Funny Things going on

My computer HAS been compromised and I also believe I am a victim of Identity Theft. I would like to know, however what this oneindex S-1-5-21-777828251-2651864509-2973719067-1000 means...why it is on my computer as a temp user account and what all
I can do?? Can anyone help or believe me on this??
As far as the being compromised, I went to a website to do some browsing. I knew an employee that worked at that particular place, so I typed their name in before the website and noticed I was being tracked. I had my friend do the same thing
and they weren't tracked. Now here's the thing....if you go under this particular website by their name only, there is NO TRACKING....but if you use this person's name...there IS TRACKING but ONLY when I use MY Computer!!!! Can anyone explain to
me what is going on here???

Well "S-1-5-21-777828251-2651864509-2973719067-1000" would be an unresolvable security identifier (or SID), which generally relate to permissions which have been granted to a user on the system, but the user account has since been removed (or where the machine
was previously on another network/domain, had permissions assigned for users on that network, and has since been removed from there so it's no longer able to resolve the user details from the network).
While it might indicate an issue relating to the compromise it could also simply be a permission setup previously for a user who's since been deleted (the permissions don't automatically get removed).

When an iDevice gets wet the First thing to do is Turn it Off... leaving it on is not good.
If you cannot Turn it off... go to your nearest Apple Store.

Funny thing going on, beeps

I have purchased a new AM2 64 computer. It has come installed with MSI mother board. The model # on it I think is MS-7312 V1/N1996 (I think). It is a AM2 socket.
Well anyway., My OS boots up fine, and everything. But now and then out of the blue... just when windows is idling, or performing some background tasks... the motherboard appears to beep., like "BEEEEEP--BOOOOOP--BEEEEEP--BOOOOOP--BEEEEEP--BOOOOOP--BEEEEEP--BOOOOOP..." on and on endlessly until I reboot. Then it stops, and maybe will not do it again for weeks, or maybe an hour or more later!
What could this be caused by? I don't know what is wrong... it seems to have good cooling fan, and I am running 2gigs of ram. Is something wrong with my mother board or is this mean some impending disaster? :?

Ah, this looks very good.... Butttt, I cannot seem to locate hw.ini, or any dualcorecenter programs on my machine. I am not sure what DCC is.... but is there something else I should be looking for? This wouldn't necessarily be installed on a default stock Windows system would it? I had installed windows from disc to a barebones generic machine, so it probably didn't come with it. But the motherboard still makes these noises periodically nonetheless :/

i have a Form in my jsp with one field ... after clicking submit the request will be sent to a bean and should be valideted
the funny thing is that when i use firefox everything go OK but when i use IE :
- if i click submit with the mouse or press enter then everything is OK
- if i press enter the request will not be sent !!!!!! if i click enter with mouse goes OK...........
can some one tell me what is happening?????
P.s.: if i have a form with 2 or more fields then there is no Problem

Funny thing with my ZE

I just bought a new Zen V. After working a couple of hours to recognize it to my PC, I observed a funny thing when I plugged it to my PC. When I plug it for rechargeing, Zen V keeps turning on and off every 0-5 secs. Anyone have a clue about what's going on or have solution?

Funny things I have seen

You know how sometimes you see something happen and you laugh hysterically ...cause otherwise you would have to CRY ???? Or else something really funny happens that is just circumstance and harmless to everyone.. just plain funny ??? Some movies are like that.. full of skits that are so retarded and crazy it is hilarious ?

Oddly enough I got started thinking about this from an article in the times today about some terrorist instructor who taught his class how to use a suicide vest of explosives.. with a LIVE VEST FULL OF EXPLOSIVES and KILLED HIMSELF AND HIS STUDENTS !!! That made me laugh hysterically... cause otherwise I would have to cry .. no sense getting into the crying part cause that's just too full of sad things ....

I learned to throw a grenade with 150 other new army men and the first one we threw had only the detonator inside it... kinda like a cherry bomb inside the steel casing... with a hole on top so if the dentonator went off in a grenade without real explosive in the grenade " proper " , the little blast would just come out the top... but the steel would remain intact...
This was a training tool.. pull pin, let handle go flying off, count to 3, throw grenade as far as you can in an accurate manner. A REAL grenade packs a lot of punch.. so you don't wanna have it anywhere near you when it goes off...
After HOURS AND HOURS of hearing about how to do this simple task....150 new army men ( avg age 18 ) lined up in a field at the training camp.. and the instructors hid behind some simple barricades right behind us ( no wonder they hide ... because those 150 guys are basically MORONS ! )
On the order to go ahead and throw the grenades.... there was ONE guy who pulled the pin and then held onto the grenade and looked at it in his hand... with about as much brain power as a very small gnat ....and let it go off IN HIS HAND !
His hand got really numb.
149 new army men laughed their butts off .... and the stupid army man got yelled at by the instructors too ! Not a good day for the stupid army man.

