Function to omitt parts from a BOM
Hello,
I would like to know if there is a function that allows to delet a component from an assembly content into a BOM but without having to create a new assembly (a new sub BOM) for example if I usually use assembly B but this time I want to remove component B1 form that assembly, and the rest remain the same, can this be done? kind of a flag that you can put to say "I am using this thing but without this component" and that the exploted bom for that shows everythig but the ommited component? I don´t know If I said it clear but if not please let me know to find a way to say it

Do you mean to say if BOM 123 explodes then B1 component under B should not be included.
But say if BOM XYZ explodes then B1 component under B should be included?
If that is the need, then you can meet this need with a multi-level variant configured BOM. But if you're not working with variant configuration, then you will either have to create 2 BOM's & assign them accordingly or do manual intervention (have 2 alternatives, then depending on which BOM you're exploding, make one of the alternatives inactive, repeat process for the other - not user friendly) to meet your need.
But if the need is to permanently remove B1 from B irrespective of where it is used & if you're working with ECM, raise a new change request & modify the BOM with the new valid-from date. If not working with ECM, then delete the component from the BOM.

Calculating Qty of low-level parts in a BOM
The table has the following columns: Parent_Part, Component_Part, Qty_Per_Assembly. The top part in the BOM has a Parent_Part = 'TOP'.
So if I have 3 levels, the bottom component (lets call it part# 555xa) has a qty_per_assembly of 5 in its parent (part# 222xc), which is in the top level part 4 times. So the total number of 555xa parts in the top part is 20 (5x4).
Problem is, the 555xa might happen to be a 5/8 lock washer that is a component of many parts. So I need to run some PL/SQL to go through and calculate how many of these lock washers are actually in this main assembly. I made a function that calculates the quantity when the component_part is only used in ONE other part, but when it is in multiple ones, my function is not accurate.

All of the routing/relay information for the SCXI-1127 can be found in the NI Switches Help file. This file is located in the Start menu at Start » Programs » National Instruments » NI-SWITCH » Documentation » NI Switches Help. Once you have the file open, go to Devices » NI SCXI 1127/1128 » Hardware Diagram. This shows a diagram of all the relays and how they are connected in the switch, as well as their software names. Using this, have all of the information needed to make any route possible with the 1127. If you want to operate in the standard 4x8 matrix mode, that is fine as well, though I would suggest you you the SCXI-1332 terminal block since it was made with the proper internal wiring for the 4x8 matrix. Post serialized part from free to block stock with a follow up action
Hi,
I try to post a serialized part from free to block stock, but the standard function modules QMLR_FREE_TO_BLOCKED_STOCK, QMLR_FREE_TO_BLOCKED_STOCK_ST2 work good with not serialized parts, but it doesn't works with serialized one.
I create quality notification with serial number reference in RQM00-SERIALNR field, when I execute the follow-up function the M7175 error message appears.
Someone know a solution to this issue?

MariannaHi The standard FM will not update the serial no for the material. So when you are doing the material movement through follow up action system can not move the material with out serial no. So you can change the functional module aith help of abaper to fetch the data from quality notification field.

How to get a time part from Date datatype
Hi,
I would like to know how to extract the timestamp alone from DATE datatype? If my input is '27-SEP-2011 23:59:00' I need the output as 23:59:00. I am surprised to see that there are no in-built functions for this or may be I am wrong. Basically I need to remove the date part from DATE data type and get the time.Please assist.

To create child part from Parent Item - BLOW UP Master - Automatically ie. we receive FG from customer which we need to blow up to its child part. In that case, FG should be consumed & child parts should be generated in stock.
We tried with recursive, but the stock of FG was again generating with recursive.
Ex. FG after receiving from customer in stock 1
Child parts (with offtake 1) X1, X2, X3 in stock zero.
After processing, FG stock should be zero & X1, X2, X3 = 1.

