  • Settlement Profile for Internal Order

    Dear Gurus
What is a settlement profile for a internal order?
    Regards
    Kailash

    Hi Kailash,
Settlement Profile is where you configure all the parameters to be considered and settlement to take place according to the.
Main components of Settlement Profile are...
    1. Whether cost posted to Internal Order should be settled / should not be settled ( to the settlement receiver object)
    2. Allocation Structre, in which you give the source cost elements and receiver category and settlement cost element
    3. If more than one settlement receiver is given in the settlement rule of the Internal Order, on what proportion the cost has to be settled among them,
    4. What are the valid receivers to which the Internal Order can be settled etc...
We create Settlement Profile and assign it in the Internal Order Type.
For all the Internal Orders created using that Order Type, all the settlement parameters given in the Settlement Profile will be applied.
Pls revert back if further explanation requried...

  • Status Profile for Internal Order

    Hi,
Please tell me during creation of new status profile for new internal order type under status I have mentioned LKD - Locked and PLIM - Write plan line item. What should be used its corresponding Business Transactions with No Influence, Allowed, Warning, Forbidden, No Action which i need your valuable suggestion for our new implementation project.
    Best Regards,
    Samrat

    Hi Anand,
My query is while creating Status Profile in tcode OK02, there are various business transactions are available under status which one is No Influence or Allowed or Warning or Forbidd etc. I need to know the actual business transactions required for the status profile. Presently I have mentioned two business transactions which are Release and Write plan line item under status LKD(Locked). Release indicator is "Not Influence" and "Set". And Write Plan Line Items checked only "Allowed" as business transactions. But another user status "PLIM" I am not able to incorporte business transactons. While click on new entries A to W business transactions are appearing which are all "No Influence". But after saving the screen and back from the screen records(Business transactons) are not being saved properly.
I want to know the actual reason... Kindly need your suggestion...

  • Internal Order for AUC Asset not getting created Automatically

As per SAP Standard , when I create an  AUC Internal Order (KO01), and save , AUC asset is gets created automatically ted via AS01 and stores the AUC Asset in Internal Order settlement rule.
However when tried with the client Im not able to create, AUC is not getting automatically created and stored in Int Order Settlement rule.
In config I have added investment profile to Ord Type  and in OAOA ( AUC Asset class setting , Investment profile is also checked)
Kindly let me have your inputs to fix the issue
    Advance Thanks
    Sanjai

    Hi,
In order to create AUC asset automatically by the system, you need to create an investment profile in OITA.
Then assign this investment profile in the Internal order master data created through KO01 in the Investments tab.
There is no option of assigning the Investment profile in the Order type.
And in OAOA that is Asset class, select the radio button investment measure.
You can default the Asset class of AUC in the investment profile or leave it blank so that same can be filled when system prompts for AUC creation.
You cant see the AUC asset in the settlement rule once Investment order is created, but only after settlement of the balances to the AUC u can see.
    Thanks & Regards,

  • Bad ramifications of color profile used in previews

It seems that Aperture's choice of color profile for its previews has some rather wide implications. In a RAW workflow, previews are assigned an Adobe RGB profile. In a JPG workflow, previews aren't generated at all at first (which makes sense - no need to create a JPG from a JPG), but they are created once you edit a photo. Then once again, the preview is assigned an Adobe RGB profile, irrespective of the color profile of the original photo. This all kind of makes sense. Presumably, Adobe RGB is the same as, or close to, the color profile Aperure uses internally.
The problem comes when photos are "shared". With the Aperture preference set to "Share previews with iLife and iWork", Aperture generates an XML file that can be used by external programs. This XML file points the external program at the previews (or the original in the case of an unedited JPG). Then photos can be picked up in various places:
    * In mail.app via the Photo Browser.
    * In any app via the Media section in Finder.
    * On an Apple TV via the "Choose photos to share" option in iTunes.
BUT - all these photos (with the exception of an unedited JPG) will ALWAYS have an Adobe RGB profile. This is generally not good, since the photos will display badly in any app that isn't color managed. Unfortunately, this seems to apply to Apple TV. Photos there have the typically subdued look of Adobe RGB when not color managed. The situation actually gets worse with JPGs. An unedited JPG which originally had an sRGB profile will display fine, but as soon as you edit that photo in Aperture, it willl display badly because now iTunes/Apple TV is working with an Adobe RGB profile. I've done tests and it's painfully obvious.
Anyone else come across this? I'm not sure what can be done. Maybe having an option to generate proviews using sRGB would be good, but that might involve too much processing in Aperture when it's continually generating previews as you edit.
    Thoughts appreciated!

