Function in namespace not found

Question

I'm trying to move out small piece of code to just prepare and execute some xquery function. I do exactly the same thing as in main branch, but in moved out code I'm getting the error:
(6, "Error: Function 'xxx' in namespace 'http://www.my.com' with 1 argument is undefined [err:XPST0017], <query>:3:1") _dbxml.XmlQueryParserError
In main code branch everything is working. I'm preparing exactly the same code, I’m creating Manager with same code, query context with the same code (setup namespace prefix and namespace for it), but getting this error. What can be a cause of this error, I can't find any difference in the code.

Here is the Python code I'm trying to execute query with. And xquery file itself is common.xquery in the package I've uploaded to ftp earlier.
