Fuzzy previews / thumbnails and blank videos from iPhone and iPad imports

When I sync and download images from both my iPad and iPhone the thumbnails / previews are showing up fuzzy and I also am unable to play the downloaded videos.
Any thoughts? Thanks!

What is the pixel size of your iPhone images and iPad images? Do you have an iPad 3 with a large pixel size 2592 × 1936 (5.0 MP) or an earlier version with lower pixel size? Then the images might display fuzzy on a large screen.
How do you transfer the images from your IOS devices? Photo Stream? Connect using USB?
also am unable to play the downloaded videos
Is that a recent problem? Did they play previously?

You can also use Dropbox. The Dropbox app has a very cool auto-upload process that will automatically upload photos and videos from the iPad Camera Roll to Dropbox.
First sign up for a free Dropbox account from your computer.
Then, download the free Dropbox app on your iPad.
Log in to the Dropbox app on the iPad with your new account and click on the Photos icon in the lower left corner of the screen (second one from the left).
Select "Enable Camera Upload" and "Only Wi-Fi." The upload process will begin for all existing photos in the Camera Roll.
Do this on both your iPhone and iPad and you should be able to access all photos and videos from either device (or computer).

I took a video using my iphone4 "Camera" application. When I open the "Photos" application on my phone I choose "Camera Roll" and my video is there and I can play it. How do I get this video over to my iPad2? I have tried plugging each device into my laptop which opens iTunes automatically then "syncing" but that didn't work. When I open the "photos" application in iPad2 the video is no longer a video; it is a bunch of pictures! What happened? How do I get videos taken with my iphone4 over to my iPad2? Videos don't work with photo stream, likely due to size.
What I do, hook your iPhone up to the computer you sync it to. then double click on my computer, and navigate your way to your iPhone and the DCIM folder. Your video will be in there somewhere. Drag it off your iPhone and onto your computer.
Then place that video into the folder where the rest of your videos are (I have vista and there's a 'video 'folder that my iTunes pulls videos from, yours may be set up differently)
You can then use iTunes to sync that video onto your iPad.
Another way is to set up and use some sort of online account, such as Dropbox, upload your video there then download it back to your iPad (depending on how big your video is, any sort of transfer will take some time, I have a 3 minute video that's almost 200 megs, so it takes a bit to move it around or upload it)

I am trying to connect my Ipod classic to my Panasonic TC-P42X1 to view pictures and video. I have used the Apple component AV , connecting the red, blue and green video connectors to component 1 video input ports on the TV and the white and red audio into the component 1 audio connectors. I then plugged the Ipod doc connector into the ipod and the USB in into the power adapter. I then set the TV signal on the Ipod,and turned on the TV and set it on comp 1. All I see is a blank screen. If they were synced from iTunes you can use that. If they were taken with the iPhone you'll need to download thme to a computer, and then sync them up to the iPad.
Alternatively you can use Photostream to make them available to the iPad, or use an online service such as Dropbox, or Photobucket to view them on the iPad

Well we have a couple of options, the one i prefer is the iPhoto route its also similar in Windows.
Option 1
If you own a Mac and iPhoto you can create an Event called Videos and drop selected videos you may want from other events. For windows its the same thing but instead you will be creating a Video folder under My Pictures.
In iTunes go to Devices this is where your iPhone or iPad appears. You will find your iPhone or iPad select the Photos tab, under (Sync Photos from) hit the drop down menu and select the (iPhoto) option. Here you will check (Selected albums Events, and Faces, and automatically include no Events). Select the appropiate events including your video Events or folders.
The Main thing that brings this together is making sure you select include videos under the same Photos tab.
You should now have these folders or events in your iPhone, iPod or iPad.
Option 2
The other option we have is using a USB iPhone cable with a USB adapter sold from apple. It comes with an SD card reader and USB reader. The name of the product is named the Apple iPad Camera Connection kit

Updating and syncing issues from iPhone to iPad

I have two issues. I just got new iPhone and after creating an iCloud account all my contacts will only appears numbers on my phone (no names attached to the contacts) and now that updated my iPad to io5 nothing will sync with my iPhone. I checked my settings and wifi is on as well as photo stream is on. I'm so confused!

Assuming you are using the same AppleId on both devices (Settings App > iTunes & App stores), you should be able to open the itunes app, select Purchased from the lower menu and download any items you have purchased on the account.

I import 1920 res video and I did not even notice before my movies were out of sync.
I mean is there a plan that Premiere will fix this? Or we have to start paying double price?
This is a complete joke that you have to use another software to render, much cheaper software instead of premiere, that is useless now for me.
Just have me thinking, I will not buy y newer version because it is useless for my pofessional usage.

It did not work, I tried to save as reference from quictime pro version, still the audio is out of sync. ALso I trie dot rename file from mpg to .mov., still same issue.

I am sticking with Camtasia studio now, but I would love to use Premiere if it would workk.

I'm reading that it's not possible to import video direct from a DSLR (Nikon D7000 or Olympus Pen, for example) onto the iPad 2, and edit, then export.
Is this the case?
I'd like to be able to work remotely, taking stills and video (with audio) that I can then edit on the iPad and upload.

There are several Apps that allow transfers device to device via WiFi. I like PhotoSync the best, but there are others. Both devices need to be on the same WiFi network, but other than that the transfer is fast and goes either way. Works for photos and videos.