The export settings don't have any effect on the problem, unfortunately. What preference are you referring to? Do you mean the Import "tab" in Aperture prefs? That just governs what Aperture uses for its initial preview. it will now, by default, use the preview that is embedded in every RAW file to speed up processing. As soon as you look at the photo, even without editing it, it will then generate its own JPG preview (with Adobe RGB profile).
I haven't received any other feedback about this problem anywhere, which is surprising to me. I think I can only post the problem through Apple feedback, and hope for the best. It seems that, in the meantime, the only course of action is to export everything you need to display properly on an AppleTV, and re-import those JPGs into Aperture (or iPhoto) so they can be displayed via iTunes. A royal pain!

  • How to get the list of icc profile, which Photoshop loaded?

I am developing a automation plugin, but I do not know how to get the list of icc profile, which photoshop loaded.
I have read the log of "getter" and "Listener",and not find the way to get the list.

    Thank you for you answer.
I find a icc profile has a "internal name" which show in the color setting menu in photoshop and a "external name" which is the file name. And the "internal name" maybe different with "external name".
How I can get the "internal name" from the icc profile? I do not find the information in the ICC Profile Format Specification.
    Thank you very much!

    Hi asdiaz,
I understand you have a Photosmart 7520 that you're wanting different ICC profiles for. I will do my best to guide you in this.
This isn't something that we support, but in doing a bit of research I was able to find a link to Adobe ICC Profile, and this International Color Consortium page that has a few different suggestions.

  • Digitally signing the config profile

The 'General' tab of the web configuration tool provides an interface for signing the profile. I have an internal certificate authority installed. Can someone provide guidance on how to generate a certificate for the profile using the internal CA so that it can be applied to the config file?
    Thanks!

    Good question!
I'm asking myself the same... WHAT kind of "private key" is there supposed to be? PEM, RAW, etc.
Types "raw 1 and 12" are supported, but how do I generate one of these myself using OpenSSL? And what kind is 1 and / or 12? PCKS#7 ... 12 ...?
    Badly documented, Apple!

  • Date management on internal object master data

    Hi gurus,
I need to use a set of dates on the internal object master data. On the date profile customizing there isn't anything that reflecting the management of the dates on products or internal object.
However, on the web UI (Internal Objects details screen) I found the field "Date Profile":
    - component: PRDHS
    - view: PRDHS/Header
    - context node: PRODSETWTY
    - attribute: STRUCT.TIMEPROF
This field is not active and I also searched for a set type that could allow me to activate it and to insert a date profile for my internal object without success.
I'm searching the way to activate this field on the internal object master data and to understand if it's possible to use the date profile on it.
Your help would be very appreciated.
    Thank a lot.
    Massimiliano.

    Hello,
There are no date profiles assigned to products in the CRM system, I believe the same is true for internal objects.
Generally, once a product has been added to an order then the dates from the order/APO system are what are taken into account.
I have checked into internal objects but the only date I can find reference to is a timestamp:
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_scm50/helpdata/en/f9/a67937b566ab49e10000009b38f842/frameset.htm
I have also checked on information on the attribute STRUCT.TIMEPROF but haven't found anything.
    Thanks and regards,

  • International shipments (Third party sales )

    Hi All,
Right now we are in the process of doing only domestic sales of a particular product which our company is manufacturning. There is a immediate business decision that the same product will be shipped internationally .
The catch here is that all our international sales orders are third party sales orders. Since in the present situation we are doing only domestic sales , the Item category group in the material master reads NORM and the item category reads TAN .
If we need to use the same material for third party sales , we need to have item category TAS which will again depend upon the item category grp from the material master .
My question is , Is  there a way by which the same material determines different item categories in the sales order depending upon the kind of sales ( domestic/International) ????.
Note : The sales area for both domestic and International is going to be the same.
Any useful suggestions are more than welcome !!!!.
    Thanks
    Amrith

    Welcome to SDN
As suggested you can have two order types say  OR  for domestic sales and ZOR  for international sales and have item category determination as OR + NORM = TAN and ZOR + NORM = TAS in VOV4
This should be the ideal way  so thatthere is clarity
If the management wants to go with single order type only say only OR
then have item category determination as OR + NORM = TAN and manual item cat as TAS in VOV4
So when the international sales come change the item cat manually in sales order from TAN to TAS
My question is , Is there a way by which the same material determines different item categories in the sales order depending upon the kind of sales ( domestic/International) ????.
Manually you can change the itemcat in sales order provided that is defined in VOV4

  • Asset Under Construction creation, Internal Orders,

    Hi,
We employ internal orders for collecting costs for an AUC. However, we have a requirement in which when an internal order is created for asset under construction, SAP has to automatically create an AUC asset and assign it in the settlement profile of the internal order. Is this possible? If so what configuration should I do.
    Thanks for your help.
    Ram

    Hi Ram,
Yes. It is very much possible. You will have to create an Investment profile for that and in the investment profile give the Asset class of the AUC. Do this in transaction OITA.
When this investment profile is entered in each Internal order you create, the system automatically creates an AUC asset to which the costs can be settled.
Read the documentation for Investment Management component in the IMG and SAP help. YOu will get what you need. Thanks.
    Thanks,
    Vishal.
