Funtional Area different to the one of the cost center

Hi!
I have a problem when i run tcode AB01.
The problem is that in one fixed asset the funtional área generated in the finaltial document does not correspond with the one that is related with the cost center, insted of that it post the one related with the fixed asset wich is not correct...
I run again the t code but now the tcode but now it generates me the correct functional área.
I am afraid that this could happend again..
Do you know what could happend to generate this incorrect funtional área?

I just ran a test with iPhoto Library Manager, Duplicate Annihilator, iPhoto Duplicate Cleaner, Duplifinder and Photodedupo. I imported a folder of 5 photos into a test library 3 times, allowing iPhoto to import duplicates. I then ran the 5 photos thru resizer to reduce their jpeg compression but all other aspects of the file the same.
None of the duplicate removal apps found set that was reduced in the file resizer. That's probably due to the fact that the file creation date was being used as a criteria and the resized photo would have a different file creation date even though the Image Capture date was the same.
They all found the 3 regular duplicates and some of them would mark two and leave the 3rd unmarked. iPhoto Duplicate Cleaner can sort the found duplicates by file size but if the file was edited to get the reduced file size it might not be found as it would have a different file creation/modification date.
iPhoto Library Manage was able to find all duplicates and mark them as such if the file names were the same the the filename option was selected. Otherwise it also missed the modified, resized version. It allowed one to select the one photo to save before going to work on the library.
So if a photo has been reduced in image quality or pixel size it will not be considered a duplicate.

Hi Vani,
Think you are using version 6.0.
I had observed that TCode FAGLB03, displayes balances for particular Ledger (0L) leading by default.
While in FS10N there is no option for selecting ledger.
Try FAGLB03 with all ledgers one by one.
Add the total and then try to matc wiht FS10N.
Assign points of Good.

Under the summary tab in iTunes make sure you have Automatically Back Up This computer. If you have iCloud selected it won't back up when syncing.

0315 infotype error when we are updating the cost center

for one employee when i am going to change the cost center in 0315 infotype it is giving the error like
cost center does not exist in CSKS . but i checke in CSKS table it is availble in CSKS
but i noticed one point in this t-code for last costcenter , controlling area is not availble.
is this the cause for error.

Hi,
If you are checking the cost center by querying on CSKS table, The cost center should be of length 10.
You need to append Zeros to the cost center in the front to make the length as 10 and pass it to CSKS table.
Use the FM CONVERSION_EXIT_ALPHA_INPUT to input zeros in the front.

run why this happen like this. ( in CK40N costing run result -- Cost analysis -- double click on costing result it shows cost estimate quantity structure result values different from cost analysis value )

It depends on your costing variant. For sample, if you take the price in the 1° price estimated on the material view and this data has changed, you can have a difference between the first and the second estimate.
Perhaps also, it's just a definition of layout.
And 3rd hypothesis : you are looking on component in the ck40n and the variant don't take in account your cost component and just the material price.

PR creation for 'F" in ME51N, ME52n, the cost center field exit getactivate

Dear Gurus,
We have a Cost center Field exit activation, meaning when a PR is generated, the system will validate only for his department cost center. Its working fine
The issue, when we create PR through ME51n or me52n for Acct Assign "F" here we are going to enter only Work order number and GL number, not cost center. Still this field exit has activation, here the same error message popup, which suppose not to be.
So in MM configuration, i have disabled Cost center field for acct assignment "F".
Now when i create a PR for F, for single account assignment, the system will alllow, but if i want to distribute the qty to different work order, the system goes for validation for cost center field exit.
How to resolve for multiple assignment, how to deactivate the Cost center field exit for this case, its woking fine of Single account assignment (after disable the cost center field for Account Assignment "F")
Please help me out or any way to do this?

Hi,
Cross check you have Cost Center field is Hidden for Account Assignment Category A (Asset) in t.code:OME9. Now change Cost Center field as Display for Account Assignment Category A and save.
Now create a new PO with Account Assignment Category A and find the difference how Cost Center appearing in your PO in “Account Assignment” TAB.

Using the tcode:S_ALR_87013611, no report data for the cost center

In the tcode FB60,i entered the following data and then posted the vendor inovice sucessfully.
data:
( Note: G/L acct:55020141 is also a primary cost element)
In the tcode:S_ALR_87013611,I entered the following data and executed.
but the result is:{Report contains no data. Check the selection log}.
data: { Controlling Area: C999, Fiscal Year: 2010, From Period:1, To Period:12,Plan Version:0,
        Or value(s):2001}
(Note: Cost center:2001 belongs to Controlling Area: C999)
please tell me how to do,so that using the tcode:S_ALR_87013611, I can see the report data for
the cost center 2001.

Solution:
1) Maintain Controlling Area
   path:spro>Controlling>Organization>Maintian Controlling Area>Maintain Controlling Area.   tcode:OKKP
In the {Activate components/control indicators}cost center should be 'component active'
2) Maintain Number Ranges for Controlling Documents
   path:spro>Controlling>Organization-->Maintain Number Ranges for Controlling Documents.   tcode:KANK
Element { COIN CO Through-postings from FI} should be assigned to one group.

I want to find the cost center manager's PERNR

I have list of cost centers which are not the home cost centers. For this cost centers i need to find the person responsible. For this requirement BAPI_COSTCENTER_GETDETAIL1 function module returns the cost center details where VERAK field is the PERSON Responsible name. But I want the owners PERNR, USRID, AND POSITION.
I dont know how to find the pernr from PERSON responsible name. So Please anyone help on it.

Your answer was helpful.
Org.unit manager might be different. I can pick the org unit attached to the cost center and find the manager of the org unit. How are you saying org unit manager is same for cost center also.
If org unit manager is responsible for cost center attached to it then i got my solution for my requirement. Please confirm this.
If you know the bapi_get_costcenter_details1, then please confirm me that person_in_charge_user parameter is the user id of the pernr. This will also help me in resolving this issue because using user id i can get pernr.

How to changed the Cost Center Date

Hi All,
I have an issue. Cost center is created which have a valid date from 10.01.2009.
Upon checking my set up in the SAP my default date format it is DD.MM.YYYY.
It have mistakenly inputted a different date instead of October 1, 2009 it inputted January 10, 2009.
To resolved: When i went to KS02. I could not edit the valid dates just the master information. And also in KS12.
Is there a way i could change the valid dates of the cost center?

But did you succeed to delete it via KS04 or not? If there are postings in this period, then obviously, it won't be possible to delete it and the validity period could not be shortened retroactively anymore.

How to get the cost center for the retro balance.

I have this report that gives the retro balance. I get the information from RT and BAL. The problem is it doesn't show the Cost Center for the retro amounts. C1 holds the current periods payments not the retro ones.
Does any one know how can i get the Cost Center of the the amounts that wage type /552 is showing in the RT?

I am not sure on the requirement. You are developing a FI report and accessing VA03 which is sales transaction. Anyway for getting cost center you can go to table VBAK,VBAP for line items.
