FV11 Key combination

Dear Team,
I want to know for the condition record maintenance by FV11, what is the key combination generally used in taxinn procedure or what is actual practice or what sap suggest.
Can i use the combination tax classification in taxinn procedure, because using the other combination like vendor/plant/material for thousands of material is very lenghty job.
Please suggest.

Thanks for the valuable replies. But shiva i can't use the material group because not suited to my client business reqd.
I want to know what actual the practice in indian scenario.
Also can i go for Tax classification combination?
If i can go for tax classification combination then why sap has not included it for jtax access sequence.

FV11 key combination issue - Materials - Services

Hi MM experts,
I am having problem while making the PO - Services.
We are separate POs for material & services.
FV11 key combination maintained for Materials : Plant/Vendor/Material
FV11 key combination maintained for services : Plant/Vendor/Materail Group
While making PO- Material, If select V1- Taxes conditions are coming - which is required & right
                                           If select V0 - Taxes conditions are not flowing
While making PO- Services, If select V1- Taxes conditions are coming & taxes are flowing in PO - which is required & right
                                           if select VO - then also same conditions are coming & taxes are flowing in PO
here my requirement is why services PO the V0 - taxes & tax conditions are flowing as maintained in FV11 key combination
pl help in arresting the Services-PO - Taxes & Tax conditions should not flow when we select V0.

I think my query is not clear, i repeat the same.
1. I am maitaining Fv11 for Vat i.,e JVRD conditions, this will be triggered when i use V1 in while making PO- Materials, all the tax values ie., Vat amount is flowing in PO,
If I select V0, then the tax conditions are not flowing and values are nil. PO- Materials, all the tax values Nil, and the po value is without any Vat amount.
2. Similarly, I am maintaining FV11 for service tax ie., JSRT -10%, JEC1-2% & JSEC-1%, this will be triggered when I use S1 in while making PO-services, all the tax values ie., service, ec, sec cess amounts are flowing in PO.
If is select V0, then also the tax conditions are flowing in PO- services, all the tax values ie., service tax, ec, sec cess
I want the PO-Service, without any taxes, when I select standard Tax condition V0.
Pl suggest, do we have separate tax conditions for materials & services, meaning
V1 - taxes to flow in PO- Materials
V0 - Taxes not to flow in PO- Materials
S1 - Services taxes to flow in PO- Services
S0 - Services not to flow in PO- Services   -
> this is to be created new??????????
pl advise, how i over come the issue of services taxes flow in PO-Services.

Creation of Condition table & assigning in Key Combination(FV11)

Dear all,
I have created a new Condition table(M/03) for Plant/Vendor Code/Tax code/Material,and i am getting the condition table in the key combination in FV11,and maintained,getting the values in the condition table.But my problem is i am not getting the maintained values in my Purchase Order.Please give any suggestions to solve this problem

FV11 - Wrong key combination

Hi
I am from FICO. I have a doubt in FV11.
I created condition type ZSER and added it in pricing procedure. I defined tax code ST in FTXP. There i did not gave tax percentage
Now went FV11 for giving percentage. When i put condition type and press enter, it asks for combination key as
1. Tax Classification
2. Plant / Vendor
But when i saw it in one of my other client where tax codes were done by MM person, key combination is showed as
1. Tax Code
2. Tax Classification
Let me know why its not comming.

Set up the following Access Sequences in the the IMG under Financial Accounting -
Financial Accounting Global Settings---->Tax on Sales/Purchases -
Basic Settings -
Check Calculation Procedure -
Access Sequences:
You need to configure the access sequence for JTAX,
Search Access Sequence JTAX, Select it
Double click on Access, it will lead to new Screen
Go to New Entries , GIve the No. as 80 or that doesn't exit previously and give the table no. as 3
Similarly you can go for
¡ JST1
hope this will solve your problem. This is workbench request , if you have multiple client in the same server it will be affected to all client.

for this you need to create condition table of ur own or if look for existing table having the required key combination field
then you need to maintain that condition table for ur pricing procedure
u can do this at
spro> MM> purchasing->condition->define price detremination process--> maintain condition table
there you need to enter the created condition table no.
then in fv11 you can see that key combination

pls tell me, how to find the key combination has maintaintained for a particular condi type.. ie. for condi type JMOP in which combination (tax code or plan/mat./vendor or mat. grp/plant) the tax rate *has maintained??

