FW Update for N8. When?

Hi,
when will be a FW-Update available for Nokia N8?
1.) It is not possible the switch the message storage from internal memory to SD-Card.
All messages and emails will be stored in the small internal memory (SD-Card and internal 16GB are not available for messages)
2.) the call management: I can set the message text of the function "reject call with message" ,but the function itself is not available. I can't activate or deactivate it.

Nokia does not announce the availability of new firmwares through this forum, they very rarely announce them in advance anywhere.
Usually with new devices the first firmware update appears quickly, within the first month or two.

Similarily, the iPad 2 did not get Siri and some other features in iOS 6.

Installed Shuffle Update for Tiger when have only OS 10.3.9

Now shuffle won't show up on desktop. Is there a way to uninstall or overwrite with old system?

Let's get this right... you ARE talking about a 2nd Gen Shuffle which you "updated" in iTunes 7.0.2? And before that it showed up on your desktop and in iTunes as it's supposed to and NOW it doesn't?
The reason I'm asking is that there's NO Tiger specific update to either generation of Shuffle, NOR is there a Tiger specific iTunes version...

I have installed the update for Itunes, when restarting it Itunes said a file was missing, I uninstalled it and downloaded it again and the same thing happened... Any clue what to do????

I have no clue why I keep getting this message, I downloaded and installed it three different times and still getting a message that a file or something is missing. My husband had no problem with his up date for Itunes. Any thoughts as to what to do???

What's the precise text of the message, please? (There's a few different ones I can think of that you might be getting.)

You must Restore the phone. It will probably only worth with an AT&T SIM, unless your friend had AT&T unlock it first. The phone may be jailbroken, also; one indication of this would be the app "Cydia" on the phone's Home screen. If it is the phone is most likely worthless to you.

jpg does not support Layers.
Just to make sure, what exactly do you mean by "stacking photos" and what do you want to achieve thereby?

For the 2nd day my iPhone 5 will not let me download updates for apps. When i click update, it acts as if it is going to update but puts all apps in "waiting" status. I've tried selecting each, as well as deleting and re-downloading but to no avail.

Oh my gosh I had the EXACT same problem, and for ages I couldn't figure out how to fix it until today. Here's what I did:
First I went onto my computer, opened itunes, and un-installed tumblr, vine and kik. These were the apps I was having problems with (it said I had them on my phone but, like you, they didn't show).
Then I went to the itunes store, searched for each one, and it said I could update them so I did (just FYI: for tumblr a window popped up saying "please click ok to confirm you are 17 years or older", so I did that also)
When I went back to my phone and tried installing them again (still on my computer), it worked!

Hi I can't update my apps when I try to update it asks for password when used it goes back to update. I think I'm not alone and have tried changing date switching off signing out and in and rebooting. Is there a solution or do I need to take it in?

Since then I get a system error message everytime I log on telling me that the program cannot be opened because 'MSVCR80.d11' is missing from my computer. When I try to open iTunes I get an 'error 7 (Windows error 126)' message and am advised to reinstall iTunes. However, when I attempt to do this, it downloads the programme and gets as far as installation, at which point I get yet another message: this time 'Service Apple Mobile Device failed to start'.

Click here and follow the instructions. You may need to completely remove and reinstall iTunes and all related components, or run the process multiple times; this won't normally affect its library, but that should be backed up anyway.

I suspect if you're trying to open a file in 08 that's been opened in 09 the file has been updated to 09 and will not open in 08.

Go to: Apple > Force Quit
and select Mail > Force Ouit.

Updated to Yosemite, no problem. now iPhoto and iMovie won't open. Says I need to update software however, when i try to update indicates my User ID and PW won't work for these two pieces of software. User ID and PW works everywhere else.

I am having the same problem. I even changed my password and updated all of my security information. Now it just gives me an error and retry message, which of course also does not work. Went to support and was going to open a chat (seemed the simpler option) and received a message that my support has expired for this serial number unless I want to pay $29.00. So I chose the option to call later, which was the exact time suck I was trying to avoid. Why wouldn't the new operating system also update the apps that were already part of my old platform?
