Future software wish - total album time

This is just a wish list. In a future version of the iPod software it would be nice if there would be some way to discern an album's total running time. Yes, it's in iTunes when creating playlists, but when on the road with the iPod, it would be nice not just to see the running time of a track, but what is the total running time left in the album being played?

The best way to make such suggestions to Apple is to use the Feedback page
http://www.apple.com/feedback/
Sounds like a good idea.

    Anyway to display the total playing time for the album currently playing? I have the time per song but not the total time for any of my albums within my Music Library.

    You can use the Browser or the search bar to limit your library to that album, then check the playing time that way. (Click the time at the bottom of the iTunes window to get more precision.)

    Hi
    Just to clarify a couple of points in your post.
    RAM (memory) is different from hard drive space. You have 4GB of RAM, but that has no bearing on the amount of drive space you have, of which we know that 79GB are photos.
    If those photos are in iPhoto, you should be able to move the entire iPhoto Library, from the Pictures folder, to your external hard drive. You can just drag and drop. Do not have iPhoto open while you're doing this. Once it's done, you can double-click on the moved iPhoto Library file to associate it with iPhoto, so that the app remembers where the library is for next time.
    One more thing. When you move a file to a different location, and then delete the original, you don't have a backup. You still only have one copy. So if that external drive dies, you will lose all your photos. Time Machine is a very good way to prevent this from happening. You should dedicate a different drive for Time Machine backups.

    I'd wait. What can't you do that you need? You mean you want to buy a new model, then why not wait for an actual new one, not the two year old 5,1, when you need to and have outgrown.
    Yours will run Mountain Lion. yours is 4 yrs old and still supported and has life left.

    Many apple phone users are especially fed up with RSGI Communication , Erandwana, Pune, Maharashtra, India.
    Their service report No. 36679.
    Allthough Mr Punit ( Technical Dept. Apple.) had requested RSGI to chance the device, still RSGI said they do not have the device ( I phone 5, white ,16GB) in stock.
    Today when we contacted them they said they won't be able to replace OR order to Apple unless and until we do not keep the device with them for 3 days.
    Mr Deepak of Technical Dept Apple was contacted who's telephonic Transript as proof is available with us.

  • Finished Goods valued at Future Standard price at the time of Delivery .

    Hi,
    My client requires the Finished Goods to be valued at Future Standard price at the time of delivery from Production order. This is required because in case there are frequent changes in the material prices, i can mark my material several times.. and change the future standard price.
    I have checked and found that it is always valued at Current standard price only.. and not at the future standard price.
    1) i have tested by changing the costing variant in OPL1 ( Planned costing variant for Production orders).. such that the valuation variant picks up the Future price... it seems it will work only for the Raw materials and SFG's consumed in the Production order and not for the Finished goods.
    2. Define valuation variant for Goods received option in the IMG - It seems it is relevant only when your FG is valued at Moving average price only.. so not relevant for my case.
    My question :
    Can i value my Finished goods at future standard price ( i.e Marked standard cost estimate ) at the time of receiving goods from Production order ? If yes how ?
    Thanks in advance for your answers.

    Hi Siva
    It is very much possible, but you need to use exit... I think exit COPCP002 should be the relevant....
    Usually, this is used to valuate the GR in case of Valuated sales order stock... I guess this should work in MTS also...
    The reason why I feel it should be possble, is that if you read SAP text for the IMG Step Define Goods Received Valuation for Order Delivery, it says at the end
    For materials with price control S, on the other hand, the credit posting is always made at standard price.
    If you deliver to stock at a price that is not the standard price, the system will report an output price variance in variance calculation
    Hence, it should be very much possible to achieve what you want.. Only thing is it will hit a PPV and that you need to find relevant exit if the one abov does not work

    Unplug any peripherals you have except your keyboard, reboot, and check activity monitor for apps.  Keep running apps to a minimum to find the App causing the issue.

    Hi.
    I have a quick question here,
    For the awr report, the ‘Top 5 Timed Events’ section, does anybody knows how the ‘%Total Call Time ‘ is calculated for each event listed there?

