
    I can ping external IPs from the router (ie google.com), ping all the interfaces on the AP (BVI interface and clients). From the AP I can ping all the interfaces on the router, I can't however leave the router at all (ie ping 192.168.0.1, google). Been playing with this for a while so there might be some extras in my config but:

  • 1252 Access point bridge problems

    Hello
    Currently im trying to deploy solution for external people as somethink like quest connection (in config name is public.net)
    The only spare AP i have is cisco 1252
    After research in setup whitchport as trunk for management vlan (which must be done) and for me entire config seems to be good. Im able to connect to ssid, but im unable to browse web, when connected.(still receiving 169. ip addres)
    Im able to ping default gateway,able to ping dhcp server. Think is, when checking bridge, receiving is ok, but nothing is being transmitted.
    Vlan 192 is our vlan just for public conenction, works correctly on other aps.
    Btw same problem is have with 1142.
    I think there must me missing something specific for this two models (as was that management vlan must be native on switch side)
    any ideas please?

  • Bridge looses cache folder tree window when I rename parent folder

    I managed to activate the code to change the name of the parent folder containing some images (I put an underscore before de parent folder name).
    When I did it by hand, the folder and subfolders I was navigating on were visible on the folder window (left side)
    But I lose the navigation of folders in the left window when I do exactly the same by code.
        var newPath = decodeURI(Path.parent)+"/_"+name;
        var bt = new BridgeTalk();
        bt.target = "bridge";
        // as acções do bridge contêm 1. colocação do _   2. label  3. organização dos ficheiros por tipo
        bt.body = "app.document.thumbnail =Folder('"+newPath+"').fsName;";
        bt.send(8);
        bt.pump();
    ... and the left navigation desapears...
    Is there same cache loosing problem? Can I recreate the last folder navigational window some how with code?

    I can't believe I found it, but it works and it is simple.
    At the same time, I spent 2 years using Bridge the wrong way and if I had an Adobe Bridge dev here, I wouldn't be very happy.
    Why Adobe simply can't give straight and direct answers like this case?
    When i rename a app.document.presentationPath, I usually returned to its parent folder on first place and then refresh() this one.
    Then I would go back to the new renamed folder.
    Problem:
    The 'Content' panel was OK and refreshed but the 'Folders' panel was not: the last non-renamed folder was still there and I always needed to close its parent folder on 'Folder' panel, click F5, and reopen making that ghost folder to disappear.
    The solution is simple and logical but sadly it took 2 years for me to solve it.
    I only needed to start dealing with the node string containing a fully qualified Bridge URI (uniform resource identifier).
    For example:
    var origin = Folder(app.document.presentationPath);
    var renamedFolderName = 'v_'+ Folder(app.document.presentationPath).name;
    app.document.thumbnail = new Thumbnail(new Folder(app.document.presentationPath).parent); // back to parent folder
    Folder(origin).rename(renamedFolderName ); // renaming
    app.document.thumbnail.refresh(); // refreshing the parent folder
    app.document.thumbnail = new Thumbnail(new Thumbnail(Folder(Folder(origin).parent + "/" + renamedFolderName ).fsName).uri); // the uri is the node (fully qualified Bridge URI)
    And... the 'Folders' panel was updated correctly and the ghost folder vanished!

  • AP 1242AG Bridge

    Hi
    I'm looking for some help.  I've created a wireless bridge using WGB at switch end and Root Bridge at remote end.
    This worked fine, till  I tried to add vlans to it.
    VLAN 20 data/native and VLAN 30 Voice.
    I created the VLANs on both ends and assigned to antenna.  Now I'm not able to get the ping.
    On the WGB AP Click on ASSOCIATION - it shows the Infrastructure 1 and the corrent OP and MAC as assaciated on vlan 20.
    Click on the Root Bridge end, States Association Processing.
    Any help would be great
    cheers

    Hi Surendra
    Since sending the last post, I reset the APs again to factory setting and started again.  This time I did get them to link, but they seem to now freeze, can't ping, telnet, web.  LEDS showing as normal.
    The config is attached , it's basic at the minute, trying to get them to say up and pass DHCP.
    I'm trying to get VLANs 20 as infrasturture and VLAN 30 for Voice.
    Cheers
    Craig
