Fuzzy Audio Remover effect??

Hi Guys,
I have some video that has pretty fuzzy audio, I was wondering if any out of all the fce audio effects (that I've never used!) will help me.
I know it  wont remove it completely as the raw audio is the issue but maybe it may decrease it a little.
Ideas?
Cheers
Ryan

It would help if you can describe more exactly what you mean by "fuzzy audio".
Depending on the severity of the 'fuzziness' the EQ filter may help.  But overall 'fuzziness' is another matter.  If the audio has 'noise' that you want to remove, the filters cannot do that.
For noise reduction/elimination you need a plugin such as Wave Arts MR Noise that can 'learn' the noise and eliminate it from the audio track.  There are no filters in FCE that can do this.  You can download a 30-day trial to see if it fixes the problem you are having.

  • How to remove effect presets from a clip?

    I'm learning how to use Premiere Elements 8 from Adobe's official Help document.
    I'm currently working through Chapter 10, "Applying effects", section "Working with effect presets" -> "Apply an effect preset".
    The Help document doesn't tell how to remove an effect preset you had applied.
    I've tried to follow the instructions for removing regular effects, but they don't seem to work in the case of presets.
    How can i remove effect presets from a clip?

    I suspect it's actually a standard PE terminology that i'd better get acquainted with.
    I wanted to address this part separately. Actually, "workflow" is more of a video, or at least NLE term, and is not specific to PrE.
    As for terminology, this ARTICLE might prove useful.
    As I attempt to point out, some of these terms might be applied slightly differently, depending on the exact program used. As a for instance, PrE 8 has moved all of the Export options to Share. I still write "Export/Share" in case a PrE 2 through 7 user reads it. Terms can change. Also, Avid might call one common operation by one name, and Final Cut Pro use a different one.
    For me, I had to learn some new terms. I can from a film background. Terms were changed with video. For instance, my old Fade-to-Black is now Dip-to-Black in most NLE's. First time that I typed Fade-to-Black, everyone came back with "huh???"
    I read a lot of books on general editing of both video and audio. Some authors use different programs, and though the core theories are the same, their terminology can be rooted in their program of choice.
    Also, with regards to audio, many still use a lot of the terminology from the analog days, and keep them, because analog is still part of the workflow in most productions - think of the mics, for instance. There is generally less analog left in video, unless someone needs to telecine film to digital, or transfer VHS tapes to digital. More of the total workflow is all in digital, so my old film school terms have faded.
    One of the things that I attempt to do is differentiate exaclty what I am talking about. If I type video, I mean video in general. If I type Video, I am talking about the video Assets in a Project. Notice that Assets is also capatilized, as that is a term from the NLE and is specific to all things, SFX, Video, Audio, etc. used. Sometimes I slip up. I use project to mean the whole thing, and Project to mean the setup in the NLE, that will result in either a .PREL, or .PRPROJ file from my Adobe editors. Does this make sense?
    Good luck,

  • Can't remove effects from video track

    Video: http://screencast.com/t/x5L00pQn
    I right-click the track and select "Remove Effects", tick all checkboxes but nada.Of course, the track is not locked or anything.
    Any help would be very much appreciated.

    What effects are you referring to? I see time remapping keyframes, but those are exempt from the Remove Effects command (since removing them would alter the duration of your clip).
    Remove Effects removes or resets the following:
    Motion (intrinsic)
    Opacity (intrinsic)
    Video Filters (applied)
    Audio Filters (applied)
    Audio Volume (intrinsic)
    Transitions are not effects, at least in the technical definition, so they are not removed either.

  • Unapplying Audio FX effect

    Is it possible to undo an Audio FX effect on single audio clips? I know I can click the undo button, but suppose I want to come back later and undo the effect after I've clicked saved numerous times? "Revert to original" doesn't appear to apply to audio clips.
    By the way, I've found that Audio FX effects render faster if you first extract the audio from it adjoining video clip.
    Thanks any and all feedback and/or work arounds for this. Audio FX seems pretty useful, especially the noise reduction and the reverb--if done correctly--to boost the sound. Of course, this is my first time working with these type of audio effects in digital editing.

    Check out the iMovie 6 Help topic Removing transitions, titles, and effects
    To remove a transition, title, or effect:
    Do one of the following:
    To remove a title or effect, select the clip or clips that contain the title or effect you want to remove in the clip viewer or timeline viewer.
    To remove a transition, select the transition's icon (shown above) in the clip viewer or timeline viewer.
    Tip: If you want to select all your transitions at once, select a transition and choose Edit > Select Similar Clips.

  • Trouble with parallel add and remove effect in TileList

    We have a TileList of images.  As the user drags a new image along the list (deciding where to drop it) a blank frame drops in to show them where it will be inserted when they drop it.  Therefore, I have to add and remove simultaneously, while still dragging.  For example if they are at index zero, a blank frame is in index zero.  As they move to 1, the blank frame appears to move from index zero, to index one, as the image that was at index one appears to move to index zero.  But what I'm really doing is just removing and then adding the blank frame.
    I think the following code should accomplish this.  And it works, most of the time.  Every so often, there is a delay where is does the REMOVE, and then waits until the Back.easeOut tween is complete, and then does the ADD.   It is intermittent.  Any ideas, or is there a better way to do it?  Thanks
    MXML code:
        <mx:Sequence id="myEffect">
            <mx:Parallel>
                <mx:Move
                    duration="600"
                    easingFunction="{Back.easeOut}"
                    />
                <mx:RemoveItemAction id="dcmRemoveItemActionTag"
                                     />
                <mx:AddItemAction  id="dcmAddItemActionTag"
                                   />
            </mx:Parallel>
        </mx:Sequence>
    actionscript code:
                    _sharedMedia.removeItemAt(_sharedMedia.getItemIndex(_dropPlaceHolderimage));
                    _sharedMedia.addItemAt(_dropPlaceHolderimage,dropIndex);

    hi,
    You could do this a couple of ways, you could have a slight delay set on the remove effect so that it doesn't interfere with the ease function.
    or
    You could add the item instead of an empty frame, on the dragdrop event you don't need to do anything if you get a dragexit triggered then you simply remove the item completely.

  • No sound remover effect in CS6?

    I have Audition CS6 and saw a tutorial of the sound remover effect....is not an option in my drop down menu...why not?

    I can indeed confirm that the Sound Remover tool was added to CC, and wasn't available in CS6 because it hadn't been fully developed at that time - it was a new tool that hadn't existed in Audition previously.

  • Placing an Audio Spectrum Effect on top of a video.

    I'm wondering if it's possible to use the audio spectrum effect on top of a video layer. That is, the video is playing while there is an audio visualizer *on top* of it. My goal is to produce a video podcast, but add some style to it by having each podcast member have their voice synced to an audio visualizer while there are video clips playing in the background.
    Is this possible with After Effects, or any of Adobe's products at all? Every time I place an audio spectrum effect on, I can hear the audio of my video clips, but the visualizer refuses to show on top of anything other than the black background that appears the moment I activate the effect.
    Can anyone help? Thanks.

    Place the audio in the comp and then add a solid layer. (comp size)
    Next, go to Effects, Generate, "Audio Spectrum" or "Audio Waveform" depending on what you'd like.
    You can apply the waveform directly to the video layer, but placing it on a separate layer allows separate adjustment of both layers independently.
    There are quite a few parameters that can be adjusted, however the defaults should be fine for most things.
    Here's a nice tutorial on the effect:

  • Why is Premiere Pro telling me it will take over 24 hours to export a 55-second clip with no audio or effects?

    Why is Premiere Pro telling me it will take over 24 hours to export a 55-second clip with no audio or effects? It's never done this before, but this is driving me nuts. I'm almost finished with this project, I can't have this kind of stuff happening now.

    Forgive me. I'm just stressing hardcore at the moment.
    Specs:
    OS X 10.9.4
    2.8 GHz intel
    Premiere 5.5
    exporting cell phone video which has been treated with effects and layered with other clips from cell phone video, then nested as one single video clip, now trying to export as H.264 (DV 24fps)
    Full disclosure: I am an amateur so if you need more info just tell me and I'll produce it if I can. I should note though, I've done this before with no problem. However the settings may have been different (still getting the hang of the whole 'settings' thing, to be honest). It's very possible that the problem in this case is the operator, in other words.

  • Audio special effects in Pr12

    I'm back!  I want to add the "reverb" audio special effect to an audio clip I have.  [using Premiere Elements 12 on a WinPro7 computer].  This is what I've done:
    click on the audio clip
    open special effects and open audio special effects
    click on 'reverb' (the outline is now blue) and drag the reverb box onto the audio clip.
    The effect is on/in the clip (can check it with 'adjust special effects'), BUT when the clip is played, there is a ratcheting noise.  I have tried the "delay" effect as a diagnostic tool, and it added just fine.  It's just not the effect I want.
    Ideas any one?
    Thank you.

    Hello,
    I'm sorry to have waited so long to reply.  I guess the holidays got in the way....and, football.  And, now I have 3 topics.
    ONE
    I tried MANY things about the REVERB effect with no success....either (1) I could not hear that the reverb was working (and, I've used it before in Pr4 and could tell a difference) or (2) that ratcheting noise was still there.
    The main thing I did was create new (test) Pr12 files with only the audio that was the problem or with other audios [i.e. songs 'ripped' from purchased CDs, purchased songs from iTunes (either MP3 or WAV formats), sound effects I have from many various sources, including the ones that come with Pr12].  No  help.  Soooo, if I MUST have reverb on an audio clip, I think I'll just use my XP machine and its Pr4 and then export that audio clip to use in the Pr12 file...if that works, and I think it would.  Thank you for that help.
    TWO
    To continue a thread we had about file size and DVD disc capacity.....I have included 2 screen shots....the first one is to show the file size I just burned on a 4.7 GB DVD.
    You can see that the file is 5.587 GB.
    Now, here is what the screen showed me in Pr12 when I was preparing to burn the disc.....notice that the "fit contents" box is UNchecked, and I slid the button to the right for HIGHEST quality.  Notice it says "space required" is 1.64 GB.  This is what I was trying to get across when several of us were discussing "file size" vs disc capacity.  Does this mean I can put more on a given disc?  That would be cool if I could.
    THREE
    And, last but not least, is there a way to reduce the volume of the MENU volume if it comes with its own audio?  I am using "Outdoor Adventure", and its volume is INTENSE versus what I have mixed in the file.  I have looked in my Pr manual, but it doesn't say much.  I guess I should first look in the forum for the answer to this, but I'm spoiled with your terrific help.
    Have a good day, and thank you.

