~~HangTime V1.9.9.8 [Will Compute for Food] B-)>

Was able to work with Martin on a few bugs and some easy tweaks. For the price, ya can't lick it. Closest thing to SoundEdit Pro I have seen, and nothing like it available for PC. Even Sony's SoundForge pales in comparison!

  • Amadeus Pro not recognizing keyboard shortcut

Am using the latest Amadeus Pro (1.4.5) and the keyboard shortcuts for zooming in/out vertically is "option +-" but this isn't working for me. Just getting horizontal zooming. Unfortunately, there is no explicit Menu Command for zooming in/out vertically (just the shortcut according to the manual) so I can't customize the Keyboard Shortcut. Any ideas?

I don't see any of those keyboard combos in my shortcut menus and Command +- doesn't do anything. Option +- worked fine on pervious versions of Amadeus Pro...but just stopped working for this new version, for some reason. The developer has no clue and says he can't reproduce this.

  • How do I import an Amadeus Pro sound file into iMovie?

I am fairly new to the Imovie 08 program and have a few questions.
I've made the moveie and am in the process of editing out what I need and don't need. I have a sound file that I created in Amadeus pro that I need to use as the voice-over for the movie. I just can't figure out how to use that sound file over the movie. Can anyone help?
    Thanks

The sound file must be in a supported audio codec like MP3, AAC, or several others.
Place the sound file in a drive and a folder where you can leave it while your video project is active. If you move it later by using the finder, iMovie will not know how to find it.
Now, drag the file into iMovie and drop it on the first clip where you want it to start playing.

What should I do? Should I need to install Snow leopard v10.6.8 first? So I need to get/buy the software OS X Snow Leopard from Apple frst? Please help:(
    Thank you!

First, make sure that your Mac is one of the supported models that can run Mavericks

And also check that your Apps are even going to work on Mavericks or will need to be updated. Any PPC programs (Office 2004 etc.) will no longer work.

  • Fyi: SoundTrack Pro 2 Released

STP2 was announced just a few minutes ago at NAB. Sadly it's still only available as part of the Final Cut Studio bundle, but it sure does look neat. Check out the Video Demo:

That does look nice. It seems to have the same kind of intuitive design that GB has, user-friendly, and yet very versatile and flexible.

  • ANN: AutoFlow Pro plug-in released

    PRESS RELEASE:
June 8, 2009 NYC, NY, USA - In-Tools, developers of automated computerized publishing solutions, announces the release of AutoFlow Pro 1.0, a plug-in for InDesign CS3 and CS4. AutoFlow Pro combines with InDesign's sophisticated composition abilities to provide a remarkably advanced solution for flowing and reflowing entire documents, and requires only minimal user attention. With AutoFlow Pro you fully control the layout of both text and images, using both master frames and non-master frames.
AutoFlow Pro is simple enough for even beginner users, but is also an incredibly advanced plug-in that has the power to automate the flow of documents in extremely complicated ways. The automation is exceptionally flexible and is useful in a wide range of applications.
AutoFlow Pro adds the following functionality to InDesign's composition of documents:
AutoFlow Pro dynamically expands and shrinks individual text frames, and threaded stories.
AutoFlow Pro adds and removes text frames and pages as necessary to fit text.
AutoFlow Pro does not require the use of master text frames. This is an important advantage over other products which offer auto-flow capabilities.
AutoFlow Pro adds the ability to apply unique settings to any or every individual story in a document, which is far more flexible than InDesign CS4's document-wide-only ability.
AutoFlow Pro intelligently flows the text according to your setting.
AutoFlow Pro applies master pages according to your settings to transform ordinary master pages into dynamic page templates that can move and resize both text frames and graphic frames, by simply applying a different master page!
AutoFlow Pro's transformations can be automatically activated by text reflows.
AutoFlow Pro can link paragraph styles to master pages and automatically apply the correct master page as necessary.
AutoFlow Pro can automatically thread stories across different master pages.
AutoFlow Pro can automatically reposition and resize both text frames and graphic frames when page sides or the applied master page changes.
AutoFlow Pro provides the following valuable benefits for book compositors, magazine producers, and graphic designers in general:
Transform your master pages into dynamic templates.
Take complete control of your document flow.
Let automatic pagination free you to actually design your publication.
Retain full quality control of your publication in collaborative environments.
Instantly adjust the layout of an entire page or group of pages.
Increase precision with text frames which will always fit exactly to your text.
Save time and headaches when reflowing text.
    Pricing and Availability:
AutoFlow Pro licenses can be purchased from the In-Tools Web site, www.in-tools.com at an introductory price of $99 (USD) for use with InDesign CS3 or CS4, on a single Macintosh or Windows workstation. AutoFlow Pro is also available as part of the InBook and InSefer plug-in packages. When purchased as part of the InBook  or InSefer plug-in package, use is allowed on up to two personal workstations. A 30 day fully functional Demo is available for download. In-Tools is offering a FREE upgrade to all licensed users of Auto-Flow (a much more basic, now-discontinued product which offered auto-flow capabilities). AutoFlow Pro is available for both Macintosh and Windows, and works with Adobe InDesign CS3 and CS4.