Dear Raju
Just Go to T Code Se11 or SE16
Enter Table as A363 after entering table A363 in Condition type Enter JMOP and Execute
You will find for condi type JMOP (tax code or plan/mat./vendor or mat. grp/plant)
To find tax code just get the cond record no after executing A363 and in KONV you will find the tax code maintained for the combination

I wud like to have key combination for Tax conditions maintained at FV11, as per the following
Plant / Vendor / Service Activity number
Kindly revert whether the above is possible to configure or not. We are using Taxinn procedure. Itemwise/service levelwise the tax can be taken care thru FV11?

With the help of SAP labs, the issue has been resolved by activating Taxes at services level in ESM.

Service Tax - Key Combination to Maintain Condition Record

Dear Experts,
Can anybody please explain which Key Combination is to be selected while maintaining Condition record for Service Tax ( 0% service tax and Service tax 12.5 + ECS).
I have created two tax codes - S1 and S0. please explain the procedure to maintain condition record for Service Tax.

HI,
TAXINN is condition based. The functionality does not work with tax codes, tax codes are for informative purpose..
JMX1 can be maintained in FV11 with the help of a key combination.
When you create this condition with respect to vendor/material combination then when a PO is made with these 2 combination the system gets the percentage / value from the condition record and calculates the price.

Hi,
The Access sequence JTax should be the access sequence of the Tax condition types .
Financial accounting > Tax on Sales/ Purchases> Basic settings
Then using the FV11 for the Tax condition types, the access sequence " Tax classification " can be used.

Change the font color of a text field in a table by key-combination

I want to change the font color of a text field in a table (single cell only) on pressing a key combination. Does anybody know how to do this.
I have a lot of data in a table. During an evaluation of the data in a meeting I want to change the color of the text depending on the result of the meeting. (for example: High risk = CTRL+R makes the text red).
I know how to change the color using a button, but I do not want to add a button after each cell. For this reason I would like to do it on a key combination that alway refers to the active cell.

Hi,
I don't think you can use the ctrl key like that as those shortcuts will be intercepted by Reader (ctrl-R toggles the ruler display on / off). You also might have trouble updating the color while you still have focus on it. You can use the shift key in a similar way, so if you only have lower case characters in the text fields then you can do something like;

            break;

If you need uppercase characters maybe you can have one button to set "review mode" and test that on the if (xfa.event.shift) line. But again it wont take effect until you have tabbed out of the field.

Today I tried to shutdown my computer and a window popped up saying that my computer could not shut down because the mail application was open, it wouldn't close, so I used a key combination to force mail to quit and now I can't log in. Help?

Okay, so I have been having trouble with my mail application all week. The window refused to open and would not quit. Today, I tried to shut down my mac and a pop up window told me that I was unable to shutdown because mail was open. After using a key combination, I successfully was able to quit mail with force quit. Then I was able to shut down with out a problem. However, upon rebooting, my computer refused to let me loggin. I put in my password correctly but then the rainbow pinwheel showed up and stalled for a minute and then my screen flashed and the gray screen reappeared, expecting a password. I tried turning it off and back on again with no luck. I also reset my password after reading a similar discussion, but I still can't log in. How can I fix this?

There are multiple ways to do similar things. One, built into the system, is to use text replacement. See:

There are other programs you can buy that can do the job in different ways, such as TextExpander. You could also just create a clipping file by dragging your e-mail address to somewhere like the desktop, and then you can simply drag that file to wherever you like to insert your e-mail address there.

Key combination Ctrl-Home Ctrl-End not working.

vim has a default binding for <Ctrl-Home> goes to the beginning of the file and <Ctrl-End> for the end.
However, I couldn't get these key combinations to work for me. And I've consulted the #vim channel on freenode.
They said it maybe a problem that the terminal I'm using caught the key and didn't send it to vim, but I find this conjecture hard to believe, because I've since been testing several terminals including xfce's default, roxterm, tilda, lxterminal, lilyterm ... and none of them working.
Later when I reboot I found that, even under the pure console (tty), the combination still doesn't work !
So this must be a problem from the original key mapping itself, and not latter stuffs like xfce, terminals and editors etc...
can anyone help me fix this ? I've also seen the wiki articles but unfortunately they aren't very helpful.

The <C-{Home,End,Left,Right}> key combinations work in Xterm, but not in urxvt. All of the terminals that I recognize mentioned above are all VTE based terminals. This thread here:

is showing a lot of people with gnome-terminal, also VTE based, as not working either. It's definitely a terminal issue.

How to get Multiple Key Combinations

I am trying to get the event for multiple key combinations, ie some thing like "*Ctrl + I + M*" or "*Alt + A + S + D*".
For two key combinations ( like Ctrl+I or Ctrl+M) i am able to get, but for more than two keys combinations, can someone give an idea how to get it.
I tried with both KeyCodeCombination and KeyCharacterCombination.
Below is a quick example to check for the key combination demo.
