Functional Module or BAPI for changing Material Type

Hi,
There is a Transaction MMAM for changing the Material Type in SAP. Can anyone help me in figuring out a Functional Module which can change the Material Type like how MMAM transaction does. Is anyone aware of any FM or BAPI that can take import parameters as Material Number and New Material Type and change the material type to the New one.
I tried using the BDC but got some performance issues with it.

Could you please put some light on which part of the transaction MMAM is responsible in changing the Material type. I can understand that there may exist may checks in the Tx MMAM but I would like to know where is the material Type getting changed in the Tx MMAM. On going through the Tx MMAM I have across many forms and function modules but its difficult to track the form/Function Module responsible for changing the Material Type. Please help me in this.

I am trying to find a function module or BAPI for internal order change. I did come across a function module ALE_INTERNALORDER_DB_CHANGE which directly updates the internal order using insert statements. Can i use this for internal order change or this is any other Function module for updating the internal order.
I dont want to use BDC as a option. Please suggest.

Does anyone know, whether there exists a function module or BAPI for posting plan costs to a WBS Element? K_COSTS_PLAN_PS does not work, because RKP1 is not allowed.

go to se80 ->package->type CKMLMV as package name.
This package has multiple programs and function modules which update the transaction. You can choose from them according to your requirement.

Function modules or BAPI for deleting plan costs on a cost center

Hi all,
I search for a function module or bapi to delete plan costs / activity on a cost center.
At the moment I update the planning with 0, but that cause a mass of needles entries on the cost centers.
For check and posting I use the function group 6026 - BAPI_COSTACTPLN_* ,
but there is no function for deleting.
Has anyone an idea?

How i can find the List of function modules and BAPIs being used for a particular transaction code?
for example: I would like to find List function modules and BAPIs being used for the Transaction code
"FBRA"(Reset cleared items)?

open the t-code --> and go to menu system->status-->select the program and open the program-->
selct the tree structure----in the left side the includes screen and function module everthing will show..
or
open the t-code --> and go to menu system->status-->select the program and open the program-->
go to attributes and select the Package..
next----
go to se80--> enter the package --> and dispalay it shows the list of Program , include transaction function modules and bapi's under the pakage

I need to interface the Deliveries from a flat file into APO. Can someone tell me the function module or BAPI that is used to create the Delivery (ATP Category BR) in APO DRP?

Hi Sandy - I think this is only availbale in 5.0 which I don't have. Try going to SE37, typing BAPI_APS and then F4. Look for DRP or SPP related descriptions for function groups. Also look in BOR in transaction SWO4 - there should be a DRP and/or SPP section under Advanced Planning and Optimization. Let me know if you find something. I don't think you would want to use something outside of DRP/SPP because that may cause transactional inconsistencies.

Function module or Method for changing a program with transport

Hi,
Can anybody please let me know if there is any Function module or Method to change a program under a Transport request
(so it needs to go to next Version for the program). I tried using
INSERT REPORT .... with all options for this command. It is changing the program successfully but all are creating the program locally.
I successfully found CIF_PROGRAM_INSERT for creating new program under a TR.
But struggling a lot to find the same kind of FM or Method to change a program.
Can anybody help?

Function module/BDC/BAPI for Component allocation operation wise

Dear Experts,
I need your help on Component allocation in Routing (CA02) per opertion wise.
Currently we are assigning the Component individually per operation manually
The problem is if a BOM is having 500 Components/Materials and there are 10 operations then we need to assign these 500 components to that particular operation manually which is tedious job & killing a lot of time.
I need your help if any Function module or BAPI or BDC is there to allocate these components per operation wise.
Or any other process which can done easily on this component allocation operation wise

Well, now i have got the same problem than you before.
My requirement is to modify the component allocation in a routing by using change document.
I found the bapi /SAPMP/BAPI_ROUTING_PROCESS. I have spend few days to make it work without success.
Iam still facing error message. Futhermore i have read trough a SAP note that this BAPI could not work properly in some case.
Considering that Iam trying to study other solutions (BDC ?).
Please, i would appreciate if you give me some advice on this problem.

Need Help with Function Module or BAPI for Stock Requirements & PIRs

Hello,
         I am working on making changes to a Report which should be displaying the PIR (Planned Independant Requirements) Quantities as well as Stock Requirements for SOs & STOs for below Type of Materials for the Given Date.
1. Planning Materials
2. Planned SKUs (that is Materials which do not have a Planning Material attached to them).
        In the Current Logic, we are using an FM REQUIREMENTS_ALLOCATION which fetches the Requirements only for the Planning Materials. It does not work for Planned SKUs.
So, is there any Function Module / BAPI which serves this Purpose for both types of Materisls?
   Also, I've managed to Find out two Function Modules which I thought might be useful but still need confirmation regarding the same.
MD_STOCK_REQUIREMENTS_LIST_API and
BAPI_MATERIAL_MRP_LIST
        Please suggest any other FM if available for this Requirement.

Basically, here is what my scenario is. I have two Types of Materials which have a Planning Material attached to it. and the Other Category is that it doesn't have a Planning Material attached to it. So, we call it a Planned SKU. That is a Material planned at the SKU level.
          Now, the Issue is , the Function Module REQUIREMENTS_ALLOCATION doesn't work for the Plannd SKUs but it only works for the Planning Material. Now, based on this Function Module, we are populating the Data for the Planning Materials of Material Type ZPLN. Similarly, is there any we can make this FM work for a Material which is planning at its own Level.
          Please help me in this Regard.

Function Module or BAPI for Sales price calculation and Pricing worklist

Hi Retail experts,
We frequently change purchase conditions, but not that frequently for cases like perishables, so sales price calculations needs to be done each time. This means pricing worklist generation and release is done often and then sales price recalculation is done each time article wise and for various organization level.
We have 15000 articles for which purcahse conditions changes, it is impossible to generate and release pricing worklist and do sales price calculation for each article
So solution may be to find a FM/BAPI for the following transactions and automate them.
Do you know FM/BAPI for VKP5/VKBP or VKP6, WVN0, WVN1 transactions.

I am looking for BAPI or FM which will check all pricing condition types( like MRP of the Material(table A304), discounts(A800,A802,A803,A804) for that customer and Tax) and give me the value(KONP-KBETR).
I can only pass Customer, material, quantity etc.. so that BAPI or FM has do all standred checks/ validation and give the
KONP-KBETR for all condition types like MRP, discounts, Tax. we are developing the custom program for sales order creation so we require the all this before saving the sales order.

I have a requirement in which i need to send an IDoc for each item of the delivery document linked to the shipment document.
previously i have called the function module in a BADI, but now the requirement has changed.No BADI or USEREXIT has to be used.Instead i need to create a custom program and call the function module in a form in the program.My doubt is how can i get the tables needed in the function module from the program? previously i got the tables as online parameters in the BADI.
the function module will be trigerred at the time of saving of the document.
I understand that i need to pass the tables in the program, but is there any way (function module or a BAPI) that can be used to directly get the data of the BADI?
please help me as soon as possible.