  • SBSH Calendar Pro public beta released - available for free download!

    Hi all!
We've just released our first version of SBSH Calendar Pro, initially released today as public beta and available for free download to all users!
In a nutshell, the goal of Calendar Pro is to offer a powerful personal information manager (PIM) that replaces the built-in Calendar and Tasks applications on your BlackBerry device with a more robust time management system. Calendar Pro brings integrated display and management that allow you to manage both appointments and tasks in one solution, innovative item editing dialogs with: tab-based interface, full screen note preview, field-icons and much more!
While in initial public beta stages the application is available for free download (and also doesn't include any future limitations, so it will continue to operate). It is important to mention that future versions of the application are planned to be commercial eventually (this is something I believe is important to clear), but at these initial stage we would like to get many users to help us with feedback about the application development and in return we decided to go with this free public beta phase that we hope will help us receive more feedback from our users in return
Users that would like to read more about the new public beta version can find the complete information and download details at the following URL:
    http://forums.sbsh.net/index.php?showtopic=24629
As mentioned above, if you decided to take Calendar Pro for a try we invite you to post back with your experience and please be sure to post back with any new ideas, features requests and so on that you have - with this information we will structure upcoming public beta versions that will be out every week or so from now, and hopefully within a few more updates we will also get closer to the first official release.
The road for the new Calendar Pro is still long (we are aware to this), but we hope that with the help of our users we will be able to bring a new fine product to the market! We really hope that you will enjoy the new PIM application and that indeed there is a need for such new applications in the BlackBerry market as we think there is
    Cheers!
Message Edited by Avishay on 02-23-2009 04:51 AM

    Good day all!
As we continue with the development of Calendar Pro for BlackBerry I'm excited to post today a new public beta version of Calendar Pro to version 0.9.2!
Following the successful release of the first public beta version we've moved forward in full speed and implemented with this new public beta version many of the features that were raised by our users here on the forums along with many bug fixes that were reported since the first public beta version was released a few weeks ago. Similar to the first public beta version, this new public beta version is also available as free download to all users - you will find the download links for the new version towards the bottom of my post here!
For those of you who still didn't had a chance to check the first version release of Calendar Pro we invite you to Click here to read the first public beta version release post to get more familiar with Calendar Pro.
What's new in Calendar Pro 0.92?
    1. Monthly view and Weekly view receives a new preview pane!
With this new version both the Monthly view and the Weekly view now include a new preview pane placed at the bottom of the views, allowing you to easily see what are the events for the currently selected day (on the Monthly view) or the currently highlighted item (for the Weekly view). The new preview pane addition greatly enhances the overall usability of the two views by bringing more real content to the user when using these views. Using the Weekly view without the preview pane as with the previous version didn't provide much information to the user and therefore we are positive that this addition will be really important for users and hope you will enjoy this new addition!
    2. Task Remidners
Following a lot of requests for such addition, the new version finally introduce task reminders support! This means you can now also configure reminder values for your tasks easily within Calendar Pro task editors We plan to continue and enhance this direction some more with future upcoming update and would love to hear your input on this section and how things are working here too.
    3. Full task category editing capabilities
Using the new version you will now also enjoy complete task category editing capabilities such as adding new categories, editing existing category names and deleting exiting categories from your list of categories
At this stage categories management is only available for tasks due to some technical limitation that we are having, but we are working to see how we can have this added for appointments too with upcoming public beta versions of course
    4. And much more!
As with any new version you will find lots of additional improvements and bug fixes! I'm afraid that we don't have a specific list of all of these changes that were implemented with this new latest version, but you should be able to find many of the different various reports fixed with this new version and things working far better! We of course plan to continue working towards this direction with our upcoming updates and continue and develop Calendar Pro to become a robust time management solution for BlackBerry users
Downloading Calendar Pro for BlackBerry 0.92
Calendar Pro can be downloaded for free for all of our forum registered members. Users who are not registered to our forums can register our forums for free by Clicking here! .Registering our forums should take a few moments.
We request users to register our forums in order to download Calendar Pro with the hope that this will be a good incentive or users to post back at our forums after trying Calendar Pro and give us their feedback on the first public beta, what features would they like to see and together help us push the development in the best direct possible while we will continue to introduce new public beta versions in upcoming weeks. Since our users feedback is very important to us we hope that users who will register our forums will be posting back with their experience this way Your feedback is highly important to us as part of the development process.
Click here to go to the Calendar Pro download page and download the latest version
    * When upgrading from the previous version we recommend to uninstall the previous version before installing this new update.
We are looking forward here for your input about the new version and we will highly appreciate all input possible that will help us with the design of the upcoming updates!
    Cheers!

I have a PrPr project on an external GTech drive connected via USB which ran fine on my old MBP in PrPr CC 2014. When I open this project on the new MBP I cannot render or export without getting error message "Video Preview Error; Error Unknown."
If I'm reading this correctly, it sounds like the project file was created on your previous MBP, and saved to that external USB (hopefully 3.0?) drive.  Is that correct?  Where did you have the media, scratch, etc files located on that previous MBP?  I'm wondering if Pr on the new MBP is tripping over itself trying to find other data that it might need?
Also when the Warp Stabilizer effect is applied, it generates black lines across the video in the program window. This happens when using either Mercury Playback Open CL and/or Cuda. However if I switch to Mercury Playback Software only, everything is fine but of course much slower. In addition, if I remove the effects from the sequence: Warp Stabilizer and auto colour and levels, the sequence exports fine regardless of whether Mercury Playback Open CL and/or Cuda or Software only.
What about other accelerated effects?  Can you apply any of them individually without getting black lines in the program window?  Further, have you tried installing the previous version of Pr CC to see if the same issues exist?  You'd have to create a new Pr project, as the 2014 project files aren't backward compatible.  But it might be interesting to see if you're experiencing the same problems with the older Pr.

  • Thinking of changing my current Macbook Pro for recently released?

My current Macbook Pro is the 15" bought in 2008 just when the glossy screen computers came out. Its a good unit with 4 gigs RAM, 2.4 mhz processor etc.
However, I just bought an iMac 27" i5. Its very powerful and is now the centre of my computing universe. Oddly, since I got the iMac I use my portable as a portable more than ever. I was thinking though that really since the iMac is so powerful probably all I'd need is the 13.3" new Macbook Pro. It would be lighter and more portable but I'm not sure it would give me any performance enhancements over what I currently have.
I'm just curious what others thoughts are on the new 13.3" Macbook Pro. The only advantage I can with it over my current Macbook Pro is the graphics processor looks like its more powerful. The battery life is also amazing. On my current Macbook Pro I'm lucky to get 3 hours. This machine is rated at 10 hours.
Considering I've got a powerful iMac i5, does it make sense just to get the 13.3" Macbook Pro or spring for the 15.4. I don't think I need two powerful computers considering I use the iMac as the centre. Plus, I realize now that the apps I use all this power is wasted on.
I could probably sell my current Macbook Pro for $1000 as it has a tiny dent from a fall, buy the new Macbook Pro for $1200 plus and have something that is a little more portable with great battery life and I suspect maybe somewhat faster. My current computer is of course a matte screen and I don't think you can beat that but I think this combo I'm thinking of might be a better fit.
I just want people's thoughts views especially around also that the 13.3" Macbook Pro is a core duo 2 and I think this processor is pretty well near the end of its life. I saw Steve Jobs say though that the performance boost from the new Macbook Pro would have been minimal with an i5 but a lot with the new graphics cards.
Thoughts would be very much appreciated.

If your budget is unlimited, look at both the retina and non-retina and make a decision based on your preferences.  If funds are tight, explore the options in the refurbished section.  Unless you are dealing with courses that demand specific performance parameters, any one of these options will suffice.
    Ciao.