I got 2 or 3 ski stories that I find hilarious .. and all of them are where really scary stuff happens to people but they somehow miraculously survive.. ( maybe a couple of protagonists end up going down hill courtesy of ski patrol heros ( medics ).
I had one fall at Hunter Mountain ( on the belt parkway ) that just has to do with ME.. that might be amusing... and I call it the VARNET NIGHTMARE ...

I was wearing these cool glasses ( polarized, yellow tint for snow contrast stuff, etc ) and my first run down in the morning was on the belt parkway, historically known for ice and horrible conditions. If the rest of the hill sucked, the parkway was sure to be the worst. I had extremely sharp edges due to being a NY ski dope... who never saw powder in his life...
The glasses ( which had little leather things on the side to keep out light etc from the sides ... kinda like little bat wings that conformed to my face alongside the corners of my eyes ?? ).. also had an elastic BAND that was red .. and behind my head...
This was some sort of fad at the time.. you could take off your glasses and drop them and they would now be hanging around your neck, dangling over your chest...
Later on this became a new fad where people would put sunglasses in their HAIR .. like perch the glasses on TOP OF YOUR HEAD... but at the time of my story I was into just letting the glasses ( which cost a ton of money ) on my chest if I wasn't wearing them on my FACE.
Keep in mind the elastic band....this becomes a big deal to me....
So I'm going about a gazillion miles an hour down the belt parkway on SOLID ICE most of the time.. I can see it ( am wearing the glasses ON MY FACE ) really good.. the optics are great.. I can see ahead of me just fine, can see the ice, patches of snow, all that stuff ... ).. and I know this run.. been on it many times and have seen many funny things happen on it ( people shooting off the mountain out of control and over the cliff etc .. which is another funny story )... and it cold as heck.. really COLD OUT .. my face is FROZEN...
All of a sudden I get to this one patch of ice that grabs an edge and I'm history.. Things happen really FAST on the ice ....
I'm wearing my fancy sunglasses... So I see EVERYTHING up to a point....
I am leaning forward but end up having my legs ripped out from in front of me and I do a 180 and am totally out of control... both skis have released and trail me on safety ties.. I am now looking UP THE HILL..
MY HEAD BOUNCES ON THE ICY SLOPE and a bit of snow catches one side of my fancy glasses.. ( the leather part .. which is like a horse blinder thing )... and I am now looking UP SLOPE as my glasses, attached by a cool red elastic BAND.. leave my head and STAY ON THE SLOPE .. stretching the band tighter and tighter and tighter... so now the glasses are about 15 yards UP HILL from my head... but still attached to me via the elastic BAND.. like some giant rubber band that has my COLD FREEZING FACE on one end... and my fancy VARNET glasses on the OTHER END ...and I think ( this all happens in nanoseconds ).. OMG !
Sure enough the glasses get released as I continue flying down hill out of control and I see .... in slow motion.. these really cool VARNET SUNGLASSES rocket toward my FROZEN FACE about about 2 gazillion MPH.... and THEY HIT MY FACE ! SMACK ! OWWWWW !

A funny thing happened on the way to becoming a Mac owner...

I won't bore you with more PC user gone Mac (which I am) questions. I would like to thank all of you that have unknowingly provided me with a wealth of information about the Mac world.
A funny thing happened - I began enjoying sitting in front of a computer screen again (after 15 years in the IT industry). I bought this machine with full intentions of installing boot camp to give me the flexibility of running some of my Windows software and games - I can't bring myself to do it. I resolved myself to stick with the software and games that are available for the Mac, and see where that leads me.
Obviously the new romance will wear off and I may yet have to revisit the boot camp solution. However, I would truly like to thank Apple and this community for bringing a smile to my face and reminding me that owning a PC doesn't always have to be about racing to the next best piece of hardware or searching for 3rd-party drivers to make peripherals work correctly.
Thank you all, and I look forward to many years entrenched in the Mac world.

