Function Module for conversion from one UOM to any other UOM

Hi All,
I need to convert a quantity value that user inputs in any UOM and want to convert this Quantity to 'KG'  in CRM
Can any one please tell me any Function Module to do so? 
NOTE: I need this in CRM

Hi ,
i'm using the conversion function UPX_CRM_CONVERSION_FACTOR in planning layout where there is in column the calendar week.
So when select one week, the function return 0 instead if i select more than one week, only on the last week, the conversion factor is 0.
Why this function have this behavior? I would that the conversion factor is the same for all week.

    Can someone give me a function module, which will convert the Unit of measure into basic unit of measure
    Say a a material has 3 CA (Cases) in a PO and the conversion factor(UMREZ in table MARAM) for CA for that material is 4 and converison for MP (Master pack) is 12,then
    3CA =  9 PC = (9/12) MP
    But I want a function module which will do this conversions ?

    u can use INT1[] = INT2[] to pass internal table value to internal table of FM
    if structures are not same then
    u will have to loop thru int1 and move values selectively to int2 and everytime append int2

  • Best way to copy table from one database to any other database

    I need to write an application to perform database table copy from one kind of database to another kind of database.
    I just wrote a simple JDBC program which essentially does the something like below:

    I am using now batch update mechanism and set the fetchsize of resultSet cursor.
    Now I need to copy a table with almost 10 million records to the target database. My program works fine but it takes more than 3 hours.
    I am copying from Postgres table to MS SQL server table.
    Is there any other way or more better appraoch to make this more faster?

    my requirement is , I am having a fiscial year ( gjahr) and period ie month (monart) . Now i need afunction module that gives the last date of the month. say if it is january it should give 31 - month-year. I want to populate this date to the budat field. so please tell me how to solve this issue. i want to pass as date-month-year to budat. but i am having year as seperate field and month as seperate field. so please tell me the function module that gives all the three or any other solution to this.

    populate month, year u have and 01 into w_datum in and it should always give day1 of that month like this.

  • Error in function module  for inbound processingwhile testing from we19

    hi,
    I have developed a custom function module for processing inbound idoc for creating material using bdc...the problem is that when i am trying to test my idoc using we19 and calling my function module in debug mode an error is displayed showing 'interface for function module is incorrect' and also i am unable to see my function module in debugging mode.It is only displaying the error message...
    I have given all the parameters necessary (import,export or tables) and found no error in the interface...I think the problem is appearing before my function module is being called....Also on seeing the short dump analysis I have seen that the error is in the form 'Idocs passed to application' which is not a part of the function module developed by me...
    I am unable to understand why this error message is being displayed...
    Please help me out of this..

    ya i know that ..But I wanted to create a simple one..moreover the problem is not with bdc....It is with the function module interface..
    Also I want to ask a question that I had to define all the parameters (in the function module ) by data declaration statements in the function group top include..
    If i dont do that say the first error is when i write loop at idoc_contrl ..idoc_contrl is not declared by a data statement..So IO had to write a data statement:
    Idoc_contrl type table of edidc..I have seen that in other function modules (idoc inbound processing)  no such data declaration is done..

    maybe it has function modul for read the order number from transaction VA02.

    I think is better recover the data directly from DB tables (in table LIPS you have the fields VGBEL, VGPOS, VGTYP ) if you only want the order number.
    With the delivery number you only need to acces 1 table. If you use a FM, you will recover this data and a few fields that is not interesting for you. The access to table LIPS is using table index (delivery number)
