  • Sap road map

    Dear all
could anybody tell me Sap road map ?
pls urgent , tell me as soon as possible
    Regards with
    Rams

    Dear Sir,
SAP ROAD MAP is nothing but guide how you follow( to be followed)
You just go through you can understand
I would like to share with all of you the following Road Map which explains in brief and envisages  modus operandi .
    Goals:
    •     To brought-up you to the level of interview phase
    •     To place you with Industry within a short span of time
    Road Map :
The road map explains the ways and the processes that are used as tools to  achieve the goals stated above :
    1.Assessment of Strengths and Weakness
This phase involves  an interview with object of identifying
•The areas in which you have possessed the  expert knowledge in SAP FI/CO modules
•The areas wherein your SAP FI/CO skills are to be improved to the levels that are expected by the Industry
This  process will present to  you with a feed back of where you are now and what shall be the desired  skill set for you with object of getting the job at earliest .
    2.Resume Preparation
At the end of this phase, you will have your resume in your hand . This resume  is nothing but a window of your SAP FI/CO skills that you are going to market. In other words, this constitutes a set of milestones to achieve .
    3.Set the Time frame
This phase requires preparation of time frame to achieve the goals envisaged by this document
    4.On line Training
This phase ensures you to improve your skills that are identified in the first phase.
To render this phase to get success , you have to secure dedicated broad band (internet ) connectivity  with a SAP R/3  installed system.
    5.Collection of  FAQs
In this phase , you will have a list of FAQs that are critical for your success in the interview
    6.Assessment of  mid term progress
This phase provides you with the feed back on your performance before the interviews. It is meant to provide  you  with what progress has been so far made , shortfalls and remedies.
    7.Mock Interviews
In this phase, you will under gone through  a chain of mock interviews with object of getting necessary  confidence to face interviews effectively.
    8.Resume is floated
Your resume is floated using all channels available at that time which includes among other things direct references . You need not think of this process as it will be done by me. You will have the  notice of the companies to which your resume has been forwarded and the time and the venue of the interviews .
    9.Opportunity to Evaluate  yourselves
Every interview is a mile stone for you and   you have to cross a number of mile stones ( interviews )  to ultimately to get an opening for you in the SAP.  Each interview provides an opportunity  to assess yourself, provides the feed back and how to  prepare for the  next interview. I will provide post interview assistance which is very critical for the ultimate success .
10.To sea the light on the other side of the tunnel !
You have to work with dedication , discipline and patience to sea that you are a professional SAP FI/CO consultant. You have to remember always that there is no short-cut except with dedication and hard work for the success in the SAP carrier.
    Hope this clarify you

  • Sql Anywhere product road map

    Hello, all
Our company is about to start a new large project soon.
Several DB providers are being evaluated, among them SAP SQL Anywhere.
Since this is going to be a product line for the next 15-20 years, we need to know if SAP has road map for SQL Anywhere.
The vagueness of SQL anywhere  future is currently the biggest drawback for us, since technically it is an excellent solution.
If anyone can point me to the product road map, it would very helpful.
    Thank you
    Arcady

    Hi Arcady,
As far as I know, SQL Anywhere is alive and well.  In addition to being offered as an product for sale to end users and OEMs, it is part of, or included with, many other SAP solutions.  For example, SQL Anywhere is included as part of Business Objects and the SAP Mobile Platform, and SQL Anywhere data synchronization (MobiLink) is currently in beta as a new offering for the Hana Cloud Platform.
There is a recent product roadmap for SQL Anywhere posted on SAP Service Marketplace, which you should be able to access if you have an account.
Development is continuing on SQL Anywhere and a new release is planned for this year (I don't believe a firm date has been announced yet).
Hopefully this information helps to address your concerns.  If not, please feel free to contact me directly if you have any further questions about the future of SQL Anywhere (firstname dot lastname at sap dot com).

  • How to create interactive map in SAP Visual Business using SAP UI5 SDK

    Hi,
    Please tell me,
How to create interactive map in SAP Visual Business using SAP UI5 SDK.
Is it possible to create interactive map using VB Control in SAP UI5 SDK..?
if possible please any one let me know.

