FXG does not change image after saving.

I have installed the fxg plugin. I can make edits and save, however, in Catalyst the image does not change. I have follwed the instructions to the letter, but no changes are made. I refreshed the artboard but that didn't help either. What am I missing?

Item category not change able after saving

Hi guys,
I have a problem (ECC 6.0).
After saving a sales order, I'm not able to change the item category for the added item after saving the document. It's some kind of service material (DIEN) to charge labour to the customer.
I found that if I maintain the MRP3 view with the strategy group 10, I'm able to change the category after saving. But as the MRP views are disabled for service materials (DIEN) and there's no need for MRP for service materials, I don't get rid of the problem.
Please help me to solve that problem.

Normally If it is open sales order then you can able to change the item category provided manual item categories available in T Code - VOV4, if there are any subsequent documents are there then you are no longer to change the same.

Library module: clicking on filmstrip image does not change image in loupe

LR 3.4.1, 64 bit, Windows 7
In the library module, clicking on an image in the filstrip does not update the image viewed in the loupe view. How do I get that behavior back?

Well, whatever it was, it went away with a reboot. Thank God.

Screen resolution does not change back after using a projector

Hi!
My office uses several different models of macbooks, but there is a small problem with all the Airs. When I have been using them with a projector I have to change back the screen resolution manually (go to the system settings and change resolution). On the macbook pros, however, the desktop restores themselves as soon as the projector is disconnected. It seems to me that this should be the standard behaviour of all macs, does anyone know why it is not working on the Airs?

Hi Erik,
I had this problem on a MacBook and resolved it by recreating some plist files.
~/Library/Preferences/ByHost/com.apple.windowserver.xxxxxxxxxxxx.plist
~/Library/Preferences/ByHost/com.apple.preference.displays.xxxxxxxxx.plist
The xxxx's are your machine's EthernetID (MAC Address). I wouldn't delete, rather just move them to your Desktop and restart the computer. See if that resolves it.

Photoshop does not show Image after converting to sRGB

Hey,
i just got a new Eizo Coloredge Monitor which i conectetd to my Macintosh.
Everything seems to be fine actually. But when i´m converting an Image from Pro Photo to sRGB for instance... the Photoshop Window does just show a black window.
I think it is just some kinda new function or some kinda Colorspace warning, but i just dont get around it and don´t really know what this means..
Can someone help me .. or maybe had the same problem??

Are you stating when you use edit Convert to Profile abe in the convert dialog you check preview the change the profile to convert to different profiles like sRGB or sgray and others that you see a black image window with no image in it?

What is the problem specifiaclly?
If the images are intended for web use I would recommend converting them to sRGB which could be done with Edit > Convert to Profile or with File > Save for Web, but as including a Save step in Actions and applying them as Batch can sometimes cause problems I would go with regular converting.
You could also try Image Processor Pro.

Hints image on the animation panel does not change.

Help I have several animation panels when the program initializes from the constructor. I have a separate AnimationPanel class that creates each panel for display. The initial ?hello ? welcome panel (from the constructor) animates on the main panel when the program begins.
The problem is I want to have different animation panels (that are stored ) to animate and replace the main panel animation at a push of a button. While, the various panels can animate if called from the constructor, they do not animate when called from a button.
The buttons I created to switch the main animated panel with a different one seems to work to the extent that it gets the correct music, but the image on the animation panel does not change.
I know this is a more in depth of a question but might you be able to give me a point in the right direction?
Here is the code from the constructor that works fine in the constructor to start the main animation.

The problem is that I now start it with no animation to begin with and just an empty panel, but still when I try to add an animation from the button and it will not start. The contentPane is in a different class that places the buttons and the view together.

Here's the error message I get.
Note the TC is connected to my Airport Extreme via ethernet and my iMac is also connected to the AX via ethernet so it's not a wifi issue.
I can see the TC in the finder so it's not 'gone' from the network either.
Also note that just then the TM system pref pane was claiming a backup error, citing my 'network password' and still refusing to backup. I waited 5 minutes and did some tidying of my office while I pondered this and then tried again and voila it worked ok.