Oh, you sound a bit like me. My shiny new iMac is on it's way. Had never even touched one until a couple of weeks ago (after many months of shopping and looking for ways to have a new machine and NOT Vista). Went to an Apple store and am Mac-smitten.
I recently invested a bunch on some Office 2007 programs, and thought I just HAD to get Parallels and XP installed, but you know what? The more I think about it, the more I think I want to just let my Mac be a Mac!!!
So I'll just continue using the older laptop with the Office stuff for my business and give myself time to explore the Mac world. Even bought it it's own little computer desk. Sooner or later I'll be "all Mac" and make somebody happy at Christmas with the Office software (can't convert 'em all to Mac all at once).

Funny Thing Happened on Way to Forum

Friday, Jan. 20, 2012 - MST (-8 GMT?), the forum sign in page went dead, at about 1:00PM. OK, stuff happens, and the whole Adobe Forum went down the previous Friday - the 13th!!! The screen that I got, for many hours (gave up at ~ 10:00PM MST, but all is good today, Saturday, Jan. 21.
What was funny, was that I was seeing new posts from other parts of the globe, when I would go to a product forum page. Some were from the UK, at least one was from Europe, and two were from the US, but in a different TMZ - Central. It seems that the US Pacific, and Mountain TMZ users were out of luck. Perhaps a particular node going down?
I kept looking on the Forum Comments main page, to see if some maintenance notification would be posted, but then maybe Adobe was locked out too, being in the Pacific Standard TMZ?
Anyone else have this issue?

Your observations seem to be correct. Originally, I had considered geography, but that theory was quickly shot down.
Seems (yes, realize that Rick's observations in the other thread, are speculation, but good ones) that it was a matter of who was already logged-in, when the problem started. For me, the inability to log-in (log-in page unavailable) ran for about 8 hours +/-.
As you note, the forums, themselves, were still active, but only for those, who stayed logged-in. While the activity was way, way down, I kept seeing new posts (those were some of the people, who I contacted), from time to time. I kept reading, though I was not logged-in. Got not auto log-in, but maybe I did not stick around reading long enough for such a thing to happen.
Appreciate the reply, and until Adobe has a different answer, I'll just go with the theory that those, who stayed logged-in, were not hit, and even unaware of a problem, while those who logged-out, could not get back in, for some period of time.

Weird thing going on with Expose and Dock

Weird things have been going on with my Macbook Pro. It's been like this for several months and it's very annoying. What happened was that at some point during using computer, the dock and the expose will go on doing strange stuff together, for the dock, it's the magnification not working properly, when i move my mouse over any application icon, the magnification didn't come up, but if I click on it it will, however, after having clicked on the icon it will not doing the jump motion like it usually does, what it does is that it's going to stay being magnified, even if i point the mouse elsewhere. That's the dock. The problem with the expose is with the all window view, where when i turn it on everything seems to be normal, but if i move my mouse around, anywhere, each window that has been shown in the "all window" view will keep flashing until i dont move my mouse again. And that's the expose problem. Two other problems that occur along with the annoying issue mentioned earlier is that say when you click on the apple icon on the top, usually when you move down along there will be a blue stripe as a background to the words like "About this mac", "System preferences" etc, but when the problem occurs it will not do that. And if you have any window opened that has a scroll for horizontally, it'll keep forcing me to the right hand side of the bar, even if i drag it to the left it'll still go straight to the right hand side automatically. These are the problems that log-out-then-log-in won't resolve, needs to be restarted, i cannot work under this kind of situation, and it's getting really frustrating although i really like my mac still. I'm not sure when it started to do this, one time i thought maybe an application like p2p may disrupt the system so one time i only had calendar, itunes working still it happened again. I have a macbook pro A1226, has been updated to 10.5 and went through all the software update already... still... Does anyone have have the similar or maybe exact same problem as I do here? Please let me know. If you know how to fix it even better, I'd appreciate that. Thanks.

Macbook Pro Headphone Jack, a very strange thing going on with it? help

My Macbook Pro 15" Mid 2011 has had this very annoying small issue for over a year with the headphone jack. Sound only plays through the headphone jack as per normal when i restart the laptop, but once i remove the headphones and plug them back in sound isn't going through the headphone, it's going through the speakers as if headphones aren't plugged in, to have it working as normal i have to restart the laptop again.
Is this a hardware or software issue?
Please help me resolve this..

Since this is a brand new MBP under warranty, the best thing to do is to contact Apple and tell them about your difficulties. If you have access to an Apple Store, you might want to bring your Mac in and show them what it is doing. This does not sound at all normal, and it's very possible that you have hardware issues involved. If so, you should be eligible for a repair under warranty or possibly even a replacement if you are still in the first 2 weeks of ownership.
