FX5200-VTD128 & the tv output

Hello everyone.
I have a small problem with my card, or the display properties. I recently switched to the new winxp unified driver and it works great. But now when I go into the display setttings option in control panel, the menu that would allow me to switch between my monitor or a tv output is gone. Any idea how I can find this again? Hi,
Should be more then an option on the TV. If you press the video button on your TV a few times, or on the tv remote control, it should show generally on newer models, video-1, video-2, s-video. Once you are on the video screen called s-video, it should show up on the TV. Just like going to video-1 if your dvd player is plugged into video-1, you have to go to s-video to recieve from the computer. Assuming I understood your post above correct and did not do this. If you have put the channel of your tv on s-video ignore my post. You can also right click desktop, go to properties, display(all the way on the right) then advanced, then go to your display method, and choose how it should work. You can also select TV mode there. Hope you find a solution.

FX5200 VTD128 problem

Two weeks ago, I bought the new PC components and I have following problems: Symptoms: System stops for 2 seconds, and then monitor blacks out for approx 0,5 second. It happens in different programs. I could not find any information about AGP Voltage for MSI FX5200 VTD128 card. What Voltage should be set up for AGP slot in BIOS or in Core Center?

Help with FX5200 VTD128 video capture

Hi all,
Just got this card - works great except video capture. When I try to use Windows Movie Maker, I get a message saying that the device is not responding, close any applciations that may be using the device & try again, then a message saying the device could not be used because there was an error starting the device. I have used MSI Live Update to get the latest drivers for this card. Also, I see a nVidia TV Tuner in my Control Panel - is this related to my problem?

Just a thought - had a friend with an FX5900 on an nForce chipset which would not show anything on the display. Another VGA card put in its place had the same problem. The mobo (an MSI) had two jumpers to set it in safe mode (100Mhz bus speed). After flipping these into position and turning it on there was the display!!
Reset items in BIOS and jumpers and the system went on without problem. Maybe your board has the same jumpers.

Fx5200 VTD128 Screen flickers using video in?

Hi, I just installed a MSI FX5200 VTD128 video card on a ASUS A7N8X deluxe motherboard. I used the MSI Utility to download their latest drivers. I am running WinXP. The problem I have is I run the video out from my satelite receiver to the composite video in on the video dongle. Using the MSI media center Watch TV mode the screen flickers and is almost unwatchable. I also tried hooking my VCR to the same input and had the same problem. I plan to get a better patch cable but anyone have any other suggestions?

I had the same problem with my 5600VDTR 128Mb, it seemed to be a conflict between the 2.03 (msi) wdm drivers an the 45.23 (NVIDIA) VGA drivers. Using the msi 45.33 drivers cured it for me.
However, I am now using the latest 2.13 VIVO drivers from Nvidia with the new Forceware 52.16 nvidia graphics drivers and everything works great!

XML Publisher Report not generating the PDF output.

Hi,
I am trying to develop a XML Publisher Report in R12 Vision Instance.
I have developed the rdf report and concurrent program with XML as output format. Ran the concurrent program and I got the XML output. Based on XML output I have created the rtf template. Using both the template and xml output I have created in Data Definition and Template in XML Publisher Administrator Responsibility. Now I am comming to the concurrent program and running the program, here instead of generating the PDF output it is generating again the XML output and concurrent program completing with warning status.
When I am trying to do the same in 11i Vision Instance, Concurrent Program completing with normal status and when trying to view the output it is saying "Unable to Publish output for the Processed Request".
Kindly please help me out in this issue.

Hi Mahesh,
Here the concurrent programs are not erroring out. It is completing with Warning status and when we click on View Output the output is coming in XML format instead of PDF, this is in R12 Vision Instance.
In 11i Vision Instance, concurrent program is completing with Normal Status but when we click on View Output it is saying "Unable to Publish output for specified request".

As to what exactly is damaged/faulty, no there is no certain way to tell. It could be the iPod's audio chip or something else on the logic board.
Either way you'll need to have your iPod serviced/replaced either by Apple or a third party company.

How can I get the Conditoned output from PXI 1520 in PXI 1011 combined Chassie?

