i bet your playing a burnt version?
if not check for updates on your game.  Usually those will fix issues related to Graphics cards,
Found this on lucasarts support page http://support.lucasarts.com/tsg/SWBFQuestions/Latest%20Updates/CrashDomesticVersion.htm. Maybe your're about that burnt version  . Maybe he have downloaded the Northern american version and plays it on a Windows version that are non english.

I have been trying to find "Star Wars: Battle for Hoth" in both iTunes and in Apps. Any suggestions on where to find it? Is it even still available?

First thing to try is a reboot of your iPad. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the iPad restart. See if that fixes your problem.
    Try the update again
Settings > General > Software Update
The update servers have been very busy so keep trying.

  • Time Machine does not display old files: the star wars screen stays stuck

I have been looking for an known report, but can't find it.
In Time Machine, I don't see the 'star wars' panels anymore. It was working when I installed it.
In an activated Timemachine screen, the date slider on the right of the screen does not react. Only the front most screen is seen = "now".
I used to have time machine on an airportextreme; but because of adding a shared USB printer I had to move the external HDD to my own iMac.
Time machine tells the backups are successful.
Did I do something wrong by moving the HDD around?
Did I do something wrong with 'permissions'? [I added myself as a user with read permissions.]
    Should I reinstall Timemachine?
    thanks in advance

Sort of. Time Machine stores backup differently when they're done locally vs. over a network.
Double-click your external HD. It should have a "sparse bundle" including the name of your computer. Those are your network backups.
Double-click the sparse bundle to mount it, then try Time Machine again. If that doesn't work, quit Time Machine and control-click the TM icon in your menubar, or right-click the TM icon in your Dock, and select the +Browse ...+ option. That should show your backups in a small window; select them and click the +Use Selected Disk+ button.
Post back with your results and we'll explain further and see how you want to proceed.

  • Star Wars Battlefront

    New trailer right here
Star Wars Battlefront will launch Friday 20th November 2015
    Details
The game will run in 60fps, resolution hasnt been confirmed yet.
There wont be a campaign mode, but you can play smaller objective based missions single player or split screen/online coop
The biggest battle size currently is 40 player (20 vs 20)
Star Wars Heroes are returning with Darth Vader and Boba Fett (bounty hunter) being confirmed so far.
The game will have split screen which is brilliant
The game will have 3rd person AND 1st person mode
The Battle of Jakku will be free to everyone that buys the game, but if you preorder you get it 1 week early.
There are currently more than 8 maps and more than 2 maps on each planet. There are 4 planets Hoth, Tattooine, Endor, and Sullust , so id say 12 maps?
You can take to the skies and engage in sky battles with Tie Fighters and X Wings, but not space battles.
The game is focused on the original trilogy so (new hope, empire strikes back, return of the jedi) that did remind me, hope they have the droids from the prequels i was a beast with droideka.
The weapons seem to have a cooling system in place instead of ammunation, so shoot for a while then let your weapon cool til you can shoot again!
The HUD is minimal showing your weapon/grenades/perk/heavy weapon
They didnt show the different Stormtrooper/rebel classes in the real gameplay demo
You can steal fallen players weapons
Killstreaks earn you powerful weapon upgrades
Yes, there will be plenty of things to unlock, achieve and collect. More on this will be revealed at a later date!
You can play as a female stormtrooper, guess they will have a slimmer model with bewbs
    Game Modes
Walker Assault - A 40 player match where the objective is for the rebels to take out a on rails AT-AT,  i assume the stormtroopers have to defend it until it reaches its destination.
You can preorder the game here - Standard Edition although you dont actually have to preorder, the game wont go out of stock you know also a deluxe version - Deluxe Edition
Here is the fantastic boxart -

