Function module to get the 'first day of next month'

Hi
I have a selection screen with input fields
1. period (month eg: 07)
2.year(fiscal year eg: 2008 )
If user enters 07 as month and 2008 as year, then I have to display 08/01/2008(MM/DD/YYYY) as output.
Requirement is to calculate the 'first day of next month'
I have written code for this requirement.But I am asked to use function mdule.
Please help me in this regard.

HR_JP_MONTH_BEGIN_END_DATE
it gives the Begin Date and End date of the month

First day of next month

Hi,
My requirement is to display the first day of next month when a month and year are selected in the dashboard prompt. .
I have 2 prompts, one for Month and the other for Year.
For example if an user selects 2012 for Year and 09(September) for Month, my column in the report should display 10/1/2012
Please help in getting this logic working.
I am using OBIEE 10.1.3

Use min(date), this always return first day of selected Year,month
Then add a month to this date.
Or else get the date of the month and use at DATE
TIMESTAMPADD(SQL_TSI_MONTH, 1, TIMESTAMPADD( SQL_TSI_DAY , DAYOFMONTH( DATE) * -(1) + 1, DATE))

Instead of using the funtion module you can just write the 3 statements of code to get the first day of the week.
Its similar to the above one but instead of writing case statement you can achive the following.
data : w_res type i,
w_data type d,
w_res = w_date mod 7.
w_date = w_date - w_res.
write w_date.
This works.

I have a Requirement to calculate the First day in a Week in a Fiscal year .
The FM GET*FIRST_DATE and all are for Calender year.
Is there any FM to calculate the First in a Week in a Fiscal year.
For eg. They will give 200826.
In this 26 is the Week.
I need to find the First date value in that Week.

 When I tested the FM in my Program, it is working!!!!!
 Note that the Two Input Dates are to be in the format of DATS type (Eg: vimimv-dmibeg).
U can want the Day which u have specified in the parameter I_DATUM_BIS (eg: 20050101) to be included for
the calculation , then put X in the parameter I_KZ_INCL_BIS.
Sample Code :
report zkam01.
data:
sav_nlaufz like rf60v-nlaufz,
date1 type vimimv-dmibeg,
date2 type vimimv-dmiend.
date1 = '20050101'.
date2 = '20051001'.
call function 'MONTHS_BETWEEN_TWO_DATES'

Function Module to get the TIMESTAMP

Is there any function module to get the TIMESTAMP as Outout , if i give input Time and Date.
Or,
If I go for the concatenate statement.. Do I need to concate the commas in to the target field?
Because,
I am not getting the proper result with this concatenate statement where I concatenated the YYYYMMDDHHMMSS in to the DECIMAL 15 Variable.

 Right now i am using the function module 'CU_READ_RGDIR' to get the sequence number based on the PERNR. Once i get the data i am filtering based on payroll periods (begin date and end date). Is there any function module to get the sequence number directly based on PERNR and payroll period dates? if so could you let me know.

Function module to get the configuration of Individual objects

Hi all,
Is there is any std function module to get the data of individual object configuration.
In table COM_TA_R3_ID, I can able to get the PRODUCT_GUID (for material and serial number) and I dont know how to get the configuration of the product by using the PRODUCT_GUID.
Pl through some light on this.

Hi,
You can get the item configuration using FM CRM_CONFIG_READ_OW.
This is used to read the product configurations for IPC calls.
Just pass the configured item guid and it will return the configuration data.
Use FM CRM_PRODUCT_I_READ_OW to get the product configurations but this FM checks whether any item has this product guid.