    Hi,
    Db version is 10.2.0.4.0
    What is meaning of waits and % Total Call Time in Top 5 Timed Events in AWR report? Waits is the number of times a session waited on a particular call
    % Total Call Time is the total time spent in this event divided by the db time, converted to a percentage.
    It gives you some idea of how signifcant this event was in the total time spent waiting by the user. Unfortunately the SQLNet times are excluded in the calculations, so there is a component of time that (from the end-users' perspective) is lost.
    How to read AWR report?Where i have to start from it?
    The best place to start is probably still the white paper about statspack produced by Oracle 11 years ago: http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/database/focus-areas/performance/statspack-opm4-134117.pdf
    How the values are calculated in awr? For example db time is 556.15 and elapsed time is 1,439.73 .
    elapsed time is the clock time between the start and end time of the snapshots, reportedin in minutes - in your case your report covers 24 hours which is generally far too long to be useful.
    db time is the time your sessions were active "inside" the database - again in minutes - and it's a measure of how much time you spent working. It is the sum of wait time and CPU time.

  • Statspack Total Wait time

    hi -
    using v 9.2
    I'm wondering about the Total Wait Time (s) in the Top 5 wait Events list.
    I took a snapshot for 10.55(min) but some of the Time (s) exceeds this, so i'm clearly interpreting something incorrectly:
    Top 5 Timed Events
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~                                                     % Total
    Event                                               Waits    Time (s) Ela Time
    db file scattered read                            587,895       1,464    37.24
    CPU time                                                        1,205    30.66
    SQL*Net message from dblink                        22,597         609    15.49
    db file sequential read                           478,006         554    14.11
    log file parallel write                             6,335          28      .72
              -------------------------------------------------------------For example the db file scattered read is 1,464(s) which is more than the 10.55(min) of the snapshot.
    how correlate this Time(s) to clock time?
    My assumption is that multiple sessions are added and this number can exceed snapshot time?
    the time is per processor so if you have 8 processors and the clock time of the report is 6 minutes but 5 cpus use 3 minutes of processing each then the total time is 15 minutes.rocr,
    You're thinking of the "CPU time" component only.
    The wait time can be much greater than "snapshot interval * CPU_count". It can be as large as "snapshot interval * number of sessions".
    For example:
    I lock a table in exclusive mode for 15 minutes.
    100 other users try to update that table, and have to wait for me to release my lock.
    Elapsed time = 15 minutes
    Wait time = 100 * 15 minutes = 1,500 minutes.
  • BPM Total Processing Time
    Hi,
    I am trying to calculate total processing time of the BPM. I am capturing start and the end time in BPM.Now the issue is that how di I get the difference between these two times Plesae let me know if you have any ideas on this. Also let me know is there any other standard way to acheive the same.
    Thanks
    Anand
    Hi,
    the standard way would be to use PMI (performance monitoring)
    but as far as I remember you cannot select a BPM name to monitor... only loose messsages
    BTW
    it even gives you the opportunity to save to data in a file... for audit for instance
    so the only way would be to try to create a report
    this data has to be stored somewhere...
    no other idea - sorry
    If you are trying to upgrade using a gray-faced OS X disk from another system, that won't work, as those disks are locked to the system types they are delivered with. You'll need to drop the $29 on a retail copy of Snow Leopard, which is available from the Apple online store. Note Snow Leopard requires 1GB minimum, and you may want at least 2GB for better performance.
  • Planning time fence vs total lead time
    Hi Gurus,
    we have a scenario like the below in the unconstrained plan. Trying to understand various dates on the PWB. could you please explain.
    1. Item is a Make item and it's planning time fence attribute is set as Total Lead time.
    2. Processing lead time of the item is 25 and fixed lead time is 2
    3. ASCP is suggesting a planned order on PTF date which is exactly 25 days from now.
    4. But the suggested start date of the order is only 2 days less than the suggested due date. This is the point we are not able to understand. We have set the processing lead time as 25 so, isn't the planned order not supposed to have the start date as today?
    Thanks
    Mahesh
    Dear,
    Please refer this link,
    [Planning time Fence|Planning time fence]
    For sales order will convert to a specific production order use CO08 here define order type as ZP04.
    OPKP ( Production Scheduling Profile) whether ZP04 is assigned under Order Type or not.If not maintain the same and then assign the same Production Scheduling Profile in Material Master in Work Scheduling view.
    Also in In OPPQ or OPPR you have to define order type as ZP04 under conversation indicator use when in MRP run MD50.
    Please try and come back