NitinCreate a BOM for one of the "child" parts that has the "FG from customer" as a component and all the other child parts are negative quantity components (by products).
To make it simple have all the components backflushed and auto goods receipt the child in the BOM header. Create a production order, then process the confirmation (this will auto goods receipt the 1st child, consume by backflush the "FG from customer" and put the other child parts into stock as by products.
You will need to get your material prices correct first so that there is minimal variance in the production order. -
How do I copy/paste a part FROM GarageBand for iPad TO another app?
This is a feature that it looks like Apple have half-implemented but it's not complete...
I can paste parts TO GarageBand for iPad from numerous other apps no problem. I've done this with everyday looper, sunrizer, dm1, nlog, etc.
But when I try to copy parts FROM GarageBand it fails. I need to do this to, say, take a part I'm working on, listen to it in everyday looper, and compose an NLog synth part over the top. Or to take a part from GarageBand, add effects in Moog Filtron, and then paste it back to GarageBand. This is basic stuff you need to be able to do if you are using an app like GarageBand as your songwriting environment.
With functionality like this potentially blocked or not implemented, it makes GarageBand not the production solution it could be. Very much hope I'm being stupid and you can point out the way...Doesn't seem possible at the moment. It may well be in the pipeline already but you could always drop a line to GarageBand for iPad Feedback requesting such a feature...

How do I copy a GarageBand for iPad part from one song to another?
Surely this must be an obvious thing, but I see no way to do it.
I am working on 2 versions of song on my iPad. I want to copy a part from one song to the other.
I know I can duplicate the entire song, but that is not the same.
I really need help on this one and I'll be most disappointed if it's a basic feature Apple have not provided - I'm writing a soundtrack and at the moment and bought the app and to some extent the iPad especially to write on the road, but this will mean we have to abandon GarageBand for iPad entirely if its not possible.
The other secondary question is why can't you copy parts (using Sonoma copy/paste or similar) OUT of GarageBand into other apps? Another basic function Apple should not have skimped on. This is necessary to, say, apply an effect externally and bring it back to GarageBand for mixdown. I'll raise this separately too.

There will be several methods depending upon the your final objectives of such requirement.
In case you want to just maintain the spare part and the Equipment from which it has been removed, then use Catalog Codes. In the Object part Catalog maintain the Spare part in the Code part and the Equipment number in Item Text.
This method is hassle free.
In case the requirement's like physically identifying the spare-part etc., then the process would be very complex. You need to opt for not only Material Codes but also the Serialization of all these spare parts.
So you need to first consolidate your objectives of the requirement you have asked for. Then post a Query in detail explaining the objectives.
In most of the cases such requirements are satisfied with ideas like the 1st case I proposed, i.e., Catalogs & Codes.

That being said, there are a couple of options:
Create a subsequence with a single step. Use a parameter of the sequence as "function parameter".
Create a custom step type including a substep module which implements the function. Add an edit substep to enable the user of the steptype to gracefully change the parameter.
Store the variable parameter in a local/file global variable and modify the value in each step. This will, at least, keep the "function" the same for every step.

Yes, any audio during the "mirroring" funtion will forward to the appletv. This includes all system audio, games, apps, ect. If you slide the mute botton the side of your ipad to mute then you can block app audio and just get Music audio or Pandora if you are using pandora.

I am kind of new to the stored procedure. Does anyone know how to call a function inside a package from another stored procedure?
I have a existing function (func_b) inside a package (pack_a) and it returns a cursor. I want to call this function from a stored procedure (proc_c) so that I use the data inside the cursor.
can I do the following in proc_c:

Thank you for your information so far. I need some more help here. I was able to run the function in my stored procedure. However, I was not able to print the result on the screen to view the cursor result, although I am using dbms_output.put_line statement inside my stored procedure.
I use the following statement to execute my stored procedure on sql*plus. I can tell the stored procedure is executed successfully, but I did see anything printed:

I am making an interface class between a C library and an objetive C application.
I have not problem calling function the C library from .mm funstions,

Basically I can call objective C class methods from .mm files,
but I can not call functions who are not members of a class from .mm funtions.
Does any one knows how I can solve this?
I have two books on objective C and neither show how to do that.

Well, you've got me on this one. You are correct. Apparently you don't need to specify the parameter names. Still, I strongly encourage you to use parameter names. Even though they apparently aren't required, I've never seen them not used. I would have expected to see:
[ent GetBBoxMin: & minBox max: & maxBox]
The problem is calling C function that are declared in .m files.
if you read the errors, they are linking errors not compiler errors.
this is a C function that is declared in a .m file

beside I also use those functions in many other place as well in teh project and they work.
If it helps I can post a link to the a download place to the xcode project maybe it is eassy to see what I am trying to do.

but there is so much missing from what you've posted that I can't tell for sure what is going on. -

So, you will need to add an eventlistener to html2 and call the function from there:
