Fuzzy because of microphone please help!
im recording a real instrument track, my guitar. it's fuzzy though because the built in microphone is recording everything around me. i tried to mute the built in microphone to only get my guitar recorded but when i do that the guitar is muted as well.
Can you explain how you are recording the Guitar? If the internal mic is on, then that's the only thing you are recording with.

I have a problem with my microphone. After i bougth Creative's sound card "Sound blaster X-Fi Xtreme Audio" and installed it, everything was allright and my microphone was working great, but this was when I used Windows XP, when i started to use Windows 7, it suddenly was very weak and i almost didn't heard it.
Currently, I have bouth Windows XP and Windows 7 installed, so I know the microphone is working when I am switching up between the OS, because it still works good on Windows XP.
If you can help please tell me.
I am using Windows 7 64 bit, I made sure the flexijack settings in the Audio controll panel are set to microphone and not line in, in the Windows 7 audio controll I have set the microphone volum to maximum and made sure it is configured properly.

Fuzzy on Cinema Display- PLEASE HELP :-)

I recently made a presentation in FCP, the project set for playback at DVNTSC. The project was burned using iDVD and intended to be watched on TV. Now, I want to watch the DVD presentation on my 30 inch Apple Cinema display. When I play it back, it is very fuzzy. Since the project was set originally at 720x480, I cannot expect it to look good on the monitor, right? What changes would I have to make to my FCP project in order to to make a new DVD look good on the Cinema display? And what about the rectangular vs square pixels issue? I can't remember if monitors have the rectangular pixels... Thanks.
p.s. there is no video in this project--everything created from stills/ effects from Motion.You've got the concepts correct. Your image is being expanded to fill the display by a factor of at least twice, to more than 1500 pixels, maybe 2000. That doesn't mean you get more pixels out f the video, it just means the video pixels are getting bigger to fill more monitor pixels.
If you step back from the 30" four times as far as you are from your 17" TV set, the image will look pretty good.
The rectangular/square pixel thing? I pretend that problem doesn't exist.

If you previously synced the phone to your computer you do not need to enter the lock code to back it up to iTunes. If you did not ever sync your phone to your computer there is no way to recover the information on it, unless you backed it up to iCloud.

Microphone not working in hp2000 windows 8 notebook. Neither internal or stereo please help
I really need help with my microphone. So neither my internal or stereo microphones are working. I test them by taking a video with my webcam and listening but you can barely hear my voice. The most you can hear is when i hit the touch pad to stop the video. It picks up my voice better when i put my face right up to the microphone but i can't do that while im on webcam because the microphone is right next to the camera. Can anyone please help me fix it so that I dont have to be right next to the microphone for it to work?!

Try this:
Open your picture file
Access the clone stamp tool
Hold down the ALT key on the keyboard and left click on the area from which you wish to clone, then release the ALT key, and click to place the pixels at the destination
TIPS:
It is a good idea to open a blank layer at the top in the layers palette, and do the cloning on this layer. Be sure that "sample all layers" at the top is checked. You can change the layer opacity if necessary
Use the bracket keys next to the letter p on the keyboard to increase & decrease the size of the cursor

I want to update to LION,on my Macbook Pro CORE 2 DUO, (october 2006) because Adobe CC needs at least that. I know my computer is old, but works perfect to me and I do not want to stay in Adobe CS6 since I have access to Adobe Cloud CC. Please help.
I probably dont want to go to Mountain Lion either because I've heard that it will slow down my computer, So, Lion 10.7 will be the perfect OS X for me.

Thank you ALL for your help.you will be ok updating to the new software but there will be some trade off. i have 3 macbooks 2006 that are all running the latest versions.
some of the trade off are
1-2 less of battery life
slow wake ups from sleep
slower start up time about 30-40 seconds longer then what you have now
the operating system will use high % of your processer while idealing
these are not the things you want to hear about a new os compared to the old one but this is how it is even with a new macbook pro. but it's not the end of the world. just make sure you have at least more then 2GB of ram and have a good harddrive and you will be ok. -
Hello everyone,my names Charlotte and I was wondering if someone could help me with my iPod not syncing to my iTunes properly.
Okay well basically,a while ago my laptop caught a virus and in the end I ended up having to reboot the whole thing.
(My OS is Windows 7 Ultimate)
However,because of this,it meant I had to download iTunes again, and so I did.
(I have the latest iTunes and iPod Touch version downloaded)
Then I found a way how to sync all my music from my iPod touch (not the 4th gen) to my laptop, so I did and put all my music and more (from albums I haven't downloaded yet e.t.c) onto my newly downloaded iTunes.
But anyway,back to the original topic. Because of downloading iTunes again and rebooting my laptop, my iPod Touch wont sync to my new iTunes and I don't know what I can do to fix this?
Another thing I did notice was on the 'Devices' option on the sidebar, it now says 'iPod Touch', instead of 'Charlotte's iPod'.
I'm really stuck on what to do because when my iPod does sync to my iTunes it says 'Syncing iPod Touch (Step 1 of 1)', when usually it should be of 4 steps, like backing up data and transferring purchases e.t.c.
Then it just finishes sync..
One thing I did do was de-authorize it and re-authorize it again as I found online that it worked for some people,.... for me it didn't. To be honest I didn't expect it to work as I thought it was just for anyone trying to hack/take away your music...but it was worth a shot anyway.
But please help!

My phone says there's 0 bytes available but only 6 GB are used the phone is supposed to be 8 GB I have no pictures at all and only 5 apps this is really bothering me please help I can't even take pictures because it says I've no storage I also have no messages at all
My iPhone is a 16GB and it says 9.0GB Available and 3.7GB used; I suspect the missing 2.3GB is occupied by the system software.

I am downloading the memory card from my camcorder into my MacBook Pro with Retina display. It usually popped to the file called AVCHD then CLIP to show all the videos. But not this time, it automatically changed to BDMV. I do not have idea how this happened while I left my notebook on and I was away for a couple of hours then back to the living room to work on each video as to type name of file etc.
Now, I cannot even open them into CLIP because I am still getting BDMV with a popped sign that said BDMV can't be opened because it is from an unidentified developer. (I do not even understand what this is supposed to mean??) also with the bottom message that stated "Quicktime Player created this file yesterday at 1:52pm" I am like uhhh how can QT player do this without my authorization??
Please help me how to solve these and get all of my videos back that I saved in my camcorder. Let you know that I tried to insert the memory card back into my camcorder and all these videos are gone. Now I am having a HUGE headache because of this!!

Did you ever figure out how to get them back? The same thing happened to me yesterday. I was able to open the file in VLC media player (you can download this app), but the file had been corrupted. After weeks of frustration and swearing, I was in the process of restoring my phone to a previous iOS. To do that you need to turn the "Find my iPhone" option off, since i turned it off, my problem was solved. No need to repair anything or revert back to old iOS.

That is precisely what my mid-2010 MacBoook Pro 13 was doing before the drive finally died after an Apple Genius rebooted it a dozen or so times. I have since read about the exact same thing happening to others, including a writer for The Atlantic magazine who had never had an issue with a Mac before. Do a back-up ASAP to make sure you don't lose anything and see about replacing the HDD. It is only about $140 for a new drive. The real issue is if you lose your data, too. So, make sure you do that back-up!