Hello Saralynn43. Getting new updates is always fun, but then there are certain changes that can take some getting used to! This may be one of these cases where there may have been a change done to the notification system. What are the notifications that have been affected with the color change? Have yu tried the standard fixes:
- Resetting:
Press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home
button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Restoring the iPOd via iTunes. First from backup and if problem persists, restore to factory defaults/new iPod
- Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since you likely have a hardware problem

I tried to sync and upload the iOS 5.0 version to my iphone 4 all was well it was processing then it just stopped and Now my actual I phone is frozen. I have turned it off. I have rebooted it several times the I phone itself shows a CD with a music not over it and under it in small letters iTunes with an arrow pointing up wards and a picture of the small end cable on the screen . it will not move change unlock it is frozen into that position.. how do i get the useage of my phone back this is rather daunting wehn all i was trying to do was up load the most recent version upgrade of iOS.. THe phone is NOT jail broken.. all i want to do is have it return back to how it was before i started the updae version process obviously it did not take and now it is locked into plave the screen will not change.. after reboots and shut down when i turn it back on the same screeen appears the cd disc with the music note over it and the arrow pointing upwards and a picture of the small end of the charge cord that fits into the actual compute.. I have installed apple Aperture 3.03 and the complete Nick software plug-in selection:
• Dfine 2.0 for Aperture
• Color Efex Pro 3.0 Complete for Aperture
• Silver Efex Pro for Aperture
• Sharpener Pro 3.0 for Aperture
• Viveza 2 for Aperture
History
Until a few days ago the system was running ok / no notable issues on performance. / all pug in seem to run good / no issues. Also
• I Run OSX10.4/ Aperture 3.03 ( 32Bit mode)
• My library contains just over 10000 images / approximately 140GB
• I have recently updated the OSX software update including the security update 2010-005
• as well as the Snow leopard graphic update 1.0
• As far as I am aware all updates where automatically recommended by OSX Software update ( no manual intervention).
• As far as I remember after update the system still was running ok but honestly I can not tell you how many times the Nick Plug in started out of Aperture.
After all, Several times I continued using the system / still no noticeable problem until the following was happening:
Problem:
After creating with "PT gui" a panoramic image File type: "TIF" Pixel size: 5112 × 2556 (13,1 MP) I imputed this file in to Aperture (drag and drop). During the attempt to eddied this file with "Nick Define 2.0" the system was hamming up No response for several minutes from Dfine 2.0 / Aperture" At the end I had to "force quit" the applications.
After the consequential reopening of Aperture I tried again to eddied images with any Nick software Plug-In but each time Aperture prepares any image previously stored in my Library ti open the Pug in the following Error message appears:
*"This image cannot be rendered for editing because Aperture does not support the image format"*
Currently non of my previously in the library safed images can be opened in a Nick software Plug-In this applies to all file types I have tied " Raw, tif, jpg"
• I am still able to eddied normally with Aperture ( so far I do not find any other issue)
• A newly imported Raw image after being taken with my EOS 5D can be edited in the completed Nick software Plug-In selection ( so far I do not find any other issue)
The following actions have been taken to overcome the issue (all not successful):
• I restored my Library out of my back Up ( to previous time of event ( no Time machine back up)
• Uninstallation of all Nick software Plug-In selection
• Uninstallation Aperture Reinstallation Aperture / Nick software Plug-In selection
• Repairing the library ( all three possibilities)
• installation of latest EOS utilitys
Questions
• Can you support me to overcome this issue?
• Have you heard similar issues of Nick user Running the Aperture plug-ins?
For me it is really strange that even after replacing the the library in my normally not connect back up the problem still exists (this should be not affected by the event as the back up was not done any more) / new imported images are editable with the Plug-In.
I would be happy if you could support me in this issue.