  • How do I remove audio special effects, to go back to the original audio?

    I added some audioFX (from imovie library) to my clip. The chipmunk voice fx. But, I want to remove portions of it. The Help menu tells me to select the portions I want and press delete. When i do that, I lose all my audio. How do I just select the FX and delete that.
    I tried doing a search but couldn't find this specific answer.
    Thanks

    Was the Help reference you found specifically for audio FX, or was it for editing video clips? It sounds like it might have been for video clips. Although iMovie lets us select frames of a video clip in the monitor and remove them, there's no such command for editing audio. We can't use the monitor to remove the MIDDLE of an audio clip, for example.
    That doesn't mean you can't accomplish your goal, however. iMovie lets us do direct trimming of an audio clip, just like it does a video clip. It lets us shorten the audio from either end.
    We can't use direct trimming on the MIDDLE of an audio clip, of course, unless we first split the audio clip. Then we can use direct trimming to control playback of BOTH resultant clips. That lets us control the middle too.
    So as Matthew suggested, we can control the volume of portions of an audio clip, or split the audio clip and use direct trimming to control which sections to play.
    Note: if you're fiddling with the audio volume, be sure to UNcheck the menu command View > Show Clip Volume Levels. Until you do, you can't do direct trimming of the audio clip.

  • Is it possible to remove effects recorded in Apple loops?

    Hi there,
    I'm using a piano loop Classic Rock Piano09 which is blue and I want to take off the delay they've put on it.
    I'm guessing because it's a 'blue' loop then I can't, but am hoping that I can somehow convert it to midi notes or maybe even a notated score that I can then put in any of the software instruments like a piano with no effects.
    Annoying that you don't have the option to take effects but I suppose that adds a lot more complexity.
    Thanks for your help.

    if there isn't a delay plugin being used then no, you cant remove the delay because it is recorded along with the sound as part of the audio file..
    That would akin to unboiling an egg....... which normally is impossible unless...

  • Adobe Flash Pro CC 2014 fuzzy Audio

    when ever i import audio into Flash and play it by flame it sounds completely normal.
    however when i select Ctrl+Enter and watch the animation in SWf
    the audio sounds fuzzy and blurry.
    but its not out of sync
    for example.
    i downloaded these two bits of audio using: Free YouTube to MP3 converter
    Scary Sound Effects - YouTube
    and  Pokemon 'Bridged Episode 19: Family - Elite3 - YouTube
    i put them in Audacity, cut them so i could keep the bits audio i wanted and saved the audio as MP3 files
    importing them int Flash and playing them with my animation? they sounds exactly the same.
    until i play them as SWF files
    now they sound like this: (sorry that its all FNAF's animations )

    Hey Mitch, Thanx for your reply.
    I don't it's false. The reason for that is whenever I get that "audio dropout" event, adobe reacts really slow and I can't edit fluently.
    I've been busy the whole day trying to figure out what the problem is. I contacted adobe support and the remotely accessed my computer and see for themselves.
    We opened the activity monitor to see what's happening. Monitoring system memory revealed something interesting. The free memory dropped low after working for 20 minutes. when the "swap used" reached 5gb I got an "audio dropped" event. So we purged the memory with the terminal application.
    I restarted my computer and reopened Adobe premiere pro CC and started editing. After a few minutes it gave me an audio drop event again. Whenever I get them, premiere reacts slowly.

  • Dv9000 fuzzy audio

    Audio from pc or external speakers is fuzzy. Tried to update drivers but didn't help. Not sure what triggered the change. Resolution?

    Someone else in these forums posted the following solution, which worked for me to get my dv9009us speakers working again after they suddenly stopped working. It may work for you as well. The person referred to it as a "hard reset", which is apparently different from a hard reboot:
    Perform the following actions to prepare the computer for troubleshooting a startup problem.
    Remove the battery and AC adapter from the notebook.
    Remove any optical disks (CD or DVD), and disconnect any external devices or peripherals such as USB devices, printers, docking stations etc.
    Press the Power button for about 2 - 5 second.
    Plug the AC adapter directly into a functioning wall socket.
    Press the Power button to turn on the computer.