    Hi folks, one question:
We have our development close moved and now it is earlier than originally planned.
That means that we maybe can't finish our convenient API and you have to wait till we will release it - early 2015 is planned.
    But there is another option:
Currently we have a API based on json. The developer has to create json and  to transfer it to the Visual Business control.
This interface is more used as a low level API and we are developing on top the more convenient one. So all the features are the same.
It will stay stable & compatible in the future and you can build on it.
Do you want to use this interface?
Then I will publish the documentation.
    Let me know.
    Thanks

  • Solman Road Map Issue

    Good Day,
I have created the new Roadmap using the RMDEF/RMAUTH  and i want to use that Roadmap in one of my Projects in Solution Manager.I have selected the Same Roadmap in Scope of the Project in (Project Administration),But the Structure or Hierarchy which i Created in Roadmap is not showing in the Project.
Can someone help me with that or if you guys can tell me how to Upload the New Road map in Solman Correctly.
Thanks and waiting for a Positive Response.

    Hi
If you are talking about creation of structure in solar01 then it has to be done in solar01 only via the Structure tab
If  you press F4 and choose the Business Process Repository and you can select all the Business Scenario like Procure to Pay etc which are to be used in you project here
for non sap scenario directly edit or write it ant then save.
    you can check below link

  • What is the road map to start XI

    HI Frnds,
Me previously worked on Datawarehousing.Datastage(ETL tool). Now I shifted to XI 4months back.In my company they given a warm up training on XI and some basic scenarios. Now they directly kept me at one interface(project).Ok Iam doing good there.
But what my question is ,what is the actual road map to start the XI like from SLD or Adapter or from Mapping what is the step-by-step learning and what are the essential things I have to know as a SAP XI consultant. And am I want to learn SAP functional to stay at SAP for long run.
So what are the things I have to learn and what are the essentials to be need to stay in SAP XI space for long run?

    hi,
<i>But what my question is ,what is the actual road map to start the XI like from SLD or Adapter or from Mapping what is the step-by-step learning and what are the essential things I have to know as a SAP XI consultant</i>
You need to know all of these to become an XI consultatnt in a true sense.
If you ask me , the best way would be to begin by understanding XI architecutre, and then moving on to simple FILE to File scenarios, and then a few complicated ones. After getting a grasp of how XI works, maybe you can visit SLD concepts and understand internally what is happening in XI.
Meanwhile,Following are the links to weblogs which will help to develop the basic scenarios.

  • ESOA Road map

our's is a chemical/oil company. it's business process IT landscape runs on SAP 60 Percent and other 40 percent on .net, j2ee and other web applications. we have made siginificant amount of investments in their non-sap IT infrastructure like
their present day-to day HR day to day activities ,ESS and MSS runs on .net applications.
As part of their streamlining current IT investment our company is preparing a roadmap to adapt ESOA.
First we have set a road map to upgrade to ECC 6.0 so that we can enjoy the fruits of ESOA and NetWeaver
next we are thinking to go for Enterprise portal EP 7.0 so that we can integrate our HR process into that
rather having them on .net applications and maintain single application.
As a part of our next part in the road map we are trying to implement PI 7.0/PI 7.1 to remove our
    dependency on many Interfaces.
As a Part of our road map we are trying to go for MDM implementation where in we have duplicate data
in many legacy systems and sap, so that we can have central master data repository.
I am unable to understand from the above road map where we discuss ESOA road map, but all the solutions are netWeaver
Technologies and why does  ESOA come into picture(ESOA stategy Road map ) . next thing in times of this global recession how our company can synergise with new technolgies and cope
up with ripping  plugging and removing the current investment and infuse new investment with other user licenses which is big burden.
We are going to acquire some over seas acquistions How ESOA can help us in integrating the acquired company IT landscape into our existing IT landscape?.
How SAP ESOA can address the problems of Economic Recession and downtrun in companies
through efficient IT management and setting effective roadmap for IT infrastructure and through ESOA strategy roadmap ?
Don't give any links please i have read a lot.
