Future Apple TV (UK) because they missed the trick so bad...

So in my mind apple TV missed the point slightly and could redeem itself this Spring when the UK moves to DVB-T2.
By putting a DVB-T2 tuner into the Apple TV anyone who wants freeview-HD would probably go apple. A smart EPG could be built out and an API for iptv applications could be developed. Imagine some of the apps that people could use with TV given it has a return path to the internet. I would love a IMDB app for when a films playing for instant access to actors and reviews. This could adopt the iphone business model...
Chances are this will never happen and apple TV will fail into a technology graveyard.

What about us in Canada who are held hostage to our cable companies who have an iron grip on the market and the gov't?
Regardless of the nation, I can't imagine that any cable company that makes money by renting (or selling) you a set-top box to decode/descramble their TV signals (HD or otherwise) would allow a 3rd party access to their proprietary hardware and software. Yeah, it would potentially increase Apple's revenue, at the expense of the cable/satellite companies'.
I agree that it is a doable concept and that it'd be great to have an all-in-one set-top box hooked to the 'net and your computer and cable... but there are too many groups and too much money involved in too many countries to make it work.

You should contact Apple by phone as soon as possible. You'll need to change your Apple ID and all passwords.

If you've not done so unpower and restart it after 30 secs or so.
`You will presumably have checked all your credentials and password are correct.
If still playing up I'd probably go to Settings menu and reset everything - you'd need to then enter all ID credentials etc again.
If that still failed I'd factory restore via iTunes with a microUSB cable.

No, there's nothing you can do at this point. Note that AppleCare must be a better deal in the long run for Apple than for you, otherwise they wouldn't sell it. The same is true for all extended warranties. In the long run, you should spend less paying out-of-pocket for warranty repairs (which don't happen often anyway) than buying AppleCare. Especially since AppleCare doesn't cover accidental damage.

Satellite M70-360: CEekey.eke cannot run because its missing the dll

I accidentally removed the ekecioctl.dll and now everytime I start my laptop (Satellite M70-360) I get an error message saying that de CEekey.eke cannot run because its missing the dll. Does anyone know where can I download the dll?

The CEekey.exe seems to be a part of the Toshiba E-key utility.
Therefore you should try to reinstall this Utility to get the keys working again.
Another hint; did you try to restore the OS to the early time point?
The XP supports an system restore tool. You can easily set the OS to a early point and the E-key should work again hopefully ;)

strangely enough, it went away by itself, and until now, it did not come back. I also believe it must be soms sort of graphic card connection failure or something like that, it`s very strange though. I also did let it know to the apple store, and explained it, and they were willing to repair it, but now everything is ok, so it has no meaning to go to the apple store, maybe for a checkup, that would be interesting maybe.
So, I would suggest to keep on using your computer for a couple of days, and shut it down and restart it as often as possible. And when it has not dissapeared after 3 or 4 days, then it`s good I think to go to the apple store.
If you can post here how it goes or how it went, would be nice, and if there is anything more I can help you with, let me know, kindly, Steven

Usually when the phone shows just the white Apple logo, it indicates an issue with the system software that prevents the phone from finishing it's boot sequence. When this happens, you will need to restore the phone, which removes all data and replaces the system software with a fresh set.
Since the phone is not seen in iTunes when it's in this state, you will have to put it into DFU mode for iTunes to see it.
To put the phone in DFU mode:
- make sure the phone is connected to a computer with the current version of iTunes on it.
- hold the sleep/wake button and the home button simultaneously for 8 seconds.
- let go of the sleep/wake button and continue pressing the home button. The iTunes screen will show a short progress bar then show a dialog box stating that an iPod was detected that is in recovery mode.
-click OK
-click the Restore button in the middle of the iTunes page
After the restore the phone should be back up and running and you can sync your data back.

Why are my emails to my friends returned as Spam because they include the word PRAYER.

I have a Ministry that includes 150 people that joined my Ministry and I have been sending these people two emails per month for several years using Verizon email. Now all of a sudden all of my emails are being blocked by Verizon because they have determined these messages sent to people that have requested them, as Spam. Is this because they contain the word PRAYER.

I highly doubt that you are being flagged for spam because of the word "Prayer". Few things could be causing this. One, you could have sent to many emails in a 24 hours period so its blocked you, There is a limit or you get flagged for spam. Two, your inbox is full so nothing can be sent/recieved because there is no room for anything to go (all folder's count as storage, inbox, outbox,sent, etc.) check the cap at bottom left while in your webmail to see if you hit your quota. Three, your address may have been blacklisted for unforeseen reasons. I would definately give 1-800-verizon a call and let their specialist take a look to investigate the reported username that is beeing (blocked). Hope that helps a little bit. Sorry for the troubles that you are having.

Unfortunately, since an unauthorized party opened it, Apple won't have anything to do with it at all. It's not eligible for an out of warranty replacement.

Can't update iPhoto and Kindle apps because they need the previous owners Apple ID

The apps are licensed for only computers owned by the previous owner. You should delete them from your computer. Find each app in Launch Pad, click and hold on it until it wiggles and an "X" appears next to it, then click the "X".
You can then purchase any you need with your account. Kindle is free, iPhoto is only $14.99

My iMac boots up and the mouse curser will move but nothing responds to the click. I was in the Apple store today and they reset the permissions, but still same problem. Help!!!

I just blew out the dust and turned it on again to the same problem.
So I tried holding the shift key which did something but then on reboot I got the same problem but this time worse, see here...
So I tried the alt key but that just gave me two startup disk options, both of which didn't work (they led to the same problem).
Then I tried CMD+s and followed your instructions, see below...
I just held the power button down and turned it on again and the same problem happened again.
Any further thoughts?

Also, if you ever want to find out who the owner of a website, I recommend using the app Deep Whois. In this case, you would enter part of the email address of the person who sent you the email. You would enter whatever follows the "@" symbol. (i.e. for [email protected], enter only "apple.com").
This would show you whether or not the site from which the email is managed was owned by apple (and it would give you some info about the person who spam-texted you...which would allow you to submit this info to the FCC as a spam reporthttp://www.fcc.gov/guides/spam-unwanted-text-messages-and-email).
Also, if the email address is a gmail, yahoo, or (insert major email provider here), then you can simply contact both the FCC and the email provider letting them know that the email address is conducting a phishing operation (include screenshots of what you receive and as many other details as could be relevent). That should at least delay their operation.

In IMovie how do you send the whole presentation, then share it to another apple id. After that, when they open it from their apple product, are they able to edit it?