I am using PXI-SCXI combined Chassie PXI 1011 for my application. I have placed three SCXI 1520 modules, a motion card PXI 7352 and PXI 6052E DAQ card in the combined chassie. You know the PXI 1520 and PXI 6052E are connected internally using the Backplane of the SCXI and is not user accessable. Now I need the conditioned output of the PXI 1520 to be used as an Analog input for the Motion Control card PXI 7352. How can I do that? Whether PXI 1180 could solve my problem? If so, how do I connect the PXI 1180 to PXI 1011?

PAYABLES NOT GETTING THE REPORT OUTPUT IN PDF AFTER APPLYING RUP5 R12

Problem Description:
We are presently facing an issue in Payables not getting the report output in PDF esp for the reports "Invoice Register", Invoice Hold Report and also other reports. We were able to generate the reports till our last test performed on last Thursday. This instance was cloned over the last weekend and probably the new upgrade to RUP5 R12,would have impacted it.
Concurrent Programs submitted are completed normal but on clicking "view output" results in Blank PDF output.
The error message what was shown is as below:
"Adobe Reader could not open 'AcrC.tmp' because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged (for example, it was sent as an email attachment and wasn't correctly decoded)".
Where could we locate ther above 'AcrC.tmp' of Adobe Reader..
could anyone please share such an experience encountered for resolution..

I suggest you speak to your DBA/sysadmin. This is not likely to be a reports problem.
Check that you can see the output from apps through the viewer (the report may not hav output anything)
Check whether you can print anything on that printer from apps.
May also be worth checking to see if you can print to another printer from this report.

Report will not generate PDF only the XML output. View XML icon disabled

I created a PDF format report.
When the report completes, View Output shows XML code not the PDF output.
View XML button is disabled from Diagnostic on view request screen.
Any thoughts. All settings are the same as when other XML to PDF reports are created. Not sure why this one is not working.

I'm afraid this is not an installation issue, it rather sounds and application server one, at the operative level.
I suggest you to post your thread at the Fusion Middleware or Developer Tools forums.
You didn't provide any OS nor Oracle / AS version, I suggest you to specify this information when posting in future threads.

Total display in the ALV output

Is do_sum in the field catalog has some restriction to display SUM in the report output. In my report around 4000 records are displaying. For some of the fields do_sum functionality used to display the total in the ouput. But for some fields it showing Total and remaining fields Total is not coming and it gives one messag in the output "The field cannot be totalled because of field overflow". Message is coming from standard Include LSKBHF__ . Is there any way to display for all the fields other than writting logic for that.

Item text is not appearing in the print output through IDOC?

I am changing the PO through IDOC. When ever there is change in the quantity ,net price and delivery date the print out put is generated autoamtically and changes are appearing the print output.
when ever there is change in the item text of PO print output is not generatiing but item text is updated in the PO.
If i change manually print out is generating for item text also but through IDOC print output is not generated . please help to slove this isuue.
i am passing the value as :

When running an xml publisher report the xml output leads to 9 mb and the excel output file leads to 20 mb.But the output records is originally 4000 records. When copy to new excel it is showing 3.5 mb only. Does anyone knows the answer for this issue?

This issue is because the Excel output from BI Publisher is MHTML (XML Publisher generates XHTML) not binary .xls.
MHTML and XHTML are more verbose formats than binary .xls.
It will be large because the current Excel output is just an HTML and not compressed like PDF. Please use the workaround (save it as .xls file). This is a known limitation of RTF layout templates.
BI Publisher Enterprise has a new feature True Excel Templates. The layouts generate binary Excel output.

Performance Issue-;How to restrict the total output of the report.

Hi Experts
I need your advise to resolve one performance issue in my BI Publisher report.
My report query is extracting more than 80000 records at once. To load these records into the report template it is taking all most 14 to 15 hours. Unfortunately i cannot change my logic to put some more filter to restrict the query output, as this is the requirement from the client.
Is there any way i can restrict my report so that it will extract the first 1000 record and on the event of pressing next it will extract the next 1000 record and so on from the point when it left in last time.
Kindly let me know if you have any solution for this.