I have just had the same problem
I use
• Aperture 3.03 with a iMac 2.8 Intel Core 2 Duo with all files on external hard disks (mac extended fomat as apple suggests) with referenced masters.
• Camera Nikon D300, with probably 75,000+ images on 2 hard drives
• Photoshop CS2 with PhotoTools 2.5 plugin
This has been working perfectly until yesterday when the system froze when I was using PhotoTools 2.5 with Photoshop CS2 - as a result of which I resorted to a force quit.
Since then on most of my files it has not been possible to use an external editor.
A message appears saying: *Editing Error - This image cannot be rendered for editing because Aperture does not support image format*.
The problem seems to apply to the attempted use of any external editor (including Noise Ninja)
The following have each been tried, all unsuccessfully:
- Using each of Aperture's library 3 first aid options
- Rebuilding directory using Diskwarrior
- Checking for virus using Virus Barrier X4
- Defragmenting library hard disk using TechTool pro
- Changing permissions settings
- Using Disk Utility first aid to repair permissions and checking main disk
- Removing some plist elements when open 'show package contents' of library
- Setting up a(n almost clean) new system, with newly loaded version of Aperture, with a new library from a vault saved prior to the crash when the problem first occured
Several things seem to me to be totally bizarre:
1 - The problem is the same on the other library hard disk which was not in use at the time
2 - The problem still occurs when a back up vault saved prior to this problem is loaded - using a new hard disk with a new system and a newly reloaded and upgraded Aperture software
3- The problem seems inconsistent. It appears to affect some photos but not all. Even from the same shoot, some photos can be edited using an external editor, whilst others cannot (but as far as i can tell most of the photos in a particular album seem to be consistently affected)
4- The only way around it seems to be if I import a new (copy image) from the original master. Then everything works ok, and I can successfully edit that copy image in photoshop / phototools plug-in.
I am beginning to wonder whether what has been corrupted is Aperture's ability to make copies from the master file which it then uses with the external editor (I have no real idea whether this is correct)
Does anyone have any ideas or solutions - or has anyone else been suffering a similar problem?

BED not changing value after Qty change in MIGO

When we are doing MIGO, a message is coming - Ensure that you can receive more quantity on the same excise invoice..after that we can't save the document.
Scenario:
First i do J1IEX, there Excise Invoice Quantity was 1216 and BED was 684.61 on it.
But when we do MIGO, We are just changing the Qty from 1216 to 1000. BED should calculate automatically after change the Qty but not changing.
After that when we are going to post the document, above mentioned message coming and document not saved.

Solved myself..
Solution is maintain the Excise Group with below path: -
SPRO--> Logistics General --> Tax on Goods movement --> India --> Basic Settings --> Maintain Excise Group.
Now db click on suitable Excise Group. There, check on EI capture under MIGO Settings window.
After done that at the time of MIGO, BED rate should calculate automatically.

but does not change the remote file i.e.Index.htm, or three stages1.htm.
My Localroot folder is C:\Gods Plan Web\
The site map layout is C:\Gods Plan Web\Index.htm
The folder for the remote site is /public_html/
Should the local root folder mirror the remote site, i.e./public_html/
if this is so, what should I put into the
(a) Local Root Folder box?
(b) site map layout box?
The FTP is performing well other than changing the intended file.

You should be uploading only the contents of your local root to the public_html folder (remote root).
The index.html you use as your site's home page needs to be in your site root. If you look at your Files window in DW, you should have something like the following...
Site - Whatever you named your site
     index.html
     images
     pages
          page1.html
          page2.html
If you have any folder between Site - and the index.html page, like...
Site - Whatever you named your site
     mywebsite
          index.html
It will upload to the public_html while still in that folder, so to find your page online, you would need to type something like...
www.mydomain.com/mywebsite
public_html should NOT appear within your local files and if it existed there, would cause a redundancy if uploaded. You would need to type www.yourdomain.com/public_html to see the uploaded pages.
If you could post a screen shot of your expanded Files window while connected to the server (just connect and click the Expand button in Files, don't drill down into any of the directories), we may be able to see the issue.