  • LEGO Star Wars

I am trying to get a straight answer on what Apple systems are compatible with the LEGO Star Wars game from Aspyr. The Apple web site and the Aspyr web site both suggest that a system with the ATI Radeon 9000 or GeForce FX5200 or better video card is required. Apparently neither my G4 Mac mini nor my Intel Core Duo MacBook can play this game. The Apple web site suggests that the newer Intel Mac mini meets the requirements. My 8 year old would really like to play the game his uncle gave him for his birthday. His 6 year old Windows PC does not meet the requirements for the game and I refuse to purchase another Wincrap PC. Can someone confirm or deny this before I waste my money on a new system? I am hoping an Intel based Mac mini will meet the requirements.
Intel Core Duo MacBook   Mac OS X (10.4.9)   macmini G4

The Mac and PC versions are on the same disk. Neither work with any of my current Macs (MacBook and G4 Mac mini) because neither has the requisite video card. The specs from Apple page are:
    http://www.apple.com/games/articles/2005/08/legostarwars/index2.html#reqs
    System Requirements
    * Mac OS X version 10.3.8
    * 1.2GHz PowerPC G4 processor
    * 256MB of RAM (512MB recommended)
    * 32MB Video RAM (Radeon 9000 or GeForce FX5200 or better)
    * 2GB of hard disk space
    * DVD Drive
However, Apple game system page (http://www.apple.com/games/hardware/) has the game listed as compatible with the Intel Mac mini despite the fact that the Mac mini does not appear to have either of these video cards.

    Han Solo, hands down.
A New Hope. I still remember the day my dad took me to the cinema to watch that film, standing outside in a queue for 3 hours to get in. I've honestly lost track of how many times I've watched it but having a guess I'd say 120-130 times. I once watched it with my cousin 6 times in one day
Hmmm, I think it has to be from The Empire Strikes back when Luke leaves his training earlier to save Han Solo and Leia. Yoda isn't happy about this and is talking to the ghost of Obi-Wan who says "That boy is our last hope" to which my favourite quote is uttered from Yoda: "No, there is another". ARRRRRRAGHHHHH. As an 11 year old that was too much to bear! Who was the other Yoda referred to? Think I must have dreamt a number of times that it was me Having to wait 3 years to get my answer was no fun!
I'm actually not too fussed by the viewing order. Come December I'll be watching all 6 to get me in the mood!
As a teenager I convinced my mum and dad to let me paint 2 of my bedroom walls black. We had a friend of the family who was a good artist and he came in and painted the names of the first three films on one wall and an epic space battle on the other. It had it all. Shame I don't have any pictures of it handy otherwise I'd post them. But needless to say my room was mega cool

  • How to get Star Wars Rebels in-app purchase to transfer to children's Family Share account?

My wife downloaded the Star Wars Rebels game to her iphone and to the kids ipod/iphone with a different apple id.  We then purchased the full version from inside the app for $5.00.  I deleted the version on the kids phone, and went through the family share purchases in itunes to download the version that my wife had.  The game works but is limited because it is still telling us that we need to buy it.
How do I get the in-app purchases to transfer to my kids (family share) account.
Yes I tried the restore purchases button in the app already with no success.

    Hi, Matt.
Thank you for visiting Apple Support Communities.
I understand that you are running into an scenario where an in-app purchase will not show on a Family Sharing device.  At this time, in-app purchases are not able to be shared via Family Sharing.  I did verify that the Star Wars Rebels app is able to be shared, but the Content Packs offered with this app are in-app purchases.  If you wish to access the Content Pack on another device, you would need to purchase it on that device.
There are a few things that you can't share:
Songs added to iTunes Match from outside the iTunes Store
    In-App Purchases
Items that are no longer available on the iTunes Store
    Items that were hidden
    Apps that aren't shareable
Which purchased content can I share using Family Sharing
    Cheers,
    Jason H.

  • Complete FX5200-T128 failure?

I've just tried installing an FX5200-T128 into a PC266 motherboard (using XP1600+ processor).
The driver install was fine but the end result now is that when I boot I have about two seconds of 640x480 then the signal stops (screen goes blank and says "no signal input").
I have absolutely no idea of how to proceed - the machine still works fine when booting from the old PCI card (which I removed before starting the install - the machine won't boot with both in place) or the built in VGA slot.
I've tried setting the PC's BIOS to using PCI with an IRQ, PCI without and IRQ and just using the "built in AGP" option all with the same result.
    Any ideas very welcome.
    Thanks

    balance,
Have you try to insert your AGP Card to other system ?
maybe is the AGP Card problem.

  • Cannot open Time Machine restore screen (Star Wars)

I've got a Late 2006 iMac (amongst others) running Lion 10.7.5 which I backup to a NAS drive and for some reason I can't get into the Star Wars restore screen to access the backed up files. When I select Enter Time Machine it connects to the NAS which is a Netgear ReadyNAS Duo and sometimes it makes Finder the focus application but then nothing. The machine seems to backup just fine, no errors connects and disconnects to the NAS. I thought at first it may be the NAS or the backup set where the problem lay, but I even connected a USB drive to it, again it backs up but will not open Time Machine to restore anything. It is driving me mad all the other machine I have work just fine, and the problem is this one has some homework files for my which I need to recover.
    Thanks in advance.

Is that the one in several languages? If so, that's a *kernel panic.* They're usually hardware, but not always. Disconnect everything, except keyboard and mouse. Reconnect one at a time to see if you can find the culprit.
If that's no help, disconnect everything again and run the Apple Hardware Test, from the separate disc that came with your Mac. Instructions should be printed on it (in very tiny type).
If it passes that, you might want to download and run the Rember app, a free and much more extensive memory test: http://www.kelleycomputing.net/rember/

Several tries produced the same results. I then went to a different hard drive and opened applications for the problem hard drive.
You lost me there. What is the "different hard drive"? A clone? Of the same Mac?
Which is the "problem hard drive," the replaced internal?
It appears the restore brought back everything but almost all application icons are grayed out with a slash across them, not third party stuff either but iTunes, Safari, System Preferences, Mail etc. When clicking on them I get the pop up "You can't open the application ____ because it is not supported on this type of Mac"
This almost sounds like you got PPC stuff restored onto an Intel, or vice-versa.

  • Star Wars scrolling effect

Does anybody know how to create the Star Wars scrolling into the distance titling effect?
I assumed it was just a matter of manipulating the aspect ratio of the frame inside Livetype, but I couldn't find the controls to do this! How do I create this effect?

You can also get FXFactory, a free FXPlug handler from Noise Industries. It comes with a set of freebie filters and one of them is StarTitler. Very slick, very easy to use.

Oh, sorry, just realized this is a Livetype question. The FXPlugs from Noise Industries will get installed so you can use them with FCP and Motion, not LT.

I have been attempting to run the game "Star Wars the Force Unleashed," on a 13-inch MacBook Pro Late 2011 with Intel Graphics HD 3000, 500 gb hard drive, 2.4 GHz processor speed, and 4 gig ram, and the game seems to be going in "slow motion (commonly known as a form of lag)."  I have done my resurch and my sources have told me that I might have to turn off v-sync.  I have not found a way to do this and I was wondering what might be a way of doing this, or is there anothers solution?  Your contribution would be much appreciated.

  • Star Wars Bundle not released in a timely manner?

    Hi, Tina
Thanks for your response. The problem was due to me not fully understanding the implications of the router configuration. Under the VPN and Remote Access settings for Remote Access Control you choose which protocols are going to be used for the LAN to LAN
connection. I had blindly followed the guide which used PPTP.
What I had not realised was that the guide issued by Draytek assumed there were no other incoming VPN connections.
Because the router already used NAT to redirect port traffic, selecting PPTP for LAN to LAN disabled the NAT settings for PPTP and staff using 'on-demand' VPN connections were unable to connect because the PPTP was being treated as a LAN to LAN connection. Authentication
for the connection was failing because the router did not recognise the users' Windows domain account. Also, the there is a small explanatory note stating this will happen on that setting but I had not read it properly.
Once I changed the LAN to LAN protocol to L2TP and unchecked the PPTP option staff were again able to use 'on-demand' VPN connections.
